Sina Pablo at Bernabe sa Iconium
1Ang nangyari sa Iconium ay katulad din ng nangyari sa Antioc. Pumunta sina Pablo at Bernabe sa sambahan ng mga Judio. At dahil sa kanilang pangangaral, maraming Judio at hindi Judio ang sumampalataya kay Jesus. 2Pero mayroon ding mga Judio na hindi sumampalataya. Siniraan nila ang mga mananampalataya sa mga hindi Judio, at sinulsulan pa nilang kalabanin sila. 3Nagtagal sina Pablo at Bernabe sa Iconium. Hindi sila natakot magsalita tungkol sa Panginoon. Ipinakita ng Panginoon na totoo ang kanilang itinuturo tungkol sa kanyang biyaya, dahil binigyan niya sila ng kapangyarihang gumawa ng mga himala at mga kamangha-manghang bagay. 4Kaya nahati ang mga tao sa lungsod na iyon; ang ibaʼy kumampi sa mga Judiong hindi mananampalataya, at ang iba namaʼy sa mga apostol.5Nagplano ang ilang mga Judio at mga hindi Judio, kasama ang kanilang mga pinuno, na saktan at batuhin ang mga apostol. 6Nang malaman ng mga apostol ang planong iyon, agad silang umalis papuntang Lystra at Derbe, mga lungsod ng Lycaonia, at sa mga lugar sa palibot nito. 7Ipinangaral nila roon ang Magandang Balita.

8May isang lalaki sa Lystra na lumpo mula nang ipinanganak. 9Nakinig siya sa mga mensahe ni Pablo. Tinitigan ni Pablo ang lumpo at nakita niyang may pananampalataya ito na gagaling siya. 10Kaya malakas niyang sinabi, “Tumayo ka!” Biglang tumayo ang lalaki at naglakad-lakad. 11Nang makita ng mga tao ang ginawa ni Pablo, sumigaw sila sa wikang Lycaonia, “Bumaba ang mga dios dito sa atin sa anyo ng tao!” 12Tinawag nilang Zeus si Bernabe, at Hermes naman si Pablo dahil siya ang mismong tagapagsalita. 13Ang templo ng kanilang dios na si Zeus ay malapit lang sa labas ng lungsod. Kaya nagdala ang pari ni Zeus ng mga torong may kwintas na bulaklak doon sa pintuan ng lungsod. Gusto niya at ng mga tao na ihandog ito sa mga apostol. 14Nang malaman iyon nina Bernabe at Pablo, pinunit nila ang kanilang damit ▼▼pinunit nila ang kanilang damit para ipakita sa mga tao na hindi tama ang kanilang gagawin.
at tumakbo sila sa gitna ng mga tao at sumigaw, 15“Mga kaibigan, bakit maghahandog kayo sa amin? Kami ay mga tao lang na katulad ninyo. Ipinangangaral namin sa inyo ang Magandang Balita para talikuran na ninyo ang mga walang kwentang dios na iyan at lumapit sa Dios na buhay. Siya ang lumikha ng langit, ng lupa, ng dagat, at ng lahat ng bagay na narito. 16Noon, hinayaan na lang ng Dios ang mga tao na sumunod sa gusto nila. 17Ngunit hindi nagkulang ang Dios sa pagpapakilala ng kanyang sarili sa mga tao sa pamamagitan ng kanyang mabubuting gawa. Binibigyan niya kayo ng ulan at mga ani sa takdang panahon. Masaganang pagkain ang ibinibigay niya sa inyo para matuwa kayo.” 18Pero kahit ganito ang sinasabi ng mga apostol, nahirapan pa rin silang pigilan ang mga tao na maghandog sa kanila. 19May mga Judiong dumating mula sa Antioc na sakop ng Pisidia at sa Iconium. Kinumbinsi nila ang mga tao na kumampi sa kanila. Pagkatapos, pinagbabato nila si Pablo at kinaladkad palabas ng lungsod sa pag-aakalang siyaʼy patay na. 20Pero nang paligiran siya ng mga tagasunod ni Jesus, bumangon siya at bumalik sa lungsod. Kinabukasan, pumunta silang dalawa ni Bernabe sa Derbe.

21Ipinangaral nina Pablo at Bernabe ang Magandang Balita sa Derbe at marami silang nahikayat na sumunod kay Jesu-Cristo. Pagkatapos, bumalik na naman sila sa Lystra, Iconium, at sa Antioc na sakop ng Pisidia. 22Pinatatag nila ang mga tagasunod ni Jesus at pinayuhang magpatuloy sa kanilang pananampalataya. Sinabi pa nila, “Maraming kahirapan ang dapat nating danasin para mapabilang sa paghahari ng Dios.” 23Pumili sina Pablo at Bernabe ng mga mamumuno sa bawat iglesya. Nag-ayuno sila at nanalangin para sa mga napili, at ipinagkatiwala nila ang mga ito sa Panginoon na kanilang pinananaligan.24Pagkatapos, dumaan sila sa Pisidia at dumating sa Pamfilia. 25Nangaral sila roon sa Perga at pagkatapos ay bumaba sila sa Atalia. 26Mula roon, bumiyahe sila pabalik sa Antioc na sakop ng Syria. Ito ang lugar na kanilang pinanggalingan, at dito rin sila ipinanalangin ng mga mananampalataya na pagpalain ng Dios ang kanilang gawain na ngayon ay natapos na nila.

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
