Ang Paggaling ng Taong Lumpo
1Isang araw, bandang alas tres ng hapon, pumunta si Pedro at si Juan sa templo. Oras noon ng pananalangin. 2Sa pintuan ng templo na tinatawag na “Maganda” ay may isang taong lumpo mula nang ipinanganak. Araw-araw siyang dinadala roon para humingi ng limos sa mga taong pumapasok sa templo. 3Nang makita niya sina Pedro at Juan na papasok sa templo, humingi siya ng limos. 4Tinitigan siya nina Pedro at Juan. Pagkatapos, sinabi ni Pedro sa kanya, “Tumingin ka sa amin.”5Tumingin ang lalaki sa kanila na naghihintay na malimusan. 6Pero sinabi ni Pedro sa kanya, “Wala akong pera. ▼

11Parang ayaw nang humiwalay ng taong iyon kina Pedro at Juan. Lagi siyang nakahawak sa kanila habang naglalakad sila sa lugar na tinatawag na “Balkonahe ni Solomon.” Nagtakbuhan ang lahat ng tao palapit sa kanila, dahil manghang-mangha sila. 12Pagkakita ni Pedro sa mga tao, sinabi niya sa kanila, “Mga kababayan kong mga Israelita, bakit kayo namangha sa pangyayaring ito? Bakit ninyo kami tinititigan? Akala ba ninyoʼy napalakad namin ang taong ito dahil sa aming kapangyarihan at kabanalan? 13Hindi! Ang Dios ng ating mga ninunong sina Abraham, Isaac, at Jacob ang siyang gumawa nito upang parangalan niya ang kanyang lingkod na si Jesus. Ang Jesus na ito ang siyang ibinigay ninyo sa mga may kapangyarihan at itinakwil ninyo sa harapan ni Pilato, kahit napagpasyahan na niyang pakawalan siya. 14Banal siya at matuwid, ngunit itinakwil nʼyo at hiniling kay Pilato na pakawalan ang isang mamamatay-tao sa halip na siya. 15Pinatay nʼyo ang nagbibigay ng buhay, ngunit binuhay siyang muli ng Dios. At makapagpapatunay kami na nabuhay siyang muli. 16Ang pananampalataya kay Jesus ▼▼kay Jesus: sa literal, sa pangalan ni Jesus.

At sa inyong ginawa sa kanya, natupad ang sinabi ng Dios. 19Kaya ngayon, kailangang magsisi na kayo at lumapit sa Dios, para patawarin niya ang inyong mga kasalanan, 20at matanggap nʼyo ang bagong kalakasan mula sa Panginoon. Pagkatapos, ipapadala niya si Jesus, ang Cristo na itinalaga niya noon para sa inyo. 21Ngunit kinakailangang manatili muna si Jesus sa langit hanggang sa dumating ang panahon na mabago ng Dios ang lahat ng bagay. 24Ganyan din ang sinabi ng lahat ng propeta mula kay Samuel. Silang lahat ay nagpahayag tungkol sa mga bagay na mangyayari ngayon. 25Ang mga ipinangako ng Dios sa pamamagitan ng kanyang mga propeta ay para talaga sa atin na mga Judio, at kasama tayo sa kasunduan na ginawa ng Dios sa ating mga ninuno, dahil sinabi niya kay Abraham, ‘Pagpapalain ko ang lahat ng tao sa mundo sa pamamagitan ng iyong lahi.’ 26Kaya sinugo ng Dios ang kanyang piniling Lingkod, una sa atin na mga Judio, para tulungan niya tayong talikuran ang kasamaan.”

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
