พระเยซูทรงรักษาคนเป็นโรคเรื้อน
(มก.1:40-44; ลก.5:12-14)
1เมื่อพระองค์เสด็จลงมาจากภูเขา คนเป็นอันมากติดตามพระองค์มา 2ชายคนหนึ่งเป็นโรคเรื้อน ▼▼คำภาษากรีกอาจหมายถึงโรคผิวหนังต่างๆ ไม่จำเป็นต้องหมายถึงโรคเรื้อนเท่านั้น
มาคุกเข่ากราบทูลพระองค์ว่า “พระองค์เจ้าข้า พระองค์ทรงรักษาข้าพระองค์ให้หายได้ถ้าพระองค์เต็มใจ” 3พระเยซูทรงยื่นพระหัตถ์แตะต้องชายผู้นั้นและตรัสว่า “เราเต็มใจจะรักษา จงหายโรคเถิด!” ทันใดนั้นเขาก็หายจากโรคเรื้อน 4แล้วพระเยซูตรัสกับเขาว่า “จงระวังอย่าบอกผู้ใดเลย แต่จงไปแสดงตัวต่อปุโรหิตและถวายเครื่องบูชาตามที่โมเสสสั่งไว้เพื่อเป็นพยานแก่คนทั้งหลายว่าท่านหายโรคแล้ว”

5เมื่อพระเยซูเสด็จเข้าเมืองคาเปอรนาอุม มีนายร้อยคนหนึ่งมาทูลขอความช่วยเหลือจากพระองค์ 6เขากล่าวว่า “พระองค์เจ้าข้า คนรับใช้ของข้าพระองค์นอนป่วยเป็นอัมพาตอยู่ที่บ้าน ทนทุกข์ทรมานยิ่งนัก”7พระเยซูตรัสแก่นายร้อยนั้นว่า “เราจะไปรักษาเขา”
8เขาทูลว่า “พระองค์เจ้าข้า ข้าพระองค์ไม่คู่ควรที่จะให้พระองค์เสด็จมาใต้ชายคาบ้านของข้าพระองค์ เพียงแต่พระองค์ตรัสสั่งเท่านั้น คนรับใช้ของข้าพระองค์ก็จะหายป่วย 9เพราะข้าพระองค์เองมีทั้งผู้บังคับบัญชาและมีทหารใต้บังคับบัญชา ข้าพระองค์สั่งคนนี้ว่า ‘ไป’ เขาก็ไป สั่งคนนั้นว่า ‘มา’ เขาก็มา ข้าพระองค์สั่งคนรับใช้ว่า ‘จงทำสิ่งนี้’ เขาก็ทำ”
10เมื่อพระเยซูทรงได้ยินเช่นนั้นก็ทรงประหลาดพระทัยและตรัสกับบรรดาผู้ติดตามพระองค์ว่า “เราบอกความจริงแก่ท่านว่าเราไม่เคยพบใครสักคนในอิสราเอลที่มีความเชื่อยิ่งใหญ่เพียงนี้ 11เราบอกท่านว่าคนเป็นอันมากจากตะวันออกและตะวันตกจะมาเข้าประจำที่ของตนในงานเลี้ยงร่วมกับอับราฮัม อิสอัค และยาโคบในอาณาจักรสวรรค์ 12แต่พลเมืองของอาณาจักรนั้นจะถูกโยนออกมาสู่ความมืดมิดภายนอกที่ซึ่งจะมีการร่ำไห้และการขบเขี้ยวเคี้ยวฟัน”
13แล้วพระเยซูตรัสกับนายร้อยนั้นว่า “จงไปเถิด จะเป็นไปตามที่ท่านเชื่อ” และคนใช้ของเขาก็หายโรคในชั่วโมงนั้นเอง

14เมื่อพระเยซูเสด็จเข้าไปในบ้านของเปโตรก็ทรงเห็นแม่ยายของเปโตรนอนเป็นไข้อยู่บนเตียง 15พระองค์ทรงจับมือของนางอาการไข้ก็พลันหายไป นางจึงลุกขึ้นปรนนิบัติรับใช้พระองค์16พอตกเย็นคนถูกผีสิงหลายคนถูกนำมาหาพระองค์ และพระองค์ทรงขับผีเหล่านั้นออกด้วยคำตรัสและทรงรักษาคนเจ็บป่วยทั้งปวง 17การนี้เป็นจริงตามที่ได้กล่าวไว้ผ่านทางผู้เผยพระวจนะอิสยาห์ว่า
“พระองค์ทรงรับความอ่อนแอทั้งหลายของเรา
และแบกรับโรคต่างๆ ของเราไว้” b

