เยรูซาเล็มถูกล้อม
1“วิ่งหนีเอาชีวิตรอดเถิด ชาวเบนยามินเอ๋ย!จงหนีจากเยรูซาเล็ม!
จงเป่าแตรในเทโคอา!
ส่งสัญญาณขึ้นเหนือเบธฮัคเคเรม!
เพราะภัยพิบัติโผล่ขึ้นมาจากทางเหนือ
เป็นหายนะร้ายแรง
2เราจะทำลายธิดาแห่งศิโยน ▼
▼คือ ชาวเยรูซาเล็ม เช่นเดียวกับข้อ 23
ผู้งดงามและบอบบางเหลือเกิน
3คนเลี้ยงแกะและฝูงสัตว์ของเขาจะมาต่อสู้เธอ
พวกเขาจะตั้งเต็นท์ล้อมเมือง
แต่ละคนเลี้ยงสัตว์ของเขา”
4“จงเตรียมทำศึกกับศิโยน!
จงลุกขึ้น ให้เราบุกโจมตียามเที่ยงวัน!
แต่อนิจจา กลางวันคล้อยลงแล้ว
และร่มเงาของยามเย็นทอดยาว
5ดังนั้นจงลุกขึ้น ให้เราโจมตีตอนกลางคืน
และทำลายป้อมปราการต่างๆ เสีย!”
6พระยาห์เวห์ผู้ทรงฤทธิ์ตรัสว่า
“จงโค่นต้นไม้
แล้วก่อเชิงเทินเพื่อสู้กับเยรูซาเล็ม
กรุงนี้ต้องถูกลงโทษ
เพราะเต็มไปด้วยการกดขี่ข่มเหง
7ดั่งบ่อน้ำปล่อยน้ำไหลออกมา
กรุงนี้ก็ได้ปล่อยความชั่วร้ายออกมา
ความทารุณอำมหิตและการทำลายล้างดังกระหึ่มในเมืองนี้
ความเจ็บป่วยและบาดแผลของมันมีอยู่ต่อหน้าเราเสมอ
8เยรูซาเล็มเอ๋ย จงรับการเตือน
มิฉะนั้นเราจะเบือนหน้าหนีจากเจ้า
และทำให้ดินแดนของเจ้าถูกทิ้งร้าง
จนไม่มีใครอยู่อาศัยได้”
9พระยาห์เวห์ผู้ทรงฤทธิ์ตรัสว่า
“แม้แต่ชนอิสราเอลที่เหลืออยู่เพียงหยิบมือก็ต้องถูกทำลายซ้ำ
เหมือนคนเก็บองุ่น
ตรวจดูองุ่นแต่ละเถา
เพื่อเก็บพวกที่คลาดสายตาไป”
10จะให้ข้าพเจ้าพูดและเตือนใครได้?
ใครจะฟังข้าพเจ้า?

