Isaiah 15
Unabii Dhidi Ya Moabu
1 aNeno kuhusu Moabu:Ari iliyo Moabu imeangamizwa:
imeharibiwa kwa usiku mmoja!
Kiri iliyo Moabu imeangamizwa,
imeharibiwa kwa usiku mmoja!
2 bDiboni anakwea hadi kwenye hekalu lake,
mpaka mahali pake pa juu ili walie,
Moabu anaombolezea Nebo na Medeba.
Kila kichwa kimenyolewa
na kila ndevu limeondolewa.
3 cWamevaa nguo za magunia barabarani,
juu ya mapaa na kwenye viwanja
wote wanaomboleza,
wamelala kifudifudi kwa kulia.
4 dHeshboni na Eleale wanalia,
sauti zao zinasikika hadi Yahazi.
Kwa hiyo watu wenye silaha wa Moabu wanapiga kelele,
nayo mioyo yao imezimia.
5 eMoyo wangu unamlilia Moabu;
wakimbizi wake wanakimbilia Soari,
hadi Eglath-Shelishiya.
Wanapanda njia ya kwenda Luhithi,
wanakwenda huku wanalia;
barabarani iendayo Horonaimu
wanaombolezea maangamizi yao.
6 fMaji ya Nimrimu yamekauka
na majani yamenyauka;
mimea imekauka wala hakuna
kitu chochote kibichi kilichobaki.
7 gKwa hiyo mali waliyoipata na kujiwekea akiba
wamezichukua na kuvuka Bonde la Mierebi.
8 hMwangwi wa kilio chao umefika hadi mpakani mwa Moabu,
kilio chao cha huzuni kimefika hadi Eglaimu,
maombolezo yao hadi Beer-Elimu.
9 iMaji ya Dimoni yamejaa damu,
lakini bado nitaleta pigo jingine juu ya Dimoni:
simba juu ya wakimbizi wa Moabu
na juu ya wale wanaobaki katika nchi.
Isaiah 16
Hali Ya Kukata Tamaa Ya Moabu
1 jPelekeni wana-kondoo kama ushurukwa mtawala wa nchi,
Kutoka Sela, kupitia jangwani,
hadi mlima wa Binti Sayuni.
2 kKama ndege wanaopapatika
waliofukuzwa kutoka kwenye kiota,
ndivyo walivyo wanawake wa Moabu
kwenye vivuko vya Arnoni.
3 l“Tupeni shauri,
toeni uamuzi.
Wakati wa adhuhuri,
fanyeni kivuli chenu kama usiku.
Waficheni watoro,
msisaliti wakimbizi.
4 mWaacheni watoro wa Moabu wakae pamoja nanyi;
kuweni mahali pao pa salama ili kuepuka mharabu.”
Mtesi atafikia mwisho na maangamizi yatakoma,
aletaye vita atatoweka kutoka nchi.
5 nKwa upendo kiti cha enzi kitaimarishwa,
kwa uaminifu mtu ataketi juu yake,
yeye atokaye nyumba ya Daudi:
yeye ambaye katika kuhukumu hutafuta haki,
na huhimiza njia ya haki.
6 oTumesikia juu ya kiburi cha Moabu:
kiburi chake cha kujivuna na udanganyifu,
kiburi chake na ufidhuli wake,
lakini majivuno yake si kitu.
7 pKwa hiyo Wamoabu wanaomboleza,
wanaiombolezea Moabu kwa pamoja.
Wanaomboleza na kuhuzunika
kwa ajili ya watu wa Kir-Haresethi.
8 qMashamba ya Heshboni yananyauka,
pia na mizabibu ya Sibma.
Watawala wa mataifa
wamekanyaga mizabibu iliyo mizuri sana,
ambayo ilipata kufika Yazeri
na kuenea kuelekea jangwani.
Machipukizi yake yalienea
yakafika hadi baharini.
9 rHivyo ninalia kama Yazeri aliavyo,
kwa ajili ya mizabibu ya Sibma.
Ee Heshboni, ee Eleale,
ninakulowesha kwa machozi!
Kelele za furaha kwa ajili ya tunda lako lililoiva
na kwa ajili ya mavuno zimekomeshwa.
10 sFuraha na shangwe zimeondolewa
kutoka mashamba ya matunda;
hakuna yeyote aimbaye wala apazaye sauti
katika mashamba ya mizabibu;
hakuna yeyote akanyagaye zabibu shinikizoni,
kwa kuwa nimekomesha makelele.
11 tMoyo wangu unaomboleza kwa ajili ya Moabu kama kinubi,
nafsi yangu yote kwa ajili ya Kir-Haresethi.
12 uWakati Moabu anapojitokeza mahali pake pa juu,
anajichosha mwenyewe tu;
anapokwenda mahali pake pa kuabudia miungu ili kuomba,
haitamfaidi lolote.
13Hili ndilo neno ambalo Bwana ameshasema kuhusu Moabu. 14 vLakini sasa Bwana anasema: “Katika miaka mitatu, kama vile mtumishi aliyefungwa na mkataba angeihesabu, fahari ya Moabu na watu wake wengi watadharauliwa, nao walionusurika watakuwa wachache sana, tena wanyonge.”
