ชีวิตโดยทางพระวิญญาณ
1เหตุฉะนั้นบัดนี้จึงไม่มีการลงโทษแก่บรรดาผู้ที่อยู่ในพระเยซูคริสต์ ▼▼สำเนาต้นฉบับบางสำเนาว่าพระเยซูคริสต์ผู้ไม่ได้ดำเนินชีวิตตามวิสัยบาป แต่ดำเนินชีวิตตามพระวิญญาณ
2เพราะว่าโดยทางพระเยซูคริสต์ กฎของพระวิญญาณแห่งชีวิตได้ปลดปล่อยท่าน ▼▼สำเนาต้นฉบับบางสำเนาว่าข้าพเจ้า
ให้เป็นอิสระจากกฎแห่งบาปและความตาย 3เพราะสิ่งที่บทบัญญัติทำไม่ได้เนื่องจากวิสัยบาป ▼▼หรือเนื้อหนังเช่นเดียวกับข้อ 4,5,8,9,12 และ 13

4เพื่อข้อกำหนดอันชอบธรรมของบทบัญญัติจะได้สำเร็จครบถ้วนในตัวเราทั้งหลายผู้ไม่ดำเนินชีวิตตามวิสัยบาป แต่ดำเนินชีวิตตามพระวิญญาณ 5ผู้ที่ดำเนินชีวิตตามวิสัยบาปก็ปักใจในสิ่งที่วิสัยบาปต้องการ แต่ผู้ที่ดำเนินชีวิตตามพระวิญญาณก็ปักใจในสิ่งที่พระวิญญาณทรงประสงค์ 6จิตใจของคนบาป ▼
▼หรือจิตใจที่จดจ่ออยู่กับเนื้อหนัง
นำไปสู่ความตาย แต่จิตใจที่พระวิญญาณทรงควบคุมนำไปสู่ชีวิตและสันติสุข 7จิตใจที่เต็มไปด้วยบาป ▼▼หรือจิตใจที่จดจ่ออยู่กับเนื้อหนัง
ก็เป็นศัตรูกับพระเจ้า ไม่ยอมอยู่ใต้บทบัญญัติของพระเจ้า ทั้งไม่สามารถอยู่ได้ด้วย 8บรรดาผู้ที่วิสัยบาปควบคุมอยู่ไม่อาจเป็นที่ชอบพระทัยของพระเจ้าได้ 9อย่างไรก็ตามถ้าพระวิญญาณของพระเจ้าสถิตในท่าน ท่านก็ไม่ได้ถูกควบคุมโดยวิสัยบาปแต่โดยพระวิญญาณ และถ้าผู้ใดไม่มีพระวิญญาณของพระคริสต์ ผู้นั้นก็ไม่ได้เป็นของพระคริสต์ 10แต่ถ้าพระคริสต์อยู่ในท่าน กายของท่านก็ตายไปเพราะบาป ถึงกระนั้นจิตวิญญาณของท่านก็มีชีวิตอยู่เพราะความชอบธรรม 11และถ้าพระวิญญาณของพระองค์ผู้ทรงให้พระเยซูเป็นขึ้นจากตายสถิตในท่าน พระองค์ผู้ทรงให้พระคริสต์เป็นขึ้นจากตายจะประทานชีวิตแก่กายซึ่งต้องตายของท่านด้วย พระองค์ประทานชีวิตนั้นโดยทางพระวิญญาณของพระองค์ผู้สถิตในท่าน
12เหตุฉะนั้นพี่น้องทั้งหลาย เราจึงมีพันธะ แต่ไม่ใช่พันธะต่อวิสัยบาปที่จะต้องดำเนินชีวิตตามนั้น 13เพราะถ้าท่านดำเนินชีวิตตามวิสัยบาป ท่านก็จะตาย แต่ถ้าท่านได้ประหารการกระทำอันชั่วร้ายของกายของท่านโดยพระวิญญาณ ท่านก็จะมีชีวิตอยู่ 14เพราะพระวิญญาณของพระเจ้าทรงนำผู้ใด ผู้นั้นเป็นบุตรของพระเจ้า 15ท่านไม่ได้รับวิญญาณซึ่งทำให้ท่านเป็นทาสของความกลัวอีก แต่ท่านได้รับพระวิญญาณผู้ทำให้ท่านเป็นบุตรของพระเจ้า ▼
▼หรือพระวิญญาณแห่งการรับเป็นบุตรบุญธรรม
และโดยพระองค์ เราร้องว่า “อับบา ▼▼เป็นภาษาอาราเมค แปลว่า พ่อ
พ่อ” 16พระวิญญาณเองทรงยืนยันร่วมกับวิญญาณจิตของเรา ว่าเราเป็นบุตรของพระเจ้า 17บัดนี้ถ้าเราเป็นบุตรของพระองค์แล้ว เราก็เป็นทายาทคือเป็นทายาทของพระเจ้า และเป็นทายาทร่วมกับพระคริสต์ ถ้าเราร่วมทนทุกข์อย่างแท้จริงกับพระองค์ เราก็จะร่วมในพระเกียรติสิริของพระองค์ด้วย สง่าราศีในภายหน้า
18ข้าพเจ้าเห็นว่าความทุกข์ยากของเราในปัจจุบันเทียบไม่ได้เลยกับพระเกียรติสิริซึ่งจะทรงสำแดงในเรา 19สรรพสิ่งที่พระเจ้าทรงสร้างจดจ่อรอคอยให้บรรดาบุตรของพระเจ้าปรากฏ 20เพราะสรรพสิ่งที่พระเจ้าทรงสร้างได้ถูกทำให้ผิดเพี้ยนไร้ค่าไป ไม่ใช่โดยความสมัครใจของมันเอง แต่โดยความตั้งใจของผู้ที่บังคับให้มันต้องตกอยู่ในภาวะดังกล่าว ด้วยมีความหวัง 21ว่า ▼▼หรือตกอยู่ในภาวะดังกล่าวด้วยความหวัง 21เพราะ
สรรพสิ่งเหล่านั้นจะได้รับการปลดปล่อยจากการผูกมัดให้ต้องเสื่อมสลาย และจะถูกนำเข้าสู่เสรีภาพอันรุ่งโรจน์ของบรรดาบุตรของพระเจ้า 22เรารู้ว่าสรรพสิ่งที่พระเจ้าทรงสร้างกำลังคร่ำครวญราวกับเจ็บท้องจะคลอดบุตรจนถึงปัจจุบันนี้ 23ไม่เพียงเท่านั้นแม้แต่เราเอง ผู้มีผลแรกของพระวิญญาณก็ยังคร่ำครวญอยู่ภายในขณะที่เราจดจ่อรอคอยการทรงรับเราเป็นบุตร คือการไถ่ร่างกายของเราให้รอด 24เพราะว่าในความหวังนี้เราได้รับความรอดแล้ว แต่ความหวังที่เห็นได้นั้นไม่ใช่ความหวังเลย ใครเล่าหวังในสิ่งที่ตนเองมีอยู่
แล้ว? 25แต่ถ้าเราหวังในสิ่งที่เรายังไม่มี เราย่อมรอคอยสิ่งนั้นด้วยความอดทน
26ในทำนองเดียวกันพระวิญญาณทรงช่วยเราในยามเราอ่อนแอ เราไม่รู้ว่าเราควรอธิษฐานขอสิ่งใด แต่พระวิญญาณเองทรงอธิษฐานวิงวอนแทนเราด้วยการคร่ำครวญที่ไม่อาจหาถ้อยคำใดมาบรรยาย 27และพระเจ้าผู้ทรงชันสูตรใจของเราทรงรู้พระทัยของพระวิญญาณเพราะพระวิญญาณทรงอธิษฐานวิงวอนแทนประชากรของพระเจ้าตามพระประสงค์ของพระเจ้า

