John 19
ตัดสินให้ตรึงพระเยซูบนไม้กางเขน
(มธ.27:27-31; มก.15:16-20)
1จากนั้นปีลาตจึงให้เอาตัวพระเยซูไปโบยตี 2พวกทหารเอาหนามสานเป็นมงกุฎสวมพระเศียรของพระเยซู และให้ทรงเสื้อคลุมสีม่วง 3แล้วเขาเข้ามาหาพระองค์ครั้งแล้วครั้งเล่าและกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่กษัตริย์ของชาวยิว ขอจงทรงพระเจริญ!” และพวกเขาตบพระพักตร์ของพระองค์4ปีลาตออกมาอีกครั้งหนึ่งและกล่าวกับพวกยิวว่า “ดูเถิด เรากำลังนำตัวเขาออกมาให้ท่าน ท่านจะได้รู้ว่าเราไม่พบว่าเขาทำอะไรผิดตามข้อกล่าวหา” 5เมื่อพระเยซูออกมา พระองค์ทรงสวมมงกุฎหนามและเสื้อคลุมสีม่วง ปีลาตกล่าวกับพวกเขาว่า “เขาอยู่ที่นี่แล้ว!”
6ทันทีที่พวกหัวหน้าปุโรหิตและเจ้าหน้าที่เห็นพระองค์ก็ร้องตะโกนว่า “ตรึงกางเขน! ตรึงกางเขน!”
แต่ปีลาตตอบว่า “พวกท่านรับตัวเขาไปตรึงที่ไม้กางเขนเถิด สำหรับเรา เราไม่พบว่าเขาทำอะไรผิด”
7พวกยิวยืนกรานว่า “เรามีบทบัญญัติและตามบทบัญญัตินั้นเขาต้องตายเพราะเขาอ้างตัวเป็นพระบุตรของพระเจ้า”
8เมื่อปีลาตได้ยินเช่นนี้ก็ยิ่งตกใจกลัว 9จึงกลับเข้ามาในวังและทูลถามพระเยซูว่า “ท่านมาจากไหน?” แต่พระเยซูไม่ได้ตรัสตอบ 10ปีลาตกล่าวว่า “ท่านไม่ยอมพูดกับเราหรือ? ท่านไม่รู้หรือว่าเรามีอำนาจที่จะปล่อยตัวท่านหรือตรึงท่านให้ตายที่ไม้กางเขนก็ได้?”
11พระเยซูตรัสตอบว่า “ท่านไม่อาจมีอำนาจเหนือเราหากเบื้องบนไม่ประทานลงมา ฉะนั้นผู้ที่นำตัวเรามามอบให้ท่านก็มีความผิดบาปร้ายแรงกว่า”
12นับแต่นั้นปีลาตก็หาทางปล่อยพระเยซูแต่พวกยิวตะโกนไม่หยุดว่า “ถ้าท่านปล่อยชายคนนี้ท่านก็ไม่ใช่มิตรของซีซาร์ ใครที่อ้างตัวเป็นกษัตริย์ก็เป็นปฏิปักษ์กับซีซาร์”
13เมื่อปีลาตได้ยินเช่นนั้นก็นำตัวพระเยซูออกมาและนั่งบนบัลลังก์พิพากษาในบริเวณที่เรียกกันว่า ลานศิลา (ภาษาอารเมคเรียกว่า กับบาธา) 14วันนั้นเป็นวันเตรียมของสัปดาห์ปัสกา เป็นเวลาราวเที่ยงวัน
ปีลาตกล่าวกับพวกยิวว่า “นี่คือกษัตริย์ของพวกท่าน”
15แต่พวกเขาร้องตะโกนว่า “เอาตัวเขาไป! เอาตัวเขาไป! ตรึงเขาที่ไม้กางเขน!”
ปีลาตถามว่า “จะให้เราตรึงกษัตริย์ของท่านที่ไม้กางเขนหรือ?”
พวกหัวหน้าปุโรหิตตอบว่า “นอกจากซีซาร์แล้วเราไม่มีกษัตริย์”
16ในที่สุดปีลาตก็มอบพระเยซูให้พวกเขาไปตรึงที่ไม้กางเขน
การตรึงที่ไม้กางเขน
(มธ.27:33-44; มก.15:22-32; ลก.23:33-43)
ดังนั้นพวกทหารจึงคุมตัวพระเยซูไป 17พระองค์ทรงแบกกางเขนของพระองค์ไปยังสถานแห่งหัวกระโหลก (ซึ่งในภาษาอารเมคเรียกว่า กลโกธา) 18ที่นั่นเขาตรึงพระองค์บนไม้กางเขนกับอีกสองคนขนาบข้างและพระเยซูทรงอยู่ตรงกลาง19ปีลาตให้เขียนป้ายติดไว้บนกางเขนว่า เยซูชาวนาซาเร็ธ กษัตริย์ของชาวยิว 20พวกยิวหลายคนได้อ่านป้ายนี้เพราะที่ซึ่งพระเยซูถูกตรึงไม้กางเขนนั้นอยู่ใกล้กรุงและป้ายนั้นเขียนไว้เป็นภาษาอารเมค ลาติน และกรีก 21พวกหัวหน้าปุโรหิตของชาวยิวจึงคัดค้านปีลาตว่า “อย่าเขียนว่า ‘กษัตริย์ของชาวยิว’ แต่เขียนว่าชายคนนี้อ้างตัวเป็นกษัตริย์ของชาวยิว”
22ปีลาตตอบว่า “สิ่งที่เราได้เขียนแล้ว ก็ให้เป็นไปตามนั้น”
23เมื่อพวกทหารตรึงพระเยซูที่ไม้กางเขนแล้วก็นำฉลองพระองค์มาแบ่งเป็นสี่ส่วน ได้ไปคนละส่วน เหลือไว้แต่ฉลองพระองค์ชั้นในซึ่งไม่มีตะเข็บทอเป็นผืนเดียวตั้งแต่บนจรดล่าง
24เขาพูดกันว่า “อย่าฉีกแบ่งเลย ให้เราจับฉลากกันว่าใครจะได้เสื้อตัวนี้” ทั้งนี้เพื่อจะเป็นจริงตาม พระคัมภีร์ที่ว่า
“เขาทั้งหลายเอาเครื่องนุ่งห่มของข้าพระองค์มาแบ่งกัน
และเอาเสื้อผ้าของข้าพระองค์มาจับฉลาก” a
พวกทหารทำเช่นนี้แหละ
25ผู้ที่ยืนอยู่ข้างไม้กางเขนของพระเยซูได้แก่มารดาของพระองค์ น้าสาวของพระองค์ มารีย์ภรรยาของโคลปัส และมารีย์ชาวมักดาลา 26เมื่อพระเยซูทรงเห็นมารดาของพระองค์และสาวกที่ทรงรักยืนอยู่ใกล้ๆ พระองค์จึงตรัสกับมารดาของพระองค์ว่า “หญิงที่รักเอ๋ย นี่คือบุตรชายของท่าน” 27และตรัสกับสาวกคนนั้นว่า “นี่คือมารดาของท่าน” ตั้งแต่นั้นมาสาวกคนนี้ก็รับมารดาของพระองค์มาอยู่ที่บ้านของตน
พระเยซูทรงสิ้นพระชนม์

