Ân Tứ Nói Tiếng Lạ và Nói Tiên Tri
1Anh chị em hãy tìm cầu tình yêu và ao ước các ân tứ Chúa Thánh Linh, nhất là ân truyền giảng lời Chúa. 2Người nói tiếng lạ không nói với con người nhưng với Đức Chúa Trời, không ai hiểu được vì người ấy nói về các huyền nhiệm do Chúa Thánh Linh cảm động. 3Còn truyền giảng là nói lời Chúa cho người khác nghe, nhằm mục đích gây dựng, khích lệ, và an ủi. 4Người nói tiếng lạ gây dựng cho mình, nhưng người giảng lời Chúa gây dựng Hội Thánh. 5Tôi muốn mỗi anh chị em đều nói tiếng lạ, nhưng tôi càng mong anh chị em giảng lời Chúa, vì giảng lời Chúa quan trọng hơn nói tiếng lạ. Nói tiếng lạ chỉ gây dựng Hội Thánh khi có người thông dịch. 6Thưa anh chị em, nếu tôi đến thăm anh chị em và nói thứ tiếng anh chị em không hiểu, thì ích lợi gì cho anh chị em? Anh chị em chỉ được gây dựng khi tôi nói cho anh chị em hiểu chân lý Chúa mặc khải, hoặc tri thức tâm linh, hoặc khi tôi công bố, giảng dạy lời Chúa. 7Cũng như các nhạc khí, ống tiêu, hay đàn hạc, nếu phát ra âm thanh hỗn loạn, làm sao biết đang tấu bản nhạc gì? 8Nếu kèn trận thổi những tiếng lạc lõng, rời rạc, ai hiểu được mà xông pha chiến trận? 9Anh chị em cũng thế, nếu miệng lưỡi phát âm không rõ ràng, ai biết anh chị em muốn nói gì? Đó chỉ là lời nói vô nghĩa. 10Thế giới có nhiều ngôn ngữ, mỗi ngôn ngữ đều có ý nghĩa. 11Khi tôi không hiểu ngôn ngữ nào, người nói ngôn ngữ đó xem tôi là người ngoại quốc, và tôi cũng xem họ là người ngoại quốc. 12Anh chị em đã ao ước nhận lãnh ân tứ Chúa Thánh Linh, hãy cầu xin ân tứ tốt nhất để gây dựng Hội Thánh. 13Người nào nói tiếng lạ cũng cầu xin Chúa cho mình có khả năng thông dịch. 14Nếu tôi cầu nguyện bằng tiếng lạ, tâm linh tôi cầu nguyện, nhưng trí óc tôi không hiểu. 15Vậy tôi phải làm gì? Tôi cầu nguyện bằng cả tâm linh lẫn trí óc, ca ngợi Chúa bằng cả tâm linh lẫn trí óc. 16Nếu anh chị em tạ ơn Chúa bằng tâm linh, người khác không thể hiểu, làm sao họ đồng lòng hiệp ý với anh chị em? 17Lời cảm tạ của anh chị em vẫn tốt, nhưng người khác không được gây dựng. 18Tôi cảm tạ Đức Chúa Trời vì tôi nói được nhiều tiếng lạ hơn anh chị em. 19Nhưng giữa Hội Thánh, thà tôi nói năm ba lời cho người khác hiểu để hướng dẫn họ còn hơn nói hàng vạn lời bằng ngôn ngữ không ai hiểu. 20Thưa anh chị em, đừng hiểu biết hời hợt như trẻ con. Về việc xảo trá, nên ngây thơ như trẻ con, nhưng về việc hiểu biết, nên chín chắn như người lớn. 21Thánh Kinh chép: “Chúa Hằng Hữu phán: Ta sẽ dùng người nước ngoàivà qua môi miệng của họ
nói tiếng lạ với dân này.
Nhưng họ không lắng nghe Ta.” ▼
22Như thế, ngoại ngữ là dấu hiệu cho người vô tín biết quyền năng của Chúa, không phải cho tín hữu. Còn công bố lời Chúa là để giúp ích tín hữu, không phải cho người vô tín. 23Nếu Hội Thánh nhóm họp, tất cả đều nói ngoại ngữ, và nếu có người không hiểu hoặc người vô tín bước vào, họ sẽ tưởng anh chị em điên loạn. 24Nhưng nếu tất cả đều truyền giảng lời Chúa, gặp lúc người vô tín hay người chưa hiểu Phúc Âm bước vào, những lời ấy sẽ thuyết phục, cáo trách họ, 25và những điều bí ẩn trong lòng bị phơi bày. Họ sẽ cúi đầu xuống thờ phượng Đức Chúa Trời và nhìn nhận Đức Chúa Trời thật đang sống giữa anh chị em.

26Vì thế, khi anh chị em nhóm họp, người hát thánh ca, người giảng dạy, người tỏ bày mặc khải, người nói ngoại ngữ, người thông dịch. Nhưng tất cả đều nhằm mục đích gây dựng Hội Thánh. 27Về việc nói ngoại ngữ, mỗi lần họp chỉ cho hai hoặc ba người nói: phải nói lần lượt và có người thông dịch. 28Nếu không ai thông dịch, người được ơn nói ngoại ngữ phải ngồi yên lặng trong Hội Thánh, nói thầm với mình và với Đức Chúa Trời. 29Cũng nên để hai hoặc ba người nói tiên tri, còn các tín hữu khác ngồi nghe. 30Trong số người nghe, nếu ai được mặc khải, người giảng giải nên nhường lời. 31Vì tất cả anh chị em có thể lần lượt giảng giải lời Chúa để ai nấy đều học hỏi và được khích lệ. 32Người nói tiên tri phải làm chủ tâm linh của mình và thay phiên nhau. 33Vì Đức Chúa Trời là Chúa bình an, Ngài không ưa cảnh hỗn loạn. Hội Thánh khắp nơi đều giữ trật tự khi hội họp, 34phụ nữ phải yên lặng, không được lên tiếng thảo luận, phải thuận phục như luật pháp đòi hỏi. 35Nếu phụ nữ muốn tìm hiểu điều gì, hãy hỏi chồng lúc ở nhà, không được phát biểu ý kiến giữa Hội Thánh. 36Anh chị em tưởng Đạo Chúa phát xuất từ Cô-rinh-tô, và chỉ truyền bá tại Cô-rinh-tô thôi sao? 37Người nào cho mình được ơn nói tiên tri hoặc ân tứ khác của Chúa Thánh Linh, hẳn biết những điều tôi viết cho anh chị em là mệnh lệnh của Chúa. 38Ai không nhìn nhận như thế, anh chị em đừng nhìn nhận họ. 39Vậy, anh chị em hãy ước ao được ơn nói tiên tri, truyền giảng lời Chúa và đừng ngăn cản việc nói tiếng lạ. 40Mọi việc phải thực hiện cách thích hợp và trong vòng trật tự.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