28และเรารู้ว่าในทุกๆ สิ่งพระเจ้าทรงทำให้เกิดผลดีแก่บรรดาผู้ที่รักพระองค์ ▼▼สำเนาต้นฉบับบางสำเนาว่าและเรารู้ว่าทุกสิ่งร่วมกันทำให้เกิดผลดีแก่บรรดาผู้ที่รักพระเจ้า
คือผู้ที่ ▼▼หรือทรงร่วมกับบรรดาผู้ที่รักพระองค์เพื่อทำให้เกิดผลดีแก่บรรดาผู้ที่
ได้ทรงเรียกตามพระประสงค์ของพระองค์ 29เพราะบรรดาผู้ที่พระเจ้าทรงเลือกไว้ล่วงหน้าแล้ว พระองค์ก็ทรงกำหนดไว้ก่อนแล้วให้เป็นเหมือนพระบุตรของพระองค์ เพื่อพระบุตรจะได้เป็นบุตรหัวปีท่ามกลางพี่น้องมากมาย 30และบรรดาผู้ที่ทรงกำหนดไว้ก่อนนั้น พระองค์ก็ทรงเรียกด้วย บรรดาผู้ที่พระองค์ทรงเรียก พระองค์ก็ทรงนับว่าเป็นผู้ชอบธรรมด้วย บรรดาผู้ที่ทรงนับว่าเป็นผู้ชอบธรรม พระองค์ก็ทรงให้รับพระเกียรติสิริด้วย 31เช่นนี้แล้วเราจะว่าอย่างไร? ถ้าพระเจ้าทรงอยู่ฝ่ายเราใครเล่าจะต่อสู้เราได้? 32พระองค์ผู้ไม่ได้ทรงหวงพระบุตรองค์เดียวของพระองค์ แต่ได้ประทานพระบุตรนั้นแก่เราทุกคน พระองค์จะไม่ยิ่งทรงเมตตาประทานสิ่งสารพัดแก่เราพร้อมกับพระบุตรหรือ? 33ใครจะฟ้องร้องบรรดาผู้ที่พระเจ้าทรงเลือกไว้? ก็พระเจ้าเองทรงนับว่าเราเป็นผู้ชอบธรรม 34ใครจะกล่าวโทษได้อีก? พระเยซูคริสต์ผู้ทรงสิ้นพระชนม์และยิ่งกว่านั้นพระเจ้าทรงให้พระองค์เป็นขึ้นจากตายแล้ว บัดนี้พระองค์ประทับอยู่เบื้องขวาพระหัตถ์ของพระเจ้าและทรงกำลังอธิษฐานวิงวอนแทนเราด้วย 35ใครเล่าจะพรากเราจากความรักของพระคริสต์ได้? ความทุกข์ร้อน ความยากลำบาก การข่มเหง การกันดารอาหาร การเปลือยกาย ภยันตราย หรือคมดาบอย่างนั้นหรือ? 36ตามที่มีเขียนไว้ว่า
“เพราะเห็นแก่พระองค์ ข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายเผชิญความตายวันยังค่ำ
ข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายถูกนับว่าเป็นแกะที่จะเอาไปฆ่า” m
37เปล่าเลย ในสถานการณ์ทั้งปวงนี้เราเป็นยิ่งกว่าผู้พิชิตโดยทางพระองค์ผู้ทรงรักเราทั้งหลาย 38เพราะข้าพเจ้าเชื่อมั่นว่า ไม่ว่าความตายหรือชีวิต ไม่ว่าทูตสวรรค์หรือวิญญาณชั่ว ▼

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
