โยสิยาห์ทรงฉลองปัสกา
(2พกษ.23:21-23)
1โยสิยาห์ทรงฉลองปัสกาถวายแด่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าในกรุงเยรูซาเล็ม มีการฆ่าแกะปัสกา ในวันที่สิบสี่เดือนที่หนึ่ง 2พระองค์ทรงแต่งตั้งปุโรหิตให้เข้าประจำหน้าที่ และสนับสนุนให้รับใช้ในงานพระวิหารขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า 3พระองค์ตรัสกับคนเลวีผู้สั่งสอนชนอิสราเอลทั้งปวงและผู้ชำระตนถวายแก่ องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าแล้วนั้นว่า “จงเก็บหีบพันธสัญญาอันบริสุทธิ์ศักดิ์สิทธิ์ไว้ในพระวิหารซึ่งโซโลมอนโอรสของกษัตริย์ดาวิดแห่งอิสราเอลสร้างขึ้น ไม่ต้องหามขึ้นบ่า บัดนี้จงปรนนิบัติพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของท่านและปรนนิบัติอิสราเอลประชากรของพระองค์ 4จงเตรียมตัวทำหน้าที่ตามครอบครัวเป็นหมู่เหล่า ตามที่กษัตริย์ดาวิดแห่งอิสราเอลและโซโลมอนราชโอรสกำหนดไว้เถิด5“ให้คนเลวีแต่ละกลุ่มประจำหน้าที่ในวิสุทธิสถานเพื่อปรนนิบัติพี่น้องร่วมชาติตามกลุ่มครอบครัวแต่ละกลุ่มที่ได้แบ่งไว้ 6จงฆ่าแกะปัสกา ชำระตน และเตรียมลูกแกะเพื่อพี่น้องร่วมชาติของท่าน ซึ่งเป็นการปฏิบัติตามที่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงบัญชาไว้ผ่านทางโมเสส”
7โยสิยาห์ทรงเตรียมลูกแกะลูกแพะเพื่อเป็นเครื่องบูชาปัสกาสามหมื่นตัว และวัวผู้สามพันตัว จากทรัพย์สินส่วนพระองค์สำหรับประชาชนทุกคนที่นั่น
8ข้าราชบริพารของกษัตริย์ก็มอบของด้วยความสมัครใจแก่ประชาชน ปุโรหิต และคนเลวี ส่วนฮิลคียาห์ เศคาริยาห์ และเยฮีเอล เจ้าหน้าที่พระวิหารของพระเจ้ามอบลูกแกะลูกแพะ 2,600 ตัว และวัวผู้ 300 ตัวแก่ปุโรหิตเป็นเครื่องบูชาปัสกา 9บรรดาผู้นำของคนเลวีได้แก่ โคนานิยาห์ กับเชไมอาห์และเนธันเอลน้องชายของเขา และฮาชาบิยาห์ เยอีเอล และโยซาบาดมอบลูกแกะลูกแพะปัสกาห้าพันตัวกับวัวผู้ห้าร้อยตัวแก่คนเลวี
10เมื่อเตรียมทุกอย่างเรียบร้อย และปุโรหิตทั้งหลายเข้าประจำที่ของตน พร้อมทั้งคนเลวีได้เข้ากลุ่มปฏิบัติงานตามหมู่เหล่าดังที่กษัตริย์ตรัสบัญชาไว้แล้ว 11ก็ฆ่าลูกแกะปัสกา ส่งเลือดให้ปุโรหิตประพรม ขณะที่คนเลวีถลกหนังสัตว์ 12พวกเขาแยกเครื่องเผาบูชาเพื่อมอบให้ตระกูลต่างๆ เพื่อให้ประชาชนถวายแด่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตามที่บันทึกไว้ในบทบัญญัติของโมเสส พวกเขาก็ทำอย่างเดียวกันกับวัวผู้ 13พวกเขาย่างสัตว์ปัสกาตามที่ระบุไว้ และต้มของถวายอันบริสุทธิ์ในหม้อ กระทะ ภาชนะต่างๆ แล้วรีบนำออกไปให้ประชากรทั้งปวงรับประทาน 14หลังจากนั้นคนเลวีก็จัดเตรียมสำหรับตนเองกับปุโรหิต เพราะปุโรหิตวงศ์วานอาโรนง่วนอยู่กับการถวายเครื่องเผาบูชาและไขมันเครื่องบูชาจนค่ำ ดังนั้นคนเลวีจึงจัดเตรียมอาหารสำหรับตนเองและปุโรหิตวงศ์วานของอาโรน