18เมื่อพระเยซูทรงเห็นว่าประชาชนมาห้อมล้อมพระองค์ จึงตรัสสั่งให้ข้ามทะเลสาบไปยังอีกฟากหนึ่ง 19แล้วมีธรรมาจารย์คนหนึ่งมาทูลพระองค์ว่า “ท่านอาจารย์ ข้าพเจ้าจะติดตามท่านไม่ว่าท่านจะไปที่ใด”20พระเยซูตรัสตอบว่า “สุนัขจิ้งจอกยังมีโพรง นกในอากาศยังมีรัง แต่บุตรมนุษย์ไม่มีที่ที่จะวางศีรษะ”
21สาวกอีกคนหนึ่งทูลพระองค์ว่า “พระองค์เจ้าข้า ให้ข้าพระองค์ไปฝังศพบิดาก่อน”
22แต่พระเยซูตรัสว่า “จงตามเรามา ปล่อยให้คนตายฝังผู้ตายของพวกเขาเองเถิด”
พระเยซูทรงห้ามพายุ
(มก.4:36-41; ลก.8:22-25)
23แล้วพระองค์เสด็จลงเรือและเหล่าสาวกของพระองค์ตามพระองค์ไป 24ทันใดนั้นเกิดพายุร้ายกลางทะเลสาบ คลื่นซัดท่วมเรือ แต่พระเยซูบรรทมอยู่ 25เหล่าสาวกมาปลุกพระองค์พร้อมทั้งทูลว่า “พระองค์เจ้าข้า ช่วยเราด้วย! เรากำลังจะจมน้ำตายอยู่แล้ว!”26พระเยซูตรัสตอบว่า “ท่านผู้มีความเชื่อน้อย เหตุใดจึงตื่นตกใจถึงเพียงนี้?” แล้วพระองค์ทรงลุกขึ้นห้ามลมและคลื่น มันก็สงบราบเรียบ
27เหล่าสาวกประหลาดใจและพูดกันว่า “พระองค์ทรงเป็นใครกันหนอ? แม้แต่ลมและคลื่นก็ยังเชื่อฟังพระองค์!”
การรักษาคนถูกผีสิงสองคน

28เมื่อข้ามฟากมาถึงแดนกาดารา ▼▼หรือเกราซา
ชายสองคนซึ่งมีผีสิงออกจากอุโมงค์ฝังศพมาหาพระองค์ ทั้งสองดุร้ายมากจนไม่มีใครกล้าผ่านเข้าไปแถวนั้น 29ชายทั้งสองตะโกนว่า “พระบุตรของพระเจ้าพระองค์ต้องการอะไรจากเราหรือ? ทรงมาที่นี่เพื่อทรมานเราก่อนถึงกำหนดเวลาหรือ?” 30ไม่ไกลจากที่นั่นมีสุกรฝูงใหญ่หากินอยู่ 31ผีนั้นจึงทูลอ้อนวอนพระเยซูว่า “ถ้าจะทรงขับพวกเราออก ขอให้เราไปสิงในสุกรฝูงนั้นเถิด”
32พระองค์ตรัสสั่งพวกมันว่า “ไป!” ผีนั้นจึงเข้าไปสิงในสุกร สุกรทั้งฝูงก็กระโจนจากหน้าผาลงทะเลสาบจมน้ำตายหมด 33บรรดาคนเลี้ยงสุกรวิ่งเข้าไปในเมืองเล่าเรื่องทั้งหมดรวมทั้งเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดกับคนที่มีผีสิงทั้งสองคนนั้น 34แล้วคนทั้งเมืองออกมาหาพระเยซูและเมื่อพวกเขาพบพระองค์ก็ทูลขอร้องให้ทรงออกจากเขตแดนของเขา

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
