28Ang iba pang mamamayan ng Israel, pati na ang mga pari, mga Levita, mga guwardya ng mga pintuan ng templo, mga mang-aawit, mga utusan sa templo, at ang lahat ng nakahiwalay sa mga dayuhang nakatira sa lupain namin para sumunod sa Kautusan ng Dios, maging ang mga asawa nila at ang mga batang nakakaunawa na 29ay nanumpa kasama ng aming mga pinuno, na aming tutuparin ang Kautusan na ibinigay ng Dios sa pamamagitan ng lingkod niyang si Moises. Nanumpa rin kami na tatanggapin namin ang sumpa ng Dios kung hindi namin matutupad ang pangakong susundin namin ang lahat ng utos at tuntunin ng Panginoon na aming Dios. 30Nangako kami na hindi namin papayagang makapag-asawa ang mga anak namin ng mga dayuhang naninirahan sa aming lupain. 31Nangako rin kami na hindi kami bibili kung ipagbibili ng mga dayuhan ang trigo nila o kahit anong ipinagbibili sa Araw ng Pamamahinga o sa ibang banal na araw. At tuwing ikapitong taon, hindi kami magtatanim sa aming lupain, at hindi na namin sisingilin ang mga may utang sa amin.32Nangako pa kami na tutuparin namin ang utos na magbibigay kami bawat taon ng apat na gramong pilak para sa gawain sa templo ng aming Dios. 33Nakalaan ito para sa tinapay na inihahandog sa presensya ng Dios, sa mga handog na sinusunog at mga handog bilang pagpaparangal sa Panginoon na inihahandog araw-araw, sa mga handog para sa Araw ng Pamamahinga, para sa Pista ng Pagsisimula ng Buwan, ▼

at sa iba pang mga pista; maging sa iba pang mga banal na handog tulad ng handog sa paglilinis na inihahandog upang matubos ang mga mamamayan ng Israel sa kanilang mga kasalanan. Ginagamit din ang perang ito sa iba pang mga pangangailangan sa templo ng aming Dios. 34Nagpalabunutan kaming lahat, pati ang mga pari namin at mga Levita, para malaman kung kailan magdadala ng panggatong ang bawat pamilya bawat taon para gamitin sa mga handog sa altar ng Panginoon na aming Dios, ayon sa nasusulat sa Kautusan. 35Nangako rin kami na dadalhin namin bawat taon sa templo ng Panginoon ang unang ani ng aming bukirin at ang unang bunga ng aming mga tanim. 36Dadalhin din namin sa mga pari na naglilingkod sa templo ng aming Dios ang aming panganay na anak na lalaki, pati ang unang anak ng aming mga baka, tupa, at kambing, ayon sa nasusulat sa Kautusan.
37 Nangako pa kami na dadalhin namin sa mga pari ang pinakamagandang klase ng aming harina at ang iba pang mga handog bilang pagpaparangal sa Panginoon, para ilagay sa bodega ng templo ng Dios. Dadalhin din namin ang pinakamabuti naming mga prutas, at ang bagong katas ng ubas at langis ng olibo. Dadalhin din namin sa mga Levita ang ikapu ng aming mga ani, dahil sila ang nangongolekta ng mga ikapu sa lahat ng baryo na may mga sakahan. Kapag mangongolekta ng ikapu ang mga Levita, 38sinasamahan sila ng mga pari mula sa angkan ni Aaron. At ang ikapu ng nakolekta ay dadalhin ng mga Levita sa bodega ng templo ng aming Dios. 39Ang mga Israelita, pati na ang mga Levita ay dapat magdala ng mga handog na trigo, bagong katas ng ubas at langis sa bodega kung saan nakalagay ang mga kagamitan ng templo at kung saan nakatira ang mga pari na naglilingkod, ang mga guwardya ng mga pintuan ng templo, at ang mga mang-aawit.
Kaya nangako kami na hindi namin pababayaan ang templo ng aming Dios.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