เหนือกลุ่มคนหนุ่มที่มาชุมนุมกัน
ทั้งสามีและภรรยาก็ไม่เว้น
รวมถึงคนเฒ่าคนแก่ที่ร่วงโรยไป
12บ้านเรือนของเขาจะตกเป็นของคนอื่น
พร้อมทั้งที่นาและภรรยา
เมื่อเรายื่นมือออก
ต่อสู้ประชากรที่อาศัยอยู่ในแผ่นดินนี้”
องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าประกาศดังนี้
13“ตั้งแต่ผู้น้อยที่สุดจนถึงผู้ใหญ่ที่สุด
ล้วนโลภมุ่งกำไร
พวกผู้เผยพระวจนะและปุโรหิตก็ไม่ต่างกัน
ล้วนโกหกหลอกลวง
14พวกเขาทำแผลให้ประชากรของเรา
ราวกับว่าไม่สาหัสรุนแรงเท่าไร
พวกเขากล่าวว่า ‘สันติสุข สันติสุข’
ทั้งๆ ที่ไม่มีสันติสุข
15พวกเขาละอายใจในความประพฤติอันน่าขยะแขยงของตนบ้างหรือเปล่า?
เปล่าเลย พวกเขาไม่ละอายสักนิด
ไม่รู้เลยว่าการมียางอายนั้นเป็นอย่างไร
ฉะนั้นพวกเขาจะล้มลงในหมู่ผู้ที่ล้มลง
เขาจะตกต่ำลงเมื่อเราลงโทษเขา”
องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสดังนั้น
16 องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสว่า
“จงยืนที่ทางแพร่งและมองดู
จงถามถึงหนทางโบราณ
จงถามหาหนทางที่ดีและดำเนินในทางนั้น
แล้วเจ้าจะพบการพักสงบสำหรับจิตใจของเจ้า
แต่เจ้าพูดว่า ‘เราจะไม่ยอมเดินทางสายนั้น’
17เราตั้งยามไว้เหนือเจ้าและกล่าวว่า
‘ฟังเสียงแตรเถิด!’
แต่เจ้าพูดว่า ‘เราจะไม่ฟัง’
18ฉะนั้นจงฟังให้ดี ประชาชาติทั้งหลาย
เหล่าพยานเอ๋ย
จงสังเกตสิ่งที่จะเกิดขึ้นกับเขา
19แผ่นดินโลกเอ๋ย จงฟังเถิด
เรากำลังนำภัยพิบัติมาเหนือชนชาตินี้
เป็นผลจากแผนชั่วของพวกเขาเอง
เพราะพวกเขาไม่ยอมฟังถ้อยคำของเรา
และได้ละทิ้งบทบัญญัติของเรา
20เราแยแสอะไรกับเครื่องหอมจากเชบา
หรือเครื่องเทศอันหอมหวลจากแดนไกล?
เครื่องเผาบูชาของเจ้าไม่เป็นที่ยอมรับ
เครื่องบูชาทั้งหลายของเจ้าไม่ได้ทำให้เราพอใจ”
21ด้วยเหตุนี้องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าจึงตรัสว่า
“เราจะตั้งเครื่องกีดขวางไว้ต่อหน้าชนชาตินี้
ซึ่งจะทำให้ทั้งผู้เป็นบิดาและผู้เป็นบุตรสะดุดล้ม
เพื่อนบ้านและมิตรสหายจะพินาศ”
22 องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสว่า
“ดูเถิด กองทัพจะมา
จากดินแดนทางเหนือ
ชนชาติยิ่งใหญ่กำลังถูกเร่งเร้า
จากทุกมุมโลก
23พวกเขามีทั้งธนูและหอก
โหดเหี้ยมและไร้ความเมตตา
เสียงควบม้าของพวกเขา
เหมือนเสียงทะเลคำราม
พวกเขายกกระบวนทัพมา
เพื่อโจมตีเจ้า ธิดาแห่งศิโยนเอ๋ย”
24เราได้ยินกิตติศัพท์เลื่องลือเกี่ยวกับกองทัพ
ของเขา
แขนขาของเราก็หมดเรี่ยวหมดแรง
ความทุกข์ทรมานเกาะกุมเรา

และเกลือกกลิ้งอยู่ในกองขี้เถ้าเถิด
จงร้องไห้คร่ำครวญอย่างรันทดขมขื่น
เหมือนสูญเสียลูกชายคนเดียวที่มีอยู่
เพราะในทันทีทันใด
ผู้ทำลายล้างจะยกมาโจมตีเรา
27“เราได้ทำให้เจ้าเป็นนักวิเคราะห์แร่
และประชากรของเราเป็นสินแร่
เพื่อเจ้าจะสังเกต
และทดสอบวิถีทางต่างๆ ของพวกเขา
28พวกเขาล้วนเป็นนักกบฏดื้อด้าน
เที่ยวนินทาว่าร้ายไปทั่ว
พวกเขาเป็นเหมือนทองสัมฤทธิ์และเหล็ก

29สูบลมก็สูบอย่างดุเดือด

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
