เงินถวายของหญิงม่าย
(มก.12:41-44)
1เมื่อพระเยซูทรงเงยพระพักตร์ขึ้นมอง ทรงเห็นพวกคนรวยเอาเงินใส่ที่รับเงินถวายของพระวิหาร 2และพระองค์ยังทรงเห็นหญิงม่ายยากจนคนหนึ่งหย่อนเหรียญทองแดงเล็กๆ สองเหรียญ ▼

ถวายด้วย 3พระองค์ตรัสว่า “เราบอกความจริงแก่ท่านว่าหญิงม่ายยากจนคนนี้ถวายมากกว่าคนอื่นๆ ทั้งหมด 4เพราะคนเหล่านั้นล้วนเอาส่วนเล็กน้อยจากความมั่งคั่งของเขามาถวาย แต่หญิงม่ายนี้ทั้งที่ยากจนยังเอาทั้งหมดที่นางมีไว้เลี้ยงชีพมาถวาย” หมายสำคัญแห่งวาระสิ้นยุค

5บางคนในหมู่สาวกของพระองค์ตั้งข้อสังเกตถึงการที่พระวิหารประดับประดาด้วยศิลางดงามและของถวายต่างๆ ที่อุทิศแด่พระเจ้า แต่พระเยซูตรัสว่า 6“สิ่งต่างๆ ที่ท่านเห็นอยู่นี้ สักวันหนึ่งจะไม่เหลือศิลาซ้อนทับกันสักก้อนเดียว ทุกก้อนจะถูกโยนทิ้งลงมาหมด”7พวกเขาทูลถามว่า “พระอาจารย์ สิ่งเหล่านี้จะเกิดขึ้นเมื่อใด? และอะไรเป็นหมายสำคัญว่าสิ่งเหล่านี้กำลังจะเกิดขึ้น?”
8พระองค์ตรัสว่า “จงระวัง เพื่อท่านจะไม่ถูกล่อลวง เพราะหลายคนจะมาในนามของเรา อ้างตัวว่า ‘เราคือผู้นั้น’ และอ้างว่า ‘วาระนั้นใกล้เข้ามาแล้ว’ อย่าไปตามคนพวกนี้ 9เมื่อท่านได้ยินข่าวสู้รบและการปฏิวัติ อย่าตื่นตกใจ สิ่งเหล่านั้นต้องเกิดขึ้นก่อน แต่วาระสุดท้ายยังไม่มาในทันที”
10แล้วพระองค์ตรัสกับพวกเขาว่า “ประชาชาติต่อประชาชาติ อาณาจักรต่ออาณาจักรจะสู้รบกัน 11จะเกิดแผ่นดินไหวครั้งใหญ่หลายครั้ง การกันดารอาหารและโรคระบาดในที่ต่างๆ ตลอดจนเหตุการณ์น่าสะพรึงกลัวและหมายสำคัญยิ่งใหญ่จากฟ้าสวรรค์
12“แต่ก่อนเหตุการณ์ทั้งปวงนี้ พวกเขาจะจับกุมท่านและข่มเหงท่าน เขาจะส่งตัวท่านไปยังธรรมศาลาและคุกตะราง ท่านจะถูกคุมตัวไปเข้าเฝ้ากษัตริย์ ไปพบผู้ว่าการ และทั้งหมดนี้เป็นเพราะนามของเรา 13การนี้จะส่งผลให้ท่านได้เป็นพยานแก่พวกนั้น 14แต่ท่านจงตัดสินใจที่จะไม่กังวลไปก่อนว่าจะพูดแก้ต่างให้ตนเองอย่างไร 15เพราะเราจะให้ถ้อยคำและสติปัญญาแก่ท่าน อย่างที่เหล่าปฏิปักษ์ของท่านไม่สามารถต่อต้านหรือโต้แย้งได้เลย 16แม้กระทั่งพ่อแม่ พี่น้อง ญาติมิตรของท่านก็จะทรยศท่านด้วย และพวกท่านบางคนจะถูกฆ่า 17คนทั้งปวงจะเกลียดชังท่านเพราะเรา 18แต่ผมบนศีรษะของท่านสักเส้นเดียวก็จะไม่พินาศ 19โดย การยืนหยัดอย่างมั่นคง ท่านจะได้รับชีวิต
20“เมื่อท่านเห็นกองทัพต่างๆ ล้อมกรุงเยรูซาเล็ม ท่านก็จะรู้ว่าหายนะของกรุงนั้นใกล้เข้ามาแล้ว 21เมื่อนั้นให้ผู้ที่อยู่ในยูเดียหนีไปที่ภูเขา ให้ผู้ที่อยู่ในกรุงออกไป และผู้ที่อยู่ในชนบทอย่าเข้ามาในกรุง 22เพราะนี่เป็นวาระแห่งการลงโทษ เพื่อให้สิ่งทั้งปวงสำเร็จตามที่มีเขียนไว้ 23วันเหล่านั้นน่าหวาดกลัวยิ่งนักสำหรับหญิงมีครรภ์และแม่ลูกอ่อน! จะเกิดทุกข์เข็ญครั้งใหญ่ในแผ่นดินและจะมีพระพิโรธต่อชนชาตินี้ 24เขาทั้งหลายจะล้มตายด้วยคมดาบ จะถูกจับกุมเป็นนักโทษ และถูกนำตัวไปยังประชาชาติทั้งปวง คนต่างชาติจะเหยียบ ย่ำกรุงเยรูซาเล็ม จนครบวาระกำหนดของคนต่างชาติ
25“จะมีหมายสำคัญที่ดวงอาทิตย์ ดวงจันทร์ และดวงดาวทั้งหลาย ในโลกนี้ประชาชาติต่างๆ จะตกอยู่ในความทุกข์ทรมานและความฉงนสนเท่ห์ที่เกิดเสียงกึกก้องและเกิดความปั่นป่วนในท้องทะเล 26ผู้คนจะสลบไสลเพราะความสยองขวัญและหวาดหวั่นเกี่ยวกับสิ่งที่จะเกิดขึ้นในโลก เพราะสิ่งต่างๆ ในท้องฟ้าจะสะเทือนสะท้าน 27วาระนั้นเขาทั้งหลายจะเห็นบุตรมนุษย์เสด็จมาในหมู่เมฆด้วยฤทธิ์อำนาจและพระเกียรติสิริอันยิ่งใหญ่ 28เมื่อสิ่งเหล่านี้เริ่มขึ้น จงยืนขึ้นและเชิดศีรษะขึ้น เพราะท่านใกล้จะได้รับการไถ่แล้ว”
29พระองค์ตรัสคำอุปมานี้ให้เขาฟังว่า “จงมองดูต้นมะเดื่อและต้นไม้ทั้งปวงเถิด 30เมื่อมันผลิใบ ท่านก็เห็นและรู้ด้วยตนเองว่าฤดูร้อนใกล้เข้ามาแล้ว 31เช่นเดียวกัน เมื่อท่านเห็นสิ่งเหล่านี้เกิดขึ้น ท่านก็รู้ว่าอาณาจักรของพระเจ้าใกล้เข้ามาแล้ว
32“เราบอกความจริงแก่ท่านว่า คนยุคนี้ ▼