16ครั้งนั้นงานรับใช้องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทั้งสิ้นในการฉลองปัสกาและถวายเครื่องเผาบูชาบนแท่นบูชาแด่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าได้สำเร็จลุล่วงตามที่กษัตริย์โยสิยาห์ทรงบัญชา 17ชนอิสราเอลซึ่งอยู่ที่นั่นร่วมฉลองปัสกา และต่อด้วยเทศกาลขนมปังไม่ใส่เชื้ออีกเจ็ดวัน 18นับตั้งแต่ครั้งผู้เผยพระวจนะซามูเอล ไม่เคยมีการฉลองปัสกาในอิสราเอลเหมือนครั้งนั้นเลย ไม่มีกษัตริย์องค์ใดของอิสราเอลฉลองปัสกาเหมือนโยสิยาห์ร่วมกับปุโรหิต คนเลวี ชนยูดาห์และอิสราเอลทั้งปวงที่อาศัยอยู่กับประชาชนในกรุงเยรูซาเล็ม 19การฉลองนี้มีขึ้นในปีที่สิบแปดแห่งรัชกาลโยสิยาห์

20หลังจากที่โยสิยาห์ทรงจัดระเบียบพระวิหารเรียบร้อยแล้ว กษัตริย์เนโคแห่งอียิปต์ยกทัพมาที่คารเคมิชริมแม่น้ำยูเฟรติส และโยสิยาห์กรีธาทัพออกไปรบกับพระองค์ 21แต่เนโคส่งผู้นำสาส์นมายังโยสิยาห์ความว่า “กษัตริย์ยูดาห์ ท่านและข้าพเจ้ามีเรื่องราวบาดหมางอะไรกันหรือ? ข้าพเจ้าไม่ได้ยกทัพมาโจมตีท่านในครั้งนี้ แต่ข้าพเจ้ามารบกับศัตรูที่ขับเคี่ยวกันอยู่ พระเจ้าได้ตรัสสั่งให้ข้าพเจ้ารีบเร่ง ดังนั้นจงอย่าขัดขวางพระเจ้าผู้สถิตกับข้าพเจ้า มิฉะนั้นพระองค์จะทรงทำลายท่าน”22แต่โยสิยาห์ไม่ยอมถอยทัพ กลับปลอมตัวเข้าสู่สงครามในที่ราบเมกิดโด โยสิยาห์ไม่ยอมฟังพระบัญชาของพระเจ้าที่ตรัสผ่านเนโค
23พลธนูยิงถูกกษัตริย์โยสิยาห์ พระองค์ทรงร้องบอกทหารว่า “พาเราออกไปที เราบาดเจ็บมาก” 24พวกเขาจึงประคองพระองค์ลงจากรถม้าศึกของพระองค์ แล้วขึ้นรถม้าศึกอีกคันกลับสู่เยรูซาเล็ม โยสิยาห์ก็สิ้นพระชนม์ พระศพถูกฝังไว้ในสุสานบรรพบุรุษของพระองค์ ทั่วทั้งยูดาห์และกรุงเยรูซาเล็มพากันไว้อาลัย
25เยเรมีย์แต่งบทเพลงคร่ำครวญไว้อาลัยแด่โยสิยาห์ และคณะนักร้องชายหญิงทุกคนยังคงขับร้องเพลงไว้อาลัยโยสิยาห์ตราบจนทุกวันนี้ซึ่งกลายเป็นประเพณีในอิสราเอล และมีบันทึกไว้ในประมวลบทเพลงคร่ำครวญ

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
