Exodus 8
1องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสกับโมเสสว่า “จงไปหาฟาโรห์และบอกเขาว่า ‘องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า จงปล่อยประชากรของเราไปเพื่อพวกเขาจะได้นมัสการเรา 2ถ้าเจ้าไม่ยอม เราจะส่งฝูงกบขึ้นมารังควานทั่วดินแดนของเจ้า 3จะมีกบเต็มแม่น้ำไนล์ มันจะกรูกันเข้าไปในวัง ในห้องนอนจนถึงบนเตียงของเจ้า และมันจะเข้าไปในบ้านของเหล่าข้าราชการของเจ้า และบนตัวประชากรของเจ้า มันจะเข้าไปในเตาปิ้งขนมและอ่างผสมแป้งของเจ้า 4ฝูงกบนั้นจะขึ้นมาที่ตัวเจ้าและข้าราชการกับราษฎรของเจ้า’ ” 5แล้วองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสกับโมเสสว่า “เจ้าจงบอกอาโรนว่า ‘ท่านจงชูไม้เท้าขึ้นเหนือแม่น้ำ ห้วย หนอง คลอง บึง แล้วจะมีกบขึ้นทั่วแดนอียิปต์’ ”6ดังนั้นอาโรนจึงยื่นมือออกเหนือห้วงน้ำของอียิปต์ แล้วกบก็ขึ้นมาจนเต็มแผ่นดิน 7แต่พวกนักเล่นอาคมก็ใช้ศาสตร์อันลี้ลับของตนทำให้กบขึ้นมาบนแผ่นดินอียิปต์ได้ด้วยเหมือนกัน
8ฟาโรห์รับสั่งให้โมเสสและอาโรนมาเข้าเฝ้าแล้วตรัสว่า “ช่วยวิงวอนองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าให้เอากบออกไปจากเราและประชากรของเรา แล้วเราจะปล่อยประชากรของเจ้าออกไปถวายเครื่องบูชาแด่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า”
9โมเสสทูลฟาโรห์ว่า “โปรดบอกข้าพระบาทว่าฝ่าพระบาทประสงค์จะให้ข้าพระบาทอธิษฐานกำจัดกบออกจากพระราชวังของฝ่าพระบาท บ้านเรือนของข้าราชการและประชากรของฝ่าพระบาทเมื่อใด ยกเว้นกบที่ยังคงมีอยู่ในแม่น้ำไนล์”
10ฟาโรห์ตรัสว่า “วันพรุ่งนี้”
โมเสสทูลตอบว่า “จะเป็นไปตามที่ฝ่าพระบาทตรัส เพื่อฝ่าพระบาทจะได้ทราบว่าไม่มีผู้ใดเสมอเหมือนพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของข้าพระบาททั้งหลาย 11ฝูงกบจะไปจากฝ่าพระบาท บ้านเรือนของพวกฝ่าพระบาท ข้าราชการและประชากรของฝ่าพระบาท แต่มันจะอยู่ในแม่น้ำไนล์เท่านั้น”
12หลังจากโมเสสกับอาโรนกลับออกมาจากการเข้าเฝ้าฟาโรห์แล้ว โมเสสร้องทูลองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าเกี่ยวกับฝูงกบที่พระองค์ทรงนำมายังฟาโรห์ 13และองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงกระทำตามคำทูลของโมเสส กบตายเกลื่อนบ้านเกลื่อนลานและทุ่งนา 14ชาวอียิปต์เอากบตายมาสุมเป็นกองพะเนิน ส่งกลิ่นเหม็นตลบทั่วดินแดน 15แต่เมื่อฟาโรห์ทรงเห็นว่าความทุกข์ร้อนบรรเทาลงแล้วก็กลับมีพระทัยแข็งกระด้างไม่ยอมรับฟังโมเสสกับอาโรนอีก เป็นไปตามที่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสไว้
ภัยพิบัติจากริ้น
16 องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสกับโมเสสว่า “เจ้าจงบอกอาโรนว่า ‘ท่านจงยื่นไม้เท้าออกและตีฝุ่นบนพื้นดิน’ แล้วฝุ่นทั่วดินแดนอียิปต์จะกลายเป็นริ้น” 17พวกเขาก็ทำเช่นนั้น และเมื่ออาโรนยื่นมือข้างที่ถือไม้เท้าออกแล้วตีฝุ่นบนพื้นดิน ฝุ่นทั่วดินแดนอียิปต์ก็กลายเป็นฝูงริ้นขึ้นมาตอมคนและสัตว์ 18แต่เมื่อพวกนักเล่นอาคมพยายามจะใช้ศาสตร์อันลี้ลับของตนทำเลียนแบบก็ทำไม่ได้ ริ้นตอมทั้งคนและสัตว์19นักเล่นอาคมจึงทูลฟาโรห์ว่า “นี่เป็นผลจากนิ้วพระหัตถ์ของพระเจ้า” แต่ฟาโรห์พระทัยแข็งกระด้างไม่ยอมฟัง เป็นไปตามที่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสไว้