ยังไม่ทันล่วงลับไป สิ่งทั้งปวงเหล่านี้ก็เกิดขึ้นแล้วอย่างแน่นอน 33ฟ้าและดินจะสูญสิ้นไป แต่ถ้อยคำของเราไม่มีวันสูญสิ้น 34“จงระวังให้ดี มิฉะนั้นใจของท่านจะจมอยู่กับความสนุกบันเทิงฝ่ายโลก การเมามาย และความวิตกกังวลต่างๆ ในชีวิต และวาระนั้นจะมาถึงตัวท่านอย่างไม่คาดคิดเหมือนกับดัก 35เพราะวันนั้นจะมาถึงคนทั้งปวงที่ใช้ชีวิตอยู่บนพื้นโลก 36จงเฝ้าระวังอยู่เสมอและอธิษฐาน เพื่อท่านจะสามารถรอดพ้นจากสิ่งทั้งปวงที่กำลังจะเกิดขึ้น และเพื่อท่านจะสามารถยืนอยู่ต่อหน้าบุตรมนุษย์ได้”
37พระเยซูทรงสอนที่พระวิหารทุกวัน และทุกค่ำคืนก็เสด็จไปประทับแรมที่ภูเขามะกอกเทศ 38คนทั้งปวงจะมาที่พระวิหารตั้งแต่เช้าตรู่เพื่อฟังพระองค์

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
