Jezus pokliče svoje prve učence
(Matej 4,18-22; Marko 1,16-20)
1Nekega dne se je ob Galilejskem jezeru trlo mnogo ljudi okrog Jezusa. Vsi so hoteli slišati Božjo besedo. 2Ob bregu sta bila dva čolna, ki so ju tu pustili ribiči, sami pa so se ukvarjali z mrežami. 3Potem se je Jezus povzpel v čoln, ki je bil Petrova last ter ga je zaprosil, da odvesla nekoliko dalje od obale, da bi ga ljudje bolje slišali in videli. Jezus jim je nato govoril iz čolna. 4Ko je prenehal govoriti, je rekel Petru: “Odveslaj na globino in razpni mreže!” Peter pa je odgovoril: 5“Gospod, celo noč smo delali in ničesar nismo ujeli. Na tvojo besedo pa bomo vendar storili, kakor praviš.” 6Razpeli so mreže in ujeli toliko rib, da je izgledalo, da se bodo mreže raztrgale. 7Zato so dali znak ribičem v drugem čolnu, naj jim pridejo na pomoč. Kmalu sta bila oba čolna natovorjena do roba, da bi skoraj potonila. 8Ko je Peter to videl, je prestrašen padel na kolena pred Jezusa in zakričal: “Gospod, pojdi od mene! Prevelik grešnik sem, da bi bil v tvoji bližini.” 9Ni se namreč mogel načuditi tolikšnemu ulovu. Tudi ostali ribiči so se nadvse čudili, 10skupaj z Zebedejevima sinovoma, Jakobom in Janezom, ki sta pomagala Petru pri delu. Jezus pa je rekel Petru: “Ne boj se! Zdaj ne boš več lovil rib, ampak boš lovil ljudi.” 11Potegnili so čolne na obalo, nato pa so zapustili vse in šli z Jezusom.Gobavi bolnik ozdravljen

12V nekem mestu je Jezus srečal moža, ki je bil ves v ranah, ker je imel gobavost. Ko je zagledal Jezusa, je padel predenj na kolena in ga rotil: “Gospod, če hočeš, me lahko ozdraviš!” 13Jezus je iztegnil roko, dotaknil se ga je in rekel: “Hočem! Bodi zdrav!” Tedaj je mož ozdravel. 14Jezus mu je zapovedal, naj ne pripoveduje, kako je ozdravel. “Pojdi k duhovniku in naj te pregleda!” mu je naročil. “Prinesi žrtev za ozdravljenje, kakor zapoveduje Mojzes v zakonu. Naj vidijo, da te je Bog ozdravil.” 15Kljub temu pa je vedno več ljudi pripovedovalo o Jezusovih čudežih. Mnogi so prihajali k njemu, da bi ga poslušali in da bi jih ozdravil. 16Jezus pa se je umikal v samoto, da bi tam molil.Jezus ima moč odpustiti grehe

17Ko je Jezus nekega dne poučeval ljudstvo, so med poslušalci sedeli tudi farizeji in verski učitelji. Prišli so iz vse Galileje, iz Judeje in iz Jeruzalema. Z Božjo močjo je Jezus ozdravljal bolnike. ▼▼V izvirniku: Moč Gospodova je bila pričujoča, da jih je ozdravljal.
18Tedaj je nekaj mož prineslo paraliziranega človeka na nosilih. Poskušali so se preriniti skozi množico in prinesti bolnika k Jezusu. 19To pa ni bilo mogoče. Zaradi velike gneče se mu niso mogli približati. Nato pa so splezali na streho, odstranili nekaj opek in skozi odprtino spustili bolnika na nosilih predenj. 20Ko je Jezus videl, kako trdno so verovali vanj, je rekel bolniku: “Odpuščeni so ti grehi!” 21“Kaj pa si domišlja ta človek?” so se razburjali farizeji in verski učitelji. “To je bogokletje! Samo Bog lahko odpušča grehe!” 22Jezus je vedel, kaj mislijo in jih je vprašal: “Zakaj naj bi bilo to bogokletje? 23Mislite si, da so to le prazne besede ter da ni težko reči: ‘Odpuščeni so ti grehi!’ 24Hočem pa vam dokazati, da niso to samo prazne besede, ampak da ima Sin človekov oblast na zemlji odpuščati grehe, s tem da bom ozdravil tega človeka.” Rekel je paraliziranemu človeku: “Vstani, vzemi nosila in pojdi domov!” 25Vsi so videli, kako je mož vstal, vzel nosila, šel domov in spotoma slavil Boga. 26Vse prisotne je prevzel strah in presenečeni so gledali za njim. Potem pa so navdušeno vzkliknili: “Danes smo videli nekaj neverjetnega!” Vsi so hvalili Boga. Zdravi ne potrebujejo zdravnika

27Ko je Jezus krenil dalje, je videl carinika Levija, ko je sedel na carini. Jezus ga je pozval: “Pridi in bodi moj učenec!” 28Levi se ni obotavljal, ampak je zapustil vse in odšel z Jezusom. 29Kmalu po tem je Levi priredil na čast Jezusu veliko svečanost v svoji hiši. Mnogi cariniki in nekateri drugi njegovi prijatelji so sedeli z Jezusom in njegovimi učenci za svečano mizo. 30“Kako se le morete družiti s takšnimi grešniki?” so se pritoževali farizeji in verski učitelji učencem. 31Jezus jim je odgovoril: “Zdravim ljudem ni potreben zdravnik, ampak bolnim. 32Moja naloga je, da pozivam grešnike h kesanju in ne pravične.”Novo življenje potrebuje nove oblike

33Spet so farizeji poskušali s svojimi vprašanji ujeti Jezusa v past: “Učenci Janeza Krstnika se veliko postijo in molijo. Tudi naši prijatelji delajo tako,” so rekli Jezusu. “Tvoji učenci pa jedo in pijejo in se za post sploh ne menijo.” 34Tedaj jim je Jezus odgovoril: “Ali hočete, da svatje stradajo, medtem ko sedijo z ženinom za mizo? 35Toda prišel bo čas, ko jim bodo vzeli ženina. Tedaj se bodo tudi oni postili.” 36Še z nekim drugim primerom jim je odgovoril na vprašanje: “Nihče ne raztrga nove obleke, da bi z njo zakrpal staro. Ne samo da je škoda nove obleke, temveč nova krpa ne pristaja na staro obleko. 37Prav tako nihče ne naliva novega, kipečega vina v stare mehove. Ti se namreč razpočijo in tako ostane brez vina in brez mehov. 38Novo vino gre v nove mehove. 39Kdor pa je že pil staro vino, noče o novem vinu niti slišati. ‘Staro je najboljše,’ tako bo dejal.”

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
