1Kuinka onkaan Herra vihassaan pilvillä peittänyt tytär Siionin! Hän heitti taivaasta maahan Israelin kunnian eikä muistanut jalkainsa astinlautaa vihansa päivänä. 2Herra on hävittänyt säälimättä kaikki Jaakobin majat, on hajottanut vihastuksissaan tytär Juudan linnoitukset, pannut ne maan tasalle. Hän on häväissyt valtakunnan ja sen ruhtinaat. 3Hän on vihan hehkussa hakannut poikki Israelin sarven kokonansa. Hän veti oikean kätensä takaisin vihamiehen edestä ja poltti Jaakobia kuin liekitsevä tuli, joka kuluttaa kaiken yltympäri. 4Hän jännitti jousensa kuin vihamies, seisoi oikea käsi koholla kuin vihollinen ja tappoi kaiken, mihin silmä oli ihastunut. How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
