1Ang mga sumusunod ay ang mga Israelita sa probinsya ng Juda na binihag noon ni Haring Nebucadnezar at dinala sa Babilonia. Ngayon umalis na sila sa lugar na iyon at bumalik na sa Jerusalem at sa sarili nilang mga bayan sa Juda. 2Ang mga namuno sa pagbalik nila sa Jerusalem ay sina Zerubabel, Jeshua, Nehemias, Seraya, Reelaya, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, at Baana.Ito ang talaan ng mga mamamayan ng Israel na bumalik mula sa pagkabihag:

59– 60May 652 din na bumalik sa Juda mula sa mga bayan ng Tel Mela, Tel Harsha, Kerub, Adon, at Imer. Sila ang mga angkan nina Delaya, Tobia, at Nekoda, pero hindi nila mapatunayan na silaʼy talagang mga Israelita.
61Hindi rin mapatunayan ng mga angkan nina Hobaya, Hakoz at Barzilai na mga pari sila. (Nang nag-asawa si Barzilai, dinala niya ang pangalan ng biyenan niyang si Barzilai na taga-Gilead.) 62Dahil nga hindi nila makita ang talaan ng mga ninuno nila, hindi sila tinanggap na mga pari. 63Pinagbawalan sila ng gobernador ng Juda na kumain ng mga pagkaing inihandog sa Dios habang walang pari na sasangguni sa Panginoon tungkol sa pagkapari nila sa pamamagitan ng “Urim” at “Thummim”. ▼

Ang kabuuang bilang ng mga bumalik mula sa pagkabihag ay 42,360, maliban sa 7,337 na mga alipin nila, at 200 lalaki at babaeng mang-aawit. May dala silang 736 na mga kabayo, 245 mola, ▼▼mola: sa Ingles, “mule.” Hayop na parang kabayo.
435 kamelyo, at 6,720 asno. 68Pagdating nila sa templo ng Panginoon sa Jerusalem, ang ibang mga pinuno ng mga pamilya ay nagbigay ng kusang-loob na tulong sa muling pagpapatayo ng templo sa dati nitong pinagtayuan. 69Nagbigay sila ayon sa makakaya nila para sa gawaing ito. At ang kabuuang natipon nila ay mga 500 kilong ginto, mga 3,000 kilong pilak, at 100 pirasong kasuotan para sa mga pari. 70Ang bawat isa sa kanila ay bumalik sa kani-kanilang bayan, pati na ang mga pari, ang mga Levita, ang mga mang-aawit, ang mga guwardya ng mga pintuan ng templo, at ang mga utusan sa templo.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
