1ในวันสะบาโตหนึ่งพระเยซูกำลังเสด็จผ่านทุ่งนาและเหล่าสาวกของพระองค์ก็เริ่มเด็ดรวงข้าวมาขยี้เอาเมล็ดข้าวกิน 2พวกฟาริสีบางคนจึงถามขึ้นว่า “ทำไมพวกท่านทำสิ่งที่ผิดบัญญัติในวันสะบาโต?”3พระเยซูตรัสตอบเขาว่า “พวกท่านไม่เคยอ่านหรือว่าดาวิดทำอะไรเมื่อเขากับพรรคพวกหิวโหย? 4ดาวิดเข้าไปในพระนิเวศของพระเจ้าและกินขนมปังศักดิ์สิทธิ์ซึ่งตามบทบัญญัติแล้วมีแต่ปุโรหิตเท่านั้นที่จะกินได้ และดาวิดยังแบ่งขนมปังนี้ให้พรรคพวกกินด้วย” 5แล้วพระเยซูตรัสแก่พวกเขาว่า “บุตรมนุษย์เป็นเจ้าเหนือวันสะบาโต”
6อีกวันสะบาโตหนึ่งพระองค์ทรงเข้าไปสั่งสอนในธรรมศาลา ที่นั่นมีชายคนหนึ่งมือขวาลีบ 7พวกฟาริสีกับธรรมาจารย์กำลังหาเหตุที่จะกล่าวโทษพระเยซู จึงคอยจับตาดูอย่างใกล้ชิดว่าพระองค์จะรักษาโรคในวันสะบาโตหรือไม่ 8แต่พระเยซูทรงทราบว่าพวกเขากำลังคิดอะไรอยู่ จึงตรัสกับชายที่มือลีบนั้นว่า “ลุกขึ้นมายืนข้างหน้านี่สิ” เขาจึงลุกขึ้นมายืนที่นั่น
9แล้วพระเยซูตรัสกับพวกเขาว่า “เราถามท่านว่าทำดีหรือทำชั่ว ช่วยชีวิตหรือทำลายชีวิต อย่างไหนที่ถูกต้องตามบทบัญญัติในวันสะบาโต?”
10พระองค์ทรงกวาดสายตามองดูพวกเขาทุกคนและตรัสกับชายคนนั้นว่า “จงเหยียดมือออกมา” เขาก็ทำตามและมือของเขาก็กลับเป็นปกติทุกอย่าง 11แต่พวกนั้นโกรธมากและเริ่มปรึกษากันว่าจะทำอย่างไรกับพระเยซูดี
ทรงแต่งตั้งอัครทูตสิบสองคน

12วันหนึ่งพระเยซูเสด็จไปที่ภูเขาเพื่ออธิษฐานและใช้เวลาอธิษฐานต่อพระเจ้าทั้งคืน 13พอรุ่งเช้าพระองค์ทรงเรียกเหล่าสาวกมาหาพระองค์และเลือกสิบสองคนจากพวกเขา ทรงแต่งตั้งให้เป็นอัครทูต ได้แก่ 14ซีโมน (ซึ่งทรงเรียกว่า เปโตร) อันดรูว์น้องชายของเปโตร ยากอบ ยอห์น ฟีลิป บารโธโลมิว 15มัทธิว โธมัส ยากอบบุตรอัลเฟอัส ซีโมนที่เรียกว่านักชาตินิยม 16ยูดาสบุตรยากอบ และยูดาสอิสคาริโอทผู้กลายเป็นคนทรยศพระพรและวิบัติ

17พระองค์เสด็จลงมากับพวกเขาและยืนอยู่ในที่ราบ มีสาวกกลุ่มใหญ่อยู่ที่นั่น รวมทั้งประชาชนมากมายจากทั่วแคว้นยูเดีย กรุงเยรูซาเล็ม และชายฝั่งเมืองไทระและเมืองไซดอน 18ผู้ซึ่งมาเพื่อจะฟังและเพื่อจะรับการรักษาโรค บรรดาผู้ที่ถูกวิญญาณชั่ว ▼▼ภาษากรีกว่าโสโครก

