บาบิโลนคือดาบแห่งการพิพากษาของพระเจ้า
1พระดำรัสขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้ามาถึงข้าพเจ้าความว่า 2“บุตรมนุษย์เอ๋ย จงหันหน้าไปยังเยรูซาเล็ม และกล่าวตำหนิสถานนมัสการ จงพยากรณ์แก่ดินแดนอิสราเอล 3และกล่าวแก่ดินแดนนั้นว่า ‘องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า เราเป็นศัตรูกับเจ้า เราจะชักดาบออกจากฝัก และเอาชีวิตทั้งคนชอบธรรมและคนอธรรมไปจากเจ้า 4เพราะเราจะไม่ไว้ชีวิตทั้งคนชอบธรรมและคนอธรรม เราจะชักดาบออกจากฝักฟาดฟันทุกคนจากเหนือจดใต้ 5แล้วคนทั้งปวงจะรู้ว่าเราผู้เป็นพระยาห์เวห์ได้ชักดาบของเราออกจากฝักและจะไม่เก็บมันเข้าฝักอีก’6“ฉะนั้นบุตรมนุษย์เอ๋ย! จงคร่ำครวญต่อหน้าพวกเขาด้วยหัวใจที่แตกสลายและด้วยความทุกข์ระทมขมขื่น 7และเมื่อพวกเขาถามว่า ‘เจ้าครวญครางทำไม?’ จงกล่าวว่า ‘เพราะข่าวที่มาถึงทำให้หัวใจทุกดวงฝ่อลง ทุกมือก็อ่อนเปลี้ย วิญญาณทุกดวงหมดแรง ทุกเข่าอ่อนปวกเปียกเหมือนน้ำ’ สิ่งนั้นกำลังจะมาถึงแล้ว! จะเกิดขึ้นอย่างแน่นอน พระยาห์เวห์องค์เจ้าชีวิตประกาศดังนั้น”
8พระดำรัสขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้ามาถึงข้าพเจ้าว่า 9“บุตรมนุษย์เอ๋ย จงพยากรณ์ว่า ‘องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า
“ ‘ดาบเล่มหนึ่ง ดาบเล่มหนึ่ง
ลับไว้คมกริบและเปล่งประกายแวววับ
10ลับไว้เพื่อเข่นฆ่า
คมกริบเปล่งประกายดั่งสายฟ้า!
“ ‘ยังจะให้พวกเราชื่นชมยินดีในไม้คทาแห่งยูดาห์ลูกของเราหรือ? ดาบนั้นรังเกียจไม้เช่นนั้นทุกอัน
11“ ‘ดาบถูกลับไว้คมกริบ
กุมไว้มั่นกระชับมือ
ลับให้ขึ้นเงาไว้แล้ว
เตรียมพร้อมอยู่ในมือเพชฌฆาต
12บุตรมนุษย์เอ๋ย จงร้องไห้คร่ำครวญเถิด
เพราะดาบนั้นฟาดฟันประชากรของเรา
มันห้ำหั่นบรรดาเจ้านายของอิสราเอล
พวกเขาตกเป็นเหยื่อคมดาบ
พร้อมกับประชากรของเรา
ฉะนั้นจงตีอกชกตัวตนเอง
13“ ‘การทดสอบจะมาถึงอย่างแน่นอน จะว่าอย่างไรหากคทาแห่งยูดาห์ซึ่งดาบนั้นรังเกียจจะไม่คงอยู่ต่อไป? พระยาห์เวห์องค์เจ้าชีวิตประกาศดังนั้น’
14“ฉะนั้นบุตรมนุษย์เอ๋ย จงพยากรณ์
จงปรบมือของเจ้า
ให้ดาบนั้นฟาดฟันสองครั้ง
หรือสามครั้ง
มันเป็นดาบเพื่อการเข่นฆ่า
คือเป็นดาบสำหรับการเข่นฆ่าครั้งใหญ่
ฟาดฟันพวกเขาจากรอบทิศ
15หัวใจของเขาจึงฝ่อลงด้วยความกลัว
และผู้คนล้มตายเป็นเบือ

18พระดำรัสขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้ามาถึงข้าพเจ้าว่า 19“บุตรมนุษย์เอ๋ย จงกาเครื่องหมายบอกทางสองสายไว้บนแผนที่ เพื่อให้ดาบของกษัตริย์ของบาบิโลนติดตามไป ทั้งสองสายเริ่มต้นจากประเทศเดียวกัน ทำป้ายบอกทางไว้ที่ถนนแยกเข้ากรุง 20จงขีดบอกทางสายหนึ่งไว้ให้ดาบมาฟาดฟันเมืองรับบาห์ของชาวอัมโมน และอีกสายหนึ่งไปฟาดฟันยูดาห์กับเยรูซาเล็มซึ่งมีป้อมปราการ 21เพราะกษัตริย์ของบาบิโลนจะหยุดอยู่ที่ทางแพร่ง ทางแยกของถนนสองสาย เขาจะเสี่ยงทายด้วยการเขย่าลูกธนู จะขอคำตอบจากรูปเคารพของเขา จะตรวจดูตับสัตว์เสี่ยงทาย 22สลากของกรุงเยรูซาเล็มอยู่ในมือขวาของเขา เขาจะตั้งเครื่องกระทุ้งกำแพง ออกคำสั่งให้เข่นฆ่า โห่ร้องออกศึก ใช้เครื่องกระทุ้งกำแพงพังประตู ก่อเชิงเทินและสร้างปราการล้อมเมือง 23สำหรับบรรดาผู้ถวายสัตยาบันเป็นพันธมิตรกับเขา จะรู้สึกว่ามันเป็นการเสี่ยงทายจอมปลอม แต่เขาจะทำให้คนเหล่านั้นระลึกถึงความผิดของตน แล้วก็จับคนเหล่านั้นไปเป็นเชลย
24“ฉะนั้นพระยาห์เวห์องค์เจ้าชีวิตตรัสว่า ‘เนื่องจากพวกเจ้าทำให้นึกถึงความผิดของเจ้า ที่เจ้าได้ทำการทรยศอย่างโจ่งแจ้ง เปิดเผยบาปของตนออกมาในการกระทำทุกอย่าง เพราะเจ้าได้ทำเช่นนี้ เจ้าจึงจะตกเป็นเชลย
25“ ‘เจ้านายแห่งอิสราเอลผู้ชั่วช้าเลวทรามเอ๋ย กำหนดเวลามาถึงเจ้าแล้ว วาระแห่งโทษทัณฑ์ของเจ้ามาถึงที่สุดแล้ว 26พระยาห์เวห์องค์เจ้าชีวิตตรัสดังนี้ว่า จงปลดผ้าโพกศีรษะ จงถอดมงกุฎออก มันจะไม่เหมือนเดิมแล้ว ผู้ต่ำต้อยจะได้รับเกียรติ และผู้ทรงเกียรติจะตกต่ำลง 27หายนะ! หายนะ! เราจะทำให้ถึงความหายนะ! จะไม่ได้กลับสู่สภาพดีจนกว่าผู้มีสิทธิโดยชอบธรรมนั้นจะมา ซึ่งเราจะมอบกรรมสิทธิ์ให้แก่ผู้นั้น’
28“บุตรมนุษย์เอ๋ย จงพยากรณ์และกล่าวว่า ‘พระยาห์เวห์องค์เจ้าชีวิตตรัสเกี่ยวกับชาวอัมโมนและคำสบประมาทของพวกเขาไว้ว่า
“ ‘ดาบเล่มหนึ่ง ดาบเล่มหนึ่ง
ถูกชักออกมาเพื่อการเข่นฆ่า
ลับไว้คมกริบเพื่อคร่าชีวิต
กวัดแกว่งเปล่งประกายดั่งสายฟ้า!
29ทั้งๆ ที่มีนิมิตจอมปลอมเกี่ยวกับเจ้า
และคำทำนายเท็จเรื่องเจ้า
ดาบนั้นก็จ่ออยู่ที่คอของคนชั่ว
ผู้ที่กำลังจะถูกสังหาร
วันของเขามาถึงแล้ว
เวลาแห่งโทษทัณฑ์ของเขามาถึงที่สุดแล้ว
30“ ‘จงเก็บดาบเข้าฝัก
เราจะพิพากษาเจ้า
ในที่ซึ่งเจ้าถูกสร้างขึ้น
ในดินแดนของบรรพบุรุษของเจ้า
31เราจะระบายโทสะลงเหนือเจ้า
เราจะพ่นความเกรี้ยวกราดร้อนแรงใส่เจ้า
เราจะมอบเจ้าไว้ในมือของคนอำมหิต
ผู้ช่ำชองในการทำลายล้าง
32เจ้าจะเป็นเชื้อฟืนให้ไฟ
เลือดของเจ้าจะหลั่งชโลมในดินแดนของเจ้า
จะไม่มีใครจดจำเจ้าอีก
เพราะเราผู้เป็นพระยาห์เวห์ได้ลั่นวาจาไว้’ ”

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
