Ang Awit ni Moises
1Umawit si Moises at ang mga Israelita ng awit sa Panginoon:“Aawitan ko ang Panginoon dahil lubos siyang nagtagumpay.
Itinapon niya sa dagat ang mga kabayo at ang mga sakay nito.
2Ang Panginoon ang nagbibigay sa akin ng lakas,
at siya ang aking awit.
Siya ang nagligtas sa akin.
Siya ang aking Dios, at pupurihin ko siya.
Siya ang Dios ng aking ama, ▼

at itataas ko siya.3 Panginoon ang kanyang pangalan, isa siyang mandirigma.
4Itinapon niya sa dagat ang mga karwahe at mga sundalo ng Faraon.
Nalunod ang pinakamagagaling na opisyal ng Faraon sa Dagat na Pula.
5Nalunod sila sa malalim na tubig;
lumubog sila sa kailaliman katulad ng isang bato.
6“Dakila ang kapangyarihan nʼyo, O Panginoon;
sa pamamagitan nito, dinurog nʼyo ang inyong mga kaaway.
7Sa inyong kapangyarihan, ibinagsak nʼyo ang mga kumakalaban sa inyo.
Ipinadama nʼyo sa kanila ang inyong galit na siyang tumupok sa kanila na parang dayami.
8Sa isang ihip nʼyo lang, nahati ang tubig.
Ang dumadaluyong na tubig ay nahati at tumayo na parang pader;
natuyo ang malalim na dagat.
9Sinabi ng nagyayabang na kaaway,
‘Hahabulin ko sila at huhulihin;
paghahati-hatiin ko ang kanilang mga kayamanan at bubusugin ko nito ang aking sarili.
Bubunutin ko ang aking espada at lilipulin sila.’
10Pero sa isang ihip nʼyo lang, nalunod sila sa dagat.
Lumubog sila sa kailaliman kagaya ng tingga.
11O Panginoon, sino po ba ang dios na katulad nʼyo?
Wala kayong katulad sa kabanalan at kapangyarihan.
Kayo lang po ang Dios na gumagawa ng mga kamangha-manghang bagay!
12Sa pamamagitan ng inyong kapangyarihan, ▼

nilamon ng lupa ang aming mga kaaway. 13“Sa pamamagitan ng walang tigil nʼyong pagmamahal, gagabayan nʼyo ang inyong mga iniligtas.
Sa pamamagitan ng inyong lakas, gagabayan nʼyo sila sa banal nʼyong tahanan.
14Maririnig ito ng mga bansa at manginginig sila sa takot.
Lubhang matatakot ang mga Filisteo.
15Ang mga pinuno ng Edom at Moab ay manginginig sa takot,
at ang mga pinuno ▼

ng Canaan ay hihimatayin sa takot.16“Tunay na matatakot sila.
Sa pamamagitan ng inyong kapangyarihan, silaʼy magiging parang bato na hindi nakakakilos,
hanggang sa makadaan ang inyong mga mamamayan na inyong iniligtas, O Panginoon.
17Dadalhin nʼyo ang mga mamamayan ninyo sa inyong lupain,
at ilalagay nʼyo sila sa bundok na pagmamay-ari ninyo –
ang lugar na ginawa nʼyong tahanan, O Panginoon,
ang templong kayo mismo ang gumawa.
18Maghahari kayo, O Panginoon magpakailanman.”
19Tinabunan ng Panginoon ng tubig ang mga kabayo, mga karwahe at mga mangangabayo ng Faraon matapos na makatawid ang mga Israelita sa tuyong lupa sa gitna ng dagat.
20Kumuha ng tamburin si Miriam na propeta at kapatid ni Aaron, at pinangunahan niya ang mga babae sa pagtugtog ng tamburin at pagsayaw. 21Inawit ni Miriam ang awit na ito sa kanila:
“Umawit kayo sa Panginoon dahil lubos siyang nagtagumpay.
Itinapon niya sa dagat ang mga kabayo at ang mga sakay nito.”
Ang Mapait na Tubig
22At dinala ni Moises ang mga Israelita mula sa Dagat na Pula papunta sa ilang ng Shur. Sa loob ng tatlong araw, naglakbay sila sa ilang at wala silang nakitang tubig. 23Nang makarating sila sa Mara, nakakita sila ng tubig, pero hindi nila ito mainom dahil mapait. (Ito ang dahilan kung bakit Mara ang pangalan ng lugar.) ▼▼Mara: Ang ibig sabihin, mapait.
24Dahil dito, nagreklamo ang mga Israelita kay Moises, “Ano ang iinumin natin?” 25Kaya humingi ng tulong si Moises sa Panginoon, at ipinakita ng Panginoon sa kanya ang isang putol ng kahoy. Inihagis ito ni Moises sa tubig at nawala ang pait ng tubig.
Doon ibinigay ng Panginoon ang tuntunin at kautusang ito para subukin ang katapatan nila sa kanya: 26“Kung susundin ninyo ako nang buong puso, ang Panginoon na inyong Dios, at gagawa ng mabuti sa aking paningin, at susundin ang aking mga kautusan at tuntunin, hindi ko kayo padadalhan ng mga karamdaman gaya ng ipinadala ko sa mga Egipcio, dahil ako ang Panginoon, ang nagpapagaling sa inyo.”
27Dumating sila sa Elim, kung saan may 12 bukal at 70 puno ng palma, at nagkampo sila malapit sa tubig.

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