“ความสุขมีแก่ท่านผู้ขัดสน
เพราะอาณาจักรของพระเจ้าเป็นของท่านแล้ว
21ความสุขมีแก่ท่านผู้หิวโหยอยู่ในขณะนี้
เพราะท่านจะได้อิ่มเอม
ความสุขมีแก่ท่านผู้ร่ำไห้อยู่ในขณะนี้
เพราะท่านจะได้หัวเราะ
22ความสุขมีแก่ท่านเมื่อมนุษย์เกลียดชังท่าน
เมื่อเขาอเปหิและลบหลู่ท่าน
และปฏิเสธนามของท่านประหนึ่งเป็นสิ่งชั่วช้าเพราะบุตรมนุษย์
23“ในวันนั้นจงชื่นชมยินดีและโลดเต้นด้วยความเปรมปรีดิ์เถิดเพราะบำเหน็จของท่านในสวรรค์ยิ่งใหญ่นัก เนื่องจากบรรพบุรุษของเขาได้ปฏิบัติเช่นเดียวกันนั้นกับบรรดาผู้เผยพระวจนะ
24“แต่วิบัติแก่เจ้าผู้มั่งมี
เพราะเจ้าได้รับความสุขสบายแล้ว
25วิบัติแก่เจ้าผู้อิ่มหมีพีมันอยู่ในขณะนี้
เพราะเจ้าจะหิวโหย
วิบัติแก่เจ้าผู้หัวเราะอยู่ในเวลานี้
เพราะเจ้าจะโศกเศร้าและร่ำไห้
26วิบัติแก่เจ้าเมื่อคนทั้งปวงยกย่องเจ้า
เพราะบรรพบุรุษของเขาได้ปฏิบัติเช่นเดียวกันนั้นกับบรรดาผู้เผยพระวจนะเท็จ

27“แต่เราบอกท่านที่ฟังอยู่ว่าจงรักศัตรูของท่าน จงทำดีแก่ผู้ที่เกลียดชังท่าน 28จงอวยพรคนที่แช่งด่าท่าน จงอธิษฐานเผื่อผู้ที่ทำร้ายท่าน 29ถ้าผู้ใดตบแก้มท่าน จงหันแก้มอีกข้างให้เขาด้วย ถ้าผู้ใดเอาเสื้อคลุมของท่านไป จงยอมให้เขาเอาเสื้อของท่านไปด้วย 30จงให้แก่ทุกคนที่ขอท่าน และถ้าใครเอาสิ่งที่เป็นของท่านไป อย่าเรียกร้องสิ่งนั้นกลับคืน 31จงปฏิบัติต่อผู้อื่นอย่างที่ท่านปรารถนาให้เขาปฏิบัติต่อท่าน32“ถ้าท่านรักแต่ผู้ที่รักท่าน ท่านจะน่าสรรเสริญที่ตรงไหน? แม้แต่ ‘คนบาป’ ก็รักคนที่รักเขา 33และถ้าท่านทำดีแก่ผู้ที่ดีต่อท่าน ท่านจะน่าสรรเสริญที่ตรงไหน? แม้แต่ ‘คนบาป’ ก็ทำเช่นนั้น 34และถ้าท่านให้ยืมเฉพาะผู้ที่ท่านคาดว่าจะได้คืนจากเขา จะน่าสรรเสริญที่ตรงไหน? แม้แต่ ‘คนบาป’ ก็ให้ ‘คนบาป’ ยืม โดยคาดหวังว่าจะได้คืนครบถ้วน 35แต่จงรักศัตรูของท่าน จงทำดีต่อเขา และให้เขายืมโดยไม่หวังจะได้อะไรคืนมา แล้วท่านจะได้รับบำเหน็จใหญ่หลวงและจะได้เป็นบุตรขององค์ผู้สูงสุดเพราะพระองค์ทรงกรุณาต่อคนอกตัญญูและคนชั่ว 36จงเมตตากรุณาเช่นเดียวกับที่พระบิดาของท่านทรงเมตตากรุณา

