Parurusahan ng Dios ang Lebanon at Bashan
1Kayong mga taga-Lebanon, buksan ninyo ang mga pintuan ng inyong lungsod at nang makapasok ang apoy na susunog sa inyong mga puno ng sedro. 2Kung paanong nasira ang inyong mga magaganda at mayayabong na mga puno ng sedro, ganoon din masisira ang mga puno ng sipres ▼▼sipres: o, pine tree.

4Ito ang sinabi ng Panginoon kong Dios: “Alagaan mo ang mga tupang ▼▼mga tupang: Ang ibig sabihin, mga taga-Israel.

at sila rin ay galit sa akin. 9Pagkatapos, sinabi ko sa mga tupa, “Hindi na ako ang inyong pastol. Hayaang mamatay ang mga naghihingalo at mapahamak ang mga mapapahamak. At ang mga matitira ay hayaang kainin ang laman ng isaʼt isa.” 10Pagkatapos, kinuha ko ang tungkod na tinatawag na Kabutihan at binali ko upang ipahiwatig na ipinawalang-bisa ng Panginoon ang kanyang kasunduan sa mga tao. 11Kaya ng araw ding iyon, ipinawalang-bisa ang kasunduan. Sa Hebreo, mamamalayok. Ganito rin sa talatang 13b.

Pinababayaan niya ang mga tupa! Sa pamamagitan ng espada ay puputulin ang kanyang kamay at tutusukin ang kanang mata niya, at hindi na mapapakinabangan ang kamay niya at hindi na rin makakakita ang kanang mata niya.”

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
