จงกลับใจใหม่ มิฉะนั้นจะพินาศ
1ขณะนั้นมีบางคนทูลพระเยซูเรื่องชาวกาลิลีกลุ่มหนึ่งซึ่งปีลาตเอาเลือดของพวกเขาผสมกับเครื่องบูชาของพวกเขา 2พระเยซูตรัสตอบว่า “ท่านคิดว่าชาวกาลิลีเหล่านั้นเป็นคนบาปยิ่งกว่าชาวกาลิลีคนอื่นๆ เพราะเขาเผชิญทุกข์ภัยเช่นนี้หรือ? 3เราบอกท่านว่า ไม่ใช่! แต่หากพวกท่านไม่กลับใจใหม่ พวกท่านก็จะพินาศเช่นกัน 4หรืออย่างสิบแปดคนนั้นที่ถูกหอสิโลอัมพังลงมาทับตาย ท่านคิดว่าเขามีความผิดมากกว่าคนอื่นๆ ทั้งปวงที่อาศัยอยู่ในกรุงเยรูซาเล็มหรือ? 5เราบอกท่านว่า ไม่ใช่! แต่หากท่านไม่กลับใจใหม่ พวกท่านก็จะพินาศเช่นกัน”6จากนั้นพระองค์ตรัสคำอุปมาดังนี้ “ชายคนหนึ่งปลูกมะเดื่อต้นหนึ่งไว้ในสวนองุ่น เขาไปหาดูผลแต่ไม่พบ 7เขาจึงบอกคนดูแลสวนองุ่นว่า ‘เรามาหาผลจากต้นมะเดื่อนี้สามปีแล้ว แต่ไม่เคยพบเลย จงโค่นมันทิ้ง! จะปลูกมันให้ดินจืดไปทำไม?’
8“แต่คนดูแลสวนตอบว่า ‘นายเจ้าข้า ขอปล่อยมันไว้อีกปีหนึ่ง ข้าพเจ้าจะพรวนดินใส่ปุ๋ย 9ถ้าปีหน้าให้ผลก็ดีอยู่! แต่ถ้าไม่มีผลก็จะโค่นมันลง’ ”
หญิงหลังโกงหายโรคในวันสะบาโต
10ในวันสะบาโตหนึ่ง ขณะพระเยซูทรงสั่งสอนอยู่ในธรรมศาลา 11ที่นั่นมีหญิงคนหนึ่งถูกผีสิงมาสิบแปดปี หลังโกงยืดตัวตรงไม่ได้เลย 12เมื่อพระเยซูทรงเห็นนางก็ทรงเรียกนางออกมาข้างหน้าและตรัสว่า “หญิงเอ๋ย ท่านหายจากความพิการนี้แล้ว” 13จากนั้นพระองค์ทรงวางพระหัตถ์ทั้งสองบนนาง ทันใดนั้นนางก็ยืดตัวตรงและสรรเสริญพระเจ้า14นายธรรมศาลาไม่พอใจที่พระเยซูทรงรักษาโรคในวันสะบาโตจึงกล่าวกับประชาชนว่า “มีหกวันให้ทำงาน ดังนั้นจงมารับการรักษาในวันเหล่านั้นสิ ไม่ใช่ในวันสะบาโตอย่างนี้”
15องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสตอบเขาว่า “เจ้าคนหน้าซื่อใจคด! เจ้าแต่ละคนก็ปล่อยวัวหรือลาของเจ้าจากคอกและพามันออกไปกินน้ำในวันสะบาโตไม่ใช่หรือ? 16ก็แล้วหญิงคนนี้ผู้เป็นลูกหลานของอับราฮัมถูกซาตานผูกมัดมาตลอดสิบแปดปี ไม่ควรหรือที่จะปลดปล่อยนางให้เป็นอิสระในวันสะบาโต?”
17เมื่อพระองค์ตรัสเช่นนี้ก็ทำให้ปฏิปักษ์ทั้งปวงของพระองค์อับอายขายหน้า แต่ประชาชนยินดีกับสิ่งอัศจรรย์ทั้งปวงที่ทรงกระทำ
คำอุปมาเรื่องเมล็ดมัสตาร์ดและเชื้อขนม

