Quả Phụ Dâng Hiến
1Chúa Giê-xu đang ở trong Đền Thờ, Ngài nhìn thấy nhiều người giàu có bỏ tiền dâng vào hộp. 2Rồi một quả phụ nghèo đến dâng hai đồng xu. ▼▼ Nt lepta (có giá trị nhỏ nhất của đồng Do Thái)
3Chúa Giê-xu phán: “Ta quả quyết với các con, quả phụ nghèo khổ này dâng nhiều hơn tất cả những người kia, 4vì họ lấy của thừa thãi đem dâng, còn bà này tuy túng ngặt đã dâng tất cả tiền mình có để sống qua ngày.” Chúa Giê-xu Báo Trước về Tương Lai
5Một vài môn đệ trầm trồ khen ngợi những tảng đá đẹp đẽ và các vật trang trí lộng lẫy trong Đền Thờ. 6Nhưng Chúa Giê-xu phán: “Trong tương lai, tất cả công trình kiến trúc các con thấy đây sẽ sụp đổ tan tành. Không còn một tảng đá nào chồng lên tảng đá nào!” 7Các môn đệ hỏi: “Thưa Thầy, bao giờ việc đó xảy ra? Có dấu hiệu gì báo trước không?” 8Chúa đáp: “Các con phải thận trọng để khỏi bị lừa gạt. Vì nhiều người sẽ mạo Danh Ta, tự xưng ‘ta là Đấng Mết-si-a’ và nói rằng ‘ngày tận thế đã đến!’ Nhưng các con đừng tin họ. 9Khi nghe có chiến tranh, loạn lạc, các con đừng khiếp sợ. Những biến cố ấy phải xảy ra trước, nhưng chưa đến ngày tận thế.” 10Chúa dạy tiếp: “Dân tộc này sẽ tấn công dân tộc khác, và nước nọ tuyên chiến với nước kia. 11Sẽ có động đất dữ dội, nhiều xứ bị đói kém và bệnh dịch. Sẽ có những biến cố khủng khiếp và trên trời sẽ có nhiều dấu lạ. 12Nhưng trước khi các việc ấy xảy ra, có thời gian cho sự bức hại lớn. Các con sẽ bị hành hạ, khủng bố, giải ra hội đường và bị bỏ tù. Các con sẽ bị giải đến tòa án các vua và các tổng trấn vì các con thuộc về Ta. 13Đó là cơ hội để các con làm chứng về Ta. 14Các con đừng lo phải tự biện hộ thế nào, 15vì Ta sẽ cho các con lời lẽ khôn ngoan, lập luận đanh thép, kẻ thù không tranh luận, bài bác nổi. 16Ngay những người thân yêu nhất của các con như cha mẹ, anh chị em, bà con, bạn hữu cũng sẽ phản bội, bắt các con nộp cho kẻ thù và một số người trong các con sẽ bị giết. 17Mọi người sẽ ghen ghét các con, vì các con thuộc về Ta, 18nhưng một sợi tóc trên đầu các con cũng không mất. 19Cứ nhẫn nhục chịu đựng cho đến cuối cùng, các con sẽ được cứu. 20Khi các con thấy Giê-ru-sa-lem bị kẻ thù bao vây, các con biết thời kỳ tàn phá đã đến. 21Lúc ấy, ai ở trong xứ Giu-đê phải trốn lên miền đồi núi, ai ở trong thành phải chạy ra ngoài, ai ở ngoài thành đừng tìm cách trở vào. 22Vì đó là thời kỳ đoán phạt của Đức Chúa Trời theo đúng lời tiên tri trong Thánh Kinh. 23Trong những ngày ấy, không ai khổ cho bằng đàn bà có thai hay còn cho con bú. Tai họa đau thương sẽ trút trên đất nước và dân tộc này. 24Họ sẽ bị quân thù tàn sát và lưu đày khắp thế giới. Giê-ru-sa-lem sẽ bị các Dân Ngoại chà đạp cho đến thời kỳ của Dân Ngoại đến và chấm dứt. 25Nhiều dấu lạ sẽ hiện ra trên mặt trời, mặt trăng, và các vì sao. Dưới đất, các dân tộc đều hoang mang rối loạn trước cảnh biển động, sóng thần. 26Người ta sẽ ngất xỉu khiếp sợ đợi chờ những biến cố sắp diễn ra trên mặt đất, và các quyền lực dưới bầu trời cũng rung chuyển. 27Bấy giờ nhân loại sẽ thấy Con Người ▼▼ “Con Người” là danh xưng Chúa Giê-xu chỉ về Ngài
giáng xuống trong mây trời với uy quyền và vinh quang tuyệt đối. ▼ 28Khi những việc đó bắt đầu, các con hãy đứng dậy và ngước nhìn lên! Vì sự cứu rỗi của con đang gần đến.” 29Chúa giải thích: “Các con xem cây vả và các loài cây khác. 30Khi cây đâm chồi trổ lá, các con biết gần tới mùa hạ. 31Cũng thế, khi thấy những biến cố ấy xảy ra, các con biết Nước của Đức Chúa Trời đã gần. 32Ta quả quyết với các con, thời đại ▼▼ Nt thế hệ
này chưa chấm dứt, các biến cố ấy đã xảy ra rồi. 33Trời đất sẽ tiêu tan, nhưng lời Ta vẫn còn mãi mãi. 34Phải thận trọng! Đừng buông mình vào đời sống phóng đãng, say sưa, bận tâm lo lắng việc đời này, để khi ngày ấy đến, các con khỏi bị bất ngờ 35như mắc bẫy. Ngày ấy cũng sẽ đến bất ngờ cho mọi người trên mặt địa cầu. 36Các con phải luôn luôn cảnh giác; hãy cầu nguyện để có đủ sức vượt qua mọi cảnh hoạn nạn và nghênh đón Con Người.” 37Ngày nào cũng thế, ban ngày Chúa Giê-xu vào Đền Thờ giảng dạy, ban đêm, Ngài về nghỉ trên Núi Ô-liu. 38Dân chúng đến Đền Thờ thật sớm mỗi sáng để nghe Ngài.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