28หลังจากนั้นเมื่อพระองค์ทรงทราบว่าทุกสิ่งสำเร็จครบถ้วนแล้วและเพื่อจะเป็นจริงตามพระคัมภีร์ พระเยซูจึงตรัสว่า “เรากระหายน้ำ” 29ที่นั่นมีภาชนะใส่น้ำองุ่นเปรี้ยวตั้งอยู่ พวกเขาจึงเอาฟองน้ำชุบน้ำองุ่นเปรี้ยวเสียบปลายไม้หุสบชูขึ้นถึงพระโอษฐ์ของพระเยซู 30เมื่อทรงรับน้ำนั้นแล้วพระเยซูก็ตรัสว่า “สำเร็จแล้ว” จากนั้นพระองค์ก้มพระเศียรลงและสิ้นพระชนม์31วันนั้นเป็นวันเตรียมและรุ่งขึ้นจะเป็นวันสะบาโตพิเศษ เนื่องจากพวกยิวไม่ต้องการให้ศพค้างบนไม้กางเขนในช่วงวันสะบาโต จึงขอปีลาตให้ทุบขาผู้ที่ถูกตรึงให้หักและเอาศพลงมา 32ดังนั้นพวกทหารจึงมาทุบขาของชายคนแรกที่ถูกตรึงบนไม้กางเขนด้วยกันกับพระเยซูให้หัก แล้วทุบขาของอีกคนหนึ่งให้หักด้วย 33แต่เมื่อมาถึงพระเยซูพวกเขาพบว่าพระองค์สิ้นพระชนม์แล้วจึงไม่ได้ทุบขาของพระองค์ 34แต่ทหารคนหนึ่งเอาทวนแทงที่สีข้างของพระเยซูโลหิตกับน้ำก็ไหลออกมาทันที 35ผู้ที่เห็นเหตุการณ์ได้เป็นพยานและคำพยานของเขาเป็นความจริง เขารู้ว่าเขาพูดความจริงและเขาเป็นพยานเพื่อว่าท่านทั้งหลายจะเชื่อด้วย 36สิ่งเหล่านี้เกิดขึ้นเพื่อจะเป็นจริงตามพระคัมภีร์ที่ว่า “กระดูกของเขาจะไม่ถูกหักสักชิ้นเดียว” ▼ 37และพระคัมภีร์อีกตอนหนึ่งที่กล่าวว่า “เขาทั้งหลายจะมองดูผู้ที่พวกเขาได้แทง” ▼

38หลังจากนั้นโยเซฟชาวอาริมาเธียได้ไปขอพระศพพระเยซูจากปีลาต โยเซฟเป็นสาวกของพระเยซูแต่ไม่กล้าแสดงตัวเพราะกลัวพวกยิว เมื่อปีลาตอนุญาตแล้วเขาก็มาเชิญพระศพไป 39นิโคเดมัสผู้ซึ่งก่อนหน้านี้เคยมาเข้าเฝ้าพระเยซูในเวลากลางคืนก็มาร่วมด้วยพร้อมทั้งนำเครื่องหอม คือมดยอบผสมกับกฤษณาหนักประมาณ 34 กิโลกรัม ▼▼ภาษากรีกว่า100 ลิตรา
มา 40ทั้งสองเชิญพระศพของพระเยซูลงมา แล้วเอาแถบผ้าลินินพันพระศพพร้อมกับเครื่องหอมตามธรรมเนียมการฝังศพของชาวยิว 41สถานที่ซึ่งพระเยซูถูกตรึงไม้กางเขนนั้นมีสวนแห่งหนึ่งและในสวนนั้นมีอุโมงค์ฝังศพใหม่ที่ยังไม่เคยฝังใครมาก่อน 42เนื่องจากวันนั้นเป็นวันเตรียมของพวกยิวและอุโมงค์ก็อยู่ใกล้ๆ เขาจึงวางพระศพพระเยซูไว้ที่นั่น

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
