Sống Vui Lòng Người Khác
1Dù có lòng tin vững mạnh, chúng ta cũng không nên làm thỏa lòng mình, nhưng phải lưu tâm nâng đỡ người kém đức tin. 2Mỗi chúng ta phải làm vui lòng anh chị em mình, để giúp ích và xây dựng cho họ. 3Vì ngay cả Chúa Cứu Thế cũng không làm thỏa lòng mình như Thánh Kinh đã viết: “Tôi hứng chịu mọi lời sỉ nhục của kẻ thù nghịch Chúa.” 4Tất cả những lời ghi chép trong Thánh Kinh cốt để dạy dỗ an ủi chúng ta, rèn luyện tính kiên nhẫn và đem lại cho chúng ta niềm hy vọng tràn đầy vì lời hứa của Đức Chúa Trời được thực hiện. 5Cầu xin Đức Chúa Trời, Đấng ban kiên nhẫn và an ủi, cho anh chị em sống trong tinh thần hợp nhất theo gương Chúa Cứu Thế Giê-xu, 6để anh chị em một lòng, một tiếng nói tôn vinh Đức Chúa Trời là Cha của Chúa chúng ta là Chúa Cứu Thế Giê-xu. 7Vậy, anh chị em hãy tiếp nhận nhau như Chúa Cứu Thế đã tiếp nhận chúng ta, để Đức Chúa Trời được tôn vinh. 8Tôi xin thưa, Chúa Cứu Thế đã đến phục vụ giữa người Do Thái để chứng tỏ đức chân thật của Đức Chúa Trời là thực hiện lời hứa với tổ phụ họ. 9Chúa cũng đến cho các Dân Ngoại để họ ca ngợi Đức Chúa Trời vì nhân từ của Ngài, như tác giả Thi Thiên đã ghi: “Vì thế, tôi sẽ tôn vinh Chúa giữa Dân Ngoại;tôi sẽ ca ngợi Danh Ngài.” ▼
10Có lời chép: “Hỡi Dân Ngoại
hãy chung vui với dân Chúa.” ▼
11Và: “Tất cả Dân Ngoại, hãy tôn vinh Chúa Hằng Hữu.
Tất cả dân tộc trên đất, hãy ngợi tôn Ngài.” ▼
12Tiên tri Y-sai cũng đã nói: “Hậu tự nhà Gie-sê sẽ xuất hiện
để cai trị các Dân Ngoại.
Họ sẽ đặt hy vọng nơi Ngài.” ▼
13Cầu xin Đức Chúa Trời, là nguồn hy vọng, cho anh chị em tràn ngập vui mừng và bình an khi anh chị em tin cậy Ngài, nhờ đó lòng anh chị em chứa chan hy vọng do quyền năng của Chúa Thánh Linh.

14Thưa anh chị em, tôi biết chắc anh chị em thừa hảo tâm và kiến thức nên có thể tự khuyên bảo lẫn nhau. 15Tuy nhiên, viết cho anh chị em, tôi nhấn mạnh một vài điều chỉ để nhắc nhở anh chị em. Bởi ơn phước Đức Chúa Trời đã dành cho tôi, 16tôi được chọn làm sứ giả của Chúa Cứu Thế giữa các Dân Ngoại để công bố Phúc Âm của Đức Chúa Trời. Nhờ đó, các dân tộc ấy được dâng lên cho Đức Chúa Trời như một lễ vật vui lòng Ngài do Chúa Thánh Linh thánh hóa. 17Vì thế, tôi lấy làm vinh dự được phục vụ Đức Chúa Trời, nhờ Chúa Cứu Thế Giê-xu. 18Tôi chẳng dám nói điều gì ngoài việc Chúa Cứu Thế đã dùng tôi dìu dắt Dân Ngoại trở về đầu phục Đức Chúa Trời qua lời giảng và những việc tôi làm giữa họ. 19Họ tin bởi quyền năng của các dấu lạ, phép mầu, và bởi quyền năng của Thánh Linh Đức Chúa Trời. Nhờ thế, tôi đã chu toàn nhiệm vụ truyền bá Phúc Âm của Chúa Cứu Thế từ Giê-ru-sa-lem cho đến I-ly-ri. 20Vì ước nguyện của tôi là công bố Phúc Âm tại những miền chưa nghe Danh Chúa Cứu Thế, để khỏi xây dựng trên nền tảng của người khác. 21Như Thánh Kinh dạy: “Người chưa được thông báo về Chúa sẽ thấy Ngài,và người chưa nghe sẽ hiểu Ngài.” ▼
22 Cũng vì lý do ấy, tôi bị ngăn trở nhiều lần, chưa đến thăm anh chị em.

23Nhưng hiện nay, công tác tại miền này đã xong. Theo lòng mong mỏi đến thăm anh chị em từ nhiều năm nay, 24tôi hy vọng trong chuyến đi Tây Ban Nha, sẽ ghé thăm anh chị em cho thỏa lòng mong ước, rồi anh chị em lại tiễn tôi lên đường. 25Nhưng trước khi tôi đến, tôi phải lên Giê-ru-sa-lem để trao tặng phẩm cho các tín hữu. 26Vì Hội Thánh ở Ma-xê-đoan và A-chai đã vui lòng quyên góp để giúp các tín hữu túng thiếu tại Giê-ru-sa-lem. 27Họ vui vẻ làm việc này vì tự biết mình thật sự mắc nợ. Từ khi Dân Ngoại được tín hữu Giê-ru-sa-lem chia sẻ phước hạnh tâm linh, họ tự thấy có bổn phận chia sớt lại của cải vật chất. 28Sau khi hoàn thành công tác, trao xong mọi phẩm vật quyên trợ, tôi sẽ lên đường đến thăm anh chị em trong chuyến đi Tây Ban Nha. 29Chắc chắn khi tôi đến, Chúa Cứu Thế sẽ ban phước lành dồi dào cho anh chị em. 30Thưa anh chị em, tôi nài khuyên anh chị em trong Danh của Chúa chúng ta là Chúa Cứu Thế Giê-xu và do tình yêu thương trong Chúa Thánh Linh, hãy cùng tôi hết sức khẩn nguyện Đức Chúa Trời, 31xin Ngài cho tôi tránh thoát cạm bẫy hãm hại của người không tin Chúa Cứu Thế ở xứ Giu-đê, cho công việc tôi tại Giê-ru-sa-lem được anh em tín hữu vui lòng chấp nhận. 32Trong ý muốn của Chúa, tôi sẽ đến thăm anh chị em cách vui vẻ, và chúng ta cùng được khích lệ. 33Cầu xin Đức Chúa Trời bình an ở với tất cả anh chị em. How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