37“อย่าตัดสินแล้วท่านจะไม่ถูกตัดสิน อย่ากล่าวหาแล้วท่านจะไม่ถูกกล่าวหา จงให้อภัยแล้วท่านจะได้รับการอภัย 38จงให้แล้วท่านจะได้รับ และทะนานที่ตวงเต็มยัดสั่นแน่นพูนล้นจะถูกเทลงในตักของท่าน เพราะท่านใช้ทะนานอันใดก็จะใช้ทะนานอันเดียวกันนั้นตวงแก่ท่าน”39พระองค์ยังตรัสคำอุปมานี้แก่เขาอีกว่า “คนตาบอดจะนำทางคนตาบอดได้หรือ? ทั้งคู่จะไม่ตกหลุมหรือ? 40ศิษย์ย่อมไม่เหนือกว่าครูของตน แต่ทุกคนที่ได้รับการฝึกอบรมอย่างสมบูรณ์แล้วจะเป็นเหมือนครูของตน
41“เหตุใดท่านมองดูผงขี้เลื่อยในตาของพี่น้องแต่ไม่ใส่ใจกับไม้ทั้งท่อนในตาของท่านเอง? 42ท่านพูดกับพี่น้องได้อย่างไรว่า ‘พี่น้องเอ๋ย ให้เราเขี่ยผงออกจากตาของท่าน’? ในเมื่อตัวท่านเองไม่เห็นไม้ทั้งท่อนในตาของตนเอง เจ้าคนหน้าซื่อใจคด จงชักไม้ทั้งท่อนออกจากตาของตนก่อนแล้วเจ้าจะเห็นชัด จึงจะเขี่ยผงออกจากตาของพี่น้องได้

43“ต้นไม้ดีย่อมไม่ให้ผลเลวและต้นไม้เลวย่อมไม่ให้ผลดี 44เราจะรู้จักต้นไม้แต่ละต้นได้ด้วยผลของมัน พุ่มหนามย่อมไม่ออกผลเป็นมะเดื่อ หรือกอหนามย่อมไม่ออกผลเป็นองุ่น 45คนดีย่อมนำสิ่งดีออกจากความดีที่สะสมไว้ในใจของตน ส่วนคนชั่วก็นำสิ่งชั่วออกจากความชั่วที่สะสมไว้ในใจของตน เพราะปากย่อมเอ่ยสิ่งที่เอ่อล้นออกมาจากใจคนโง่และคนฉลาด

46“เหตุใดท่านจึงเรียกเราว่า ‘พระองค์เจ้าข้า พระองค์เจ้าข้า’ แต่ไม่ทำตามที่เราบอก? 47เราจะแสดงให้ท่านเห็นว่าผู้ที่มาหาเรา ฟังคำของเรา แล้วนำไปปฏิบัตินั้นเป็นเช่นไร 48เขาเป็นเหมือนคนที่สร้างบ้านผู้ขุดลึกลงไปวางฐานรากบนศิลา เมื่อน้ำท่วมและกระแสน้ำเชี่ยวซัดใส่บ้าน บ้านนั้นก็ไม่สั่นไหวเพราะสร้างไว้อย่างดี 49ส่วนผู้ที่ได้ยินคำของเราแต่ไม่ได้นำไปปฏิบัติก็เป็นเหมือนคนที่สร้างบ้านบนพื้นโดยไม่วางฐานราก เมื่อกระแสน้ำเชี่ยวซัดใส่บ้าน บ้านนั้นก็ล้มครืนและถูกทำลายราบคาบ”

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
