Bài Ca của Đê-bô-ra
1Trong ngày ấy, Đê-bô-ra và Ba-rác, con A-bi-nô-am hát bài này:2 “Hãy ngợi ca Chúa Hằng Hữu!
Vì các lãnh đạo Ít-ra-ên cầm quân,
và dân chúng vui mừng đi theo!
3 Hỡi các vua, hãy nghe!
Hỡi các nhà lãnh đạo, hãy chú ý!
Vì tôi sẽ hát cho Chúa Hằng Hữu
Tôi sẽ ca ngợi Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của Ít-ra-ên.
4 Lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu, khi Ngài từ Sê-i-rơ ▼

đi ravà băng ngang qua đồng bằng Ê-đôm,
thì đất rung chuyển,
và mây từ các tầng trời trút đổ cơn mưa
5 Các núi rúng động trước mặt Chúa Hằng Hữu,
Đức Chúa Trời của núi Si-nai—
trước mặt Chúa Hằng Hữu,
Đức Chúa Trời của Ít-ra-ên.
6 Trong những ngày của Sam-ga, con trai A-nát,
trong những ngày của Gia-ên,
dân chúng tránh xa những đường cái,
khách bộ hành lần theo các lối quanh co.
7 Chỉ còn vài người sót lại trong các làng mạc Ít-ra-ên,
cho đến khi Đê-bô-ra chỗi dậy như một người mẹ của Ít-ra-ên,
8 Khi Ít-ra-ên chọn các thần mới,
thì chiến tranh đến trước cổng thành
Trong số bốn mươi nghìn quân lính Ít-ra-ên,
chẳng thấy có khiên, cũng chẳng có giáo.
9 Tôi hòa lòng với các tướng lãnh của Ít-ra-ên,
với những người tình nguyện tham gia chiến trận.
Ngợi tôn Chúa Hằng Hữu!
10 Hãy suy ngẫm việc này, hỡi những người cưỡi lừa trắng,
những người ngồi trên yên bọc nhung,
và những người đi bộ trên đường cái!
11 Hãy lắng nghe các nhạc công trong làng mạc
cùng hòa điệu bên giếng nước.
Họ đếm lại những chiến thắng công chính của Chúa Hằng Hữu
và chiến công của dân Ngài trong Ít-ra-ên.
Bấy giờ, con dân Chúa Hằng Hữu
tuần hành xuống các cổng thành.
12 Hãy tỉnh thức, hỡi Đê-bô-ra, hãy tỉnh thức!
Hãy tỉnh thức, tỉnh thức và hát một bài ca!
Hãy chỗi dậy, hỡi Ba-rác!
Đứng lên lãnh đạo dân ta.
Hãy dẫn các tù binh của mình đi, hỡi con trai A-bi-nô-am!
13 Bấy giờ, vài người từ Ta-bô đi xuống với các thủ lĩnh.
Con dân Chúa Hằng Hữu đến đánh các dũng sĩ
14 Họ kéo đến từ Ép-ra-im—
một vùng đất từng thuộc về A-ma-léc;
theo sau Bên-gia-min và quân đội người.
Các tướng lãnh từ Ma-ki đi xuống,
và những người cầm gậy chỉ huy đến từ Sa-bu-luân.
15 Các hoàng tử Y-sa-ca đều theo Đê-bô-ra và Ba-rác.
Họ theo Ba-rác xông vào thung lũng.
Nhưng trong đại tộc Ru-bên
còn có kẻ do dự trong lòng.
16 Tại sao anh nán lại bên chuồng chiên—
để nghe người chăn huýt sáo gọi đàn?
Phải, trong đại tộc Ru-bên

17 Ga-la-át đã ở phía đông sông Giô-đan.
Còn Đan, sao cứ ở lại nhà?
A-se cứ ngồi nơi bờ biển,
an nghỉ trong các hải cảng của mình.
18 Nhưng Sa-bu-luân đã liều thân,
giống như Nép-ta-li, trên các gò nổng của chiến trường.
19 Các vua Ca-na-an kéo đến tấn công,
tại Tha-a-nác, gần suối Mê-ghi-đô,
nhưng chẳng cướp được của cải bạc tiền.
20 Các ngôi sao từ trời tham chiến
những ngôi sao theo đường mình tiến đánh Si-sê-ra.
21 Sông Ki-sôn cuốn trôi quân thù,
tức dòng thác Ki-sôn ngày xưa.
Hỡi linh hồn ta, hãy bước đi can đảm!
22 Bấy giờ, tiếng vó ngựa giẫm đạp mặt đất
những chiến mã dũng mãnh của Si-sê-ra phi nước đại.
23 Sứ giả của Chúa Hằng Hữu truyền: ‘Hãy nguyền rủa Mê-rô;
hãy nguyền rủa thậm tệ cư dân nó,
vì chúng không đến giúp Chúa Hằng Hữu—
không trợ giúp Chúa Hằng Hữu đánh các dũng sĩ.’
24 Nguyện cho Gia-ên, vợ Hê-be, người Kê-nít
được phước nhất trong các người nữ!
Nguyện nàng được phước giữa các người nữ sống trong các lều trại.
25 Si-sê-ra xin nước,
nhưng nàng cho sữa.
Nàng dùng chén sang trọng
mà thết đãi sữa chua.
26 Tay trái nàng nắm cây cọc lều,
còn tay phải cầm búa của người thợ,
Nàng đánh Si-sê-ra, bổ đầu hắn ra,
với một nhát, nàng đâm thủng màng tang.
27 Hắn ngã gục,
nằm sóng sượt dưới chân nàng.
Hắn ngã gục,
chết ngay tại chỗ.
28 Mẹ của Si-sê-ra nhìn qua cửa sổ.
Từ sau rèm thưa, bà trông chờ con trở lại, hỏi rằng:
‘Vì sao xe của con chậm trễ?
Cớ sao chúng ta không nghe tiếng vó ngựa?’
29 Những nàng hầu khôn ngoan trả lời,
và chính mẹ hắn cũng nhủ thầm:
30 ‘Chẳng phải họ đang chia chiến lợi phẩm hay sao?
Một hoặc hai thiếu nữ cho mỗi chiến binh.
Chiến lợi phẩm bằng vải nhuộm dành cho Si-sê-ra,
và chiến lợi phẩm bằng vải nhuộm thêu cho ta.
Phải, hai tấm vải nhuộm thêu,
trên cổ người thắng trận.’
31 Lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu, nguyện mọi kẻ thù của Ngài bị diệt như Si-sê-ra!
Còn những người yêu kính Ngài sẽ giống như mặt trời mọc lên rực rỡ!”
Sau đó, xứ sở được bình an trong bốn mươi năm.

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
