Exodus 6
1Sinabi ng Panginoon kay Moises, “Makikita mo ngayon kung ano ang gagawin ko sa Faraon. Dahil sa kapangyarihan ko, papayagan niyang umalis kayo sa bayan niya. Itataboy pa nga niya kayo.”2Sinabi pa ng Dios kay Moises, “Ako ang Panginoon. 3Nagpakita ako kina Abraham, Isaac, at Jacob bilang Makapangyarihang Dios, pero hindi ko ipinakilala sa kanila ang pangalan kong Panginoon. 4Gumawa ako ng kasunduan sa kanila, na ibibigay ko sa kanila ang lupain ng Canaan kung saan sila nanirahan bilang mga dayuhan. 5Narinig ko ang hinaing ng mga Israelita na inaalipin ng mga Egipcio at inalala ko ang kasunduan ko sa kanila.
6“Kaya sabihin mo sa mga Israelita: ‘Ako ang Panginoon. Palalayain ko kayo sa pagkaalipin sa Egipto. Sa pamamagitan ng aking kapangyarihan, matinding parusa ang ibibigay ko sa mga Egipcio, at ililigtas ko kayo sa pagkaalipin. 7Ituturing ko kayong mga mamamayan at akoʼy magiging Dios ninyo. At malalaman ninyo na ako ang Panginoon na inyong Dios na nagligtas sa inyo sa pagkaalipin sa Egipto. 8Dadalhin ko kayo sa lupaing ipinangako kong ibibigay kina Abraham, Isaac, at Jacob. Ibibigay ko ito sa inyo bilang pag-aari ninyo. Ako ang Panginoon.’ ”
9Sinabi ito ni Moises sa mga Israelita pero hindi sila naniwala sa kanya dahil nawalan na sila ng pag-asa sa sobrang pagpapahirap sa kanila bilang mga alipin.
10Sinabi ng Panginoon kay Moises, 11“Lumakad ka at sabihin sa Faraon na hari ng Egipto na payagan na niyang umalis ang mga Israelita sa bayan niya.”
12Pero sinabi ni Moises sa Panginoon, “Kung ang mga Israelita nga poʼy hindi nakikinig sa akin, ang Faraon pa kaya? Lalo naʼt hindi ako magaling magsalita!”
13Sinabi ng Panginoon kina Moises at Aaron, “Sabihin ninyo sa mga Israelita at sa Faraon na hari ng Egipto na inutusan ko kayong pangunahan ang mga Israelita para lumabas ng Egipto.”
Ang mga Ninuno nina Moises at Aaron
14Ito ang mga ninuno ng mga sambahayan na nagmula sa lahi ng Israel:Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Reuben, na panganay na anak ni Israel ay sina Hanoc, Palu, Hezron at Carmi. Sila at ang mga pamilya nila ay ang mga angkan na nagmula kay Reuben.
15Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Simeon ay sina Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jakin, Zohar at Shaul. (Si Shaul ang anak ni Simeon sa isang Cananea.) Sila at ang mga pamilya nila ay ang mga angkan na nagmula kay Simeon.
16Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Levi ayon sa kasaysayan ng lahi niya ay sina Gershon, Kohat at Merari. Nabuhay si Levi ng 137 taon.
17Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Gershon ay sina Libni at Shimei.
18Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Kohat ay sina Amram, Izar, Hebron at Uziel. Nabuhay si Kohat ng 133 taon.
19Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Merari ay sina Mahli at Mushi. Ang mga angkan nila ay nagmula kay Levi ayon sa kasaysayan ng lahi niya.
20Napangasawa ni Amram si Jochebed na kapatid ng kanyang ama. Ang kanilang mga anak na lalaki ay sina Aaron at Moises. Nabuhay si Amram ng 137 taon.
21Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Izar ay sina Kora, Nefeg at Zicri.
22Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Uziel ay sina Mishael, Elzafan at Sitri.
23Napangasawa ni Aaron si Elisheba na anak ni Aminadab at kapatid ni Nashon. Ang mga anak nilang lalaki ay sina Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar at Itamar.
24Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Kora ay sina Asir, Elkana at Abiasaf. Sila at ang mga pamilya nila ay ang mga angkan nagmula kay Kora.
25Si Eleazar na anak ni Aaron ay nakapag-asawa ng isa sa mga anak ni Putiel. Ang kanilang anak na lalaki ay si Finehas.
Sila ang mga ninuno ng pamilyang nagmula kay Levi.
26Ang Aaron at Moises na nabanggit sa listahang ito ay ang Aaron at Moises na inutusan ng Panginoon na manguna sa pagpapalaya ng bawat lahi ng Israel sa Egipto. 27Sila ang nakipag-usap sa Faraon na hari ng Egipto na palayain ang mga Israelita sa Egipto.

28Nang nakikipag-usap ang Panginoon kay Moises sa Egipto, 29sinabi niya kay Moises, “Ako ang Panginoon. Sabihin ninyo sa Faraon na hari ng Egipto ang lahat ng sinabi ko sa iyo.”30Pero sinabi ni Moises sa Panginoon, “Hindi po ako magaling magsalita, kaya hindi makikinig ang Faraon sa akin.”

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