18แล้วพระเยซูตรัสถามว่า “อาณาจักรของพระเจ้าเป็นเหมือนอะไร? เราจะเปรียบเทียบกับอะไรดี? 19ก็เหมือนเมล็ดมัสตาร์ดซึ่งมีคนเอาไปเพาะในสวนของตน มันเติบโตขึ้นเป็นต้นให้นกในอากาศมาเกาะที่กิ่ง”20พระองค์ตรัสถามอีกครั้งว่า “เราจะเปรียบอาณาจักรของพระเจ้ากับอะไรดี? 21ก็เป็นเหมือนเชื้อขนมซึ่งผู้หญิงเอาไปผสมในแป้งกองใหญ่ ▼

22จากนั้นพระเยซูเสด็จไปสั่งสอนทั่วหมู่บ้านและเมืองต่างๆ ขณะทรงมุ่งหน้าไปยังกรุงเยรูซาเล็ม 23บางคนทูลถามพระองค์ว่า “พระองค์เจ้าข้า มีเพียงไม่กี่คนเท่านั้นที่จะรอดหรือ?”พระองค์ตรัสกับพวกเขาว่า 24“จงพยายามทุกวิถีทางที่จะเข้าไปทางประตูแคบ เพราะเราบอกท่านว่า คนเป็นอันมากจะพยายามเข้าไป แต่เข้าไม่ได้ 25เมื่อเจ้าของบ้านตื่นและปิดประตูแล้ว ท่านจะยืนเคาะประตูอยู่ข้างนอกและอ้อนวอนว่า ‘นายเจ้าข้า ขอเปิดประตูให้เราด้วย’
“แต่เขาจะตอบว่า ‘เราไม่รู้จักเจ้า และไม่รู้ว่าเจ้ามาจากไหน’
26“เมื่อนั้นท่านจะกล่าวว่า ‘เราเคยกินดื่มกับท่าน และท่านมาสั่งสอนที่ถนนของพวกเรา’
27“แต่เขาจะตอบว่า ‘เราไม่รู้จักเจ้า และไม่รู้ว่าเจ้ามาจากไหน จงไปให้พ้น เจ้าคนทำชั่วทั้งปวง!’
28“ที่นั่นจะมีการร่ำไห้และขบเขี้ยวเคี้ยวฟัน เมื่อท่านเห็นอับราฮัม อิสอัค และยาโคบ กับผู้เผยพระวจนะทั้งปวงในอาณาจักรของพระเจ้า แต่ตัวท่านเองถูกโยนออกมา 29ผู้คนจากทิศเหนือ ทิศใต้ ตะวันออกและตะวันตก จะเข้ามาประจำที่ของตนที่งานฉลองในอาณาจักรของพระเจ้า 30อันที่จริงบรรดาผู้ที่เป็นคนสุดท้ายจะเป็นคนต้น และคนต้นจะเป็นคนสุดท้าย”

31ครั้งนั้นพวกฟาริสีบางคนมาทูลพระเยซูว่า “ท่านจงออกจากที่นี่ไปที่อื่นเถิด เฮโรดต้องการจะฆ่าท่าน”32พระองค์ตรัสว่า “ไปบอกเจ้าสุนัขจิ้งจอกนั้นว่า ‘เราจะขับผีและรักษาโรคให้ผู้คนในวันนี้และวันพรุ่งนี้ และในวันที่สามเราจะบรรลุเป้าหมายของเรา’ 33อย่างไรก็ตามเราต้องดำเนินต่อไปใน วันนี้ วันพรุ่งนี้ และวันถัดไป เพราะย่อมไม่มีผู้เผยพระวจนะคนใดตายนอกกรุงเยรูซาเล็ม!
34“โอ เยรูซาเล็ม เยรูซาเล็มเอ๋ย เจ้าผู้เข่นฆ่าเหล่าผู้เผยพระวจนะและเอาหินขว้างบรรดาผู้ที่ทรงส่งมาหาเจ้า เราปรารถนาอยู่เนืองๆ ที่จะรวบรวมลูกๆ ของเจ้ามาเหมือนแม่ไก่ที่กกลูกๆ ไว้ใต้ปีก แต่เจ้าไม่ยอมเลย! 35ดูเถิด นิเวศของเจ้าถูกทิ้งร้าง เราบอกเจ้าว่า เจ้าจะไม่ได้เห็นเราอีกจนกว่าเจ้าจะพูดว่า ‘สรรเสริญพระองค์ผู้เสด็จมาในพระนามขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า’ b”

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