20 องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสกับโมเสสว่า “เจ้าจงลุกขึ้นแต่เช้ามืดไปคอยพบฟาโรห์ที่ริมฝั่งแม่น้ำและบอกเขาว่า ‘องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า จงปล่อยประชากรของเราไปเพื่อพวกเขาจะได้นมัสการเรา 21ถ้าเจ้าไม่ยอมปล่อยประชากรของเราไป เราจะส่งฝูงเหลือบมาตอมตัวเจ้า ตอมข้าราชการและราษฎรของเจ้า และเข้าไปในวังในบ้านของพวกเจ้า บ้านของชาวอียิปต์ และแม้แต่พื้นดินก็จะเต็มไปด้วยฝูงเหลือบ22“ ‘แต่ในวันนั้นเราจะทำกับดินแดนโกเชนที่ประชากรของเราอาศัยอยู่ต่างออกไป ที่นั่นจะไม่มีฝูงเหลือบเลย เพื่อเจ้าจะได้รู้ว่าเราคือองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าสถิตอยู่เหนือแผ่นดินนี้ 23เราจะแยกให้เห็นความแตกต่าง ▼

25แล้วฟาโรห์จึงรับสั่งให้โมเสสกับอาโรนมาเข้าเฝ้าแล้วตรัสว่า “จงไปถวายเครื่องบูชาแด่พระเจ้าของเจ้าในดินแดนนี้”
26แต่โมเสสทูลว่า “การทำเช่นนั้นไม่ถูกต้อง เครื่องบูชาที่พวกข้าพระบาทถวายแด่พระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของข้าพระบาทเป็นที่รังเกียจของชาวอียิปต์ และหากพวกข้าพระบาทถวายเครื่องบูชาซึ่งเป็นที่น่ารังเกียจในสายตาของพวกเขาที่นี่ จะไม่ถูกพวกเขาเอาหินขว้างตายหรือ? 27ข้าพระบาททั้งหลายจำเป็นต้องเดินทางสามวันเข้าไปในถิ่นกันดารเพื่อถวายเครื่องบูชาแด่พระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของข้าพระบาทที่นั่นตามที่พระเจ้าทรงบัญชา”
28ฟาโรห์ตรัสว่า “เราจะให้พวกเจ้าไปถวายเครื่องบูชาแด่พระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของเจ้าในถิ่นกันดาร แต่ว่าพวกเจ้าอย่าไปไกลนัก บัดนี้จงอ้อนวอนพระเจ้าเพื่อเราด้วย”
29แล้วโมเสสทูลว่า “ทันทีที่จากไป ข้าพระบาทจะกราบทูลองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าและในวันพรุ่งนี้ฝูงเหลือบจะไปจากฝ่าพระบาท ข้าราชการและประชากรของฝ่าพระบาท แต่ขอฝ่าพระบาทอย่าได้ทรงกลับคำมั่นที่จะปล่อยชนอิสราเอลออกไปถวายเครื่องบูชาแด่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าอีก”
30แล้วโมเสสจึงทูลลาฟาโรห์และอธิษฐานต่อองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า 31องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงกระทำตามที่โมเสสทูลขอ ฝูงเหลือบก็ละจากฟาโรห์ ข้าราชการ และราษฎรของพระองค์ ไม่เหลือเหลือบแม้สักตัวเดียว 32แต่ครั้งนี้ก็เช่นกัน ฟาโรห์มีพระทัยแข็งกระด้างอีกและไม่ยอมปล่อยชนอิสราเอลไป

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
