Še o Božjih darovih
1Ljubezen naj bo vaš najvišji cilj. Molite pa za posebne darove, ki jih daje Sveti Duh, predvsem za to, da bi mogli govoriti drugim tako, kot vas Bog navdihne. 2Če namreč nekdo govori v nepoznanem jeziku, ne govori ljudem, ker ga nihče ne razume. Govori Bogu in to, kar govori po Božjem Duhu, je skrivnost. 3Kdor pa govori navdihnjen od Boga, lahko to posreduje drugim ljudem. Tako jim pomaga, da bi rasli v veri, tolaži jih in hrabri. 4Kdor govori v nepoznanih jezikih, krepi ▼▼V izvirniku: streže sebi v napredek.

5Zaradi mene lahko vsi govorite v jezikih. Še bolje pa bi bilo, če bi vsi lahko sprejemali od Boga navdihnjene besede in jih posredovali dalje. To je mnogo pomembnejše, kot govoriti v nepoznanih jezikih, če potem ne znaš razložiti tega, da bi mogla vsa cerkev imeti korist. 6Pomislite, dragi bratje, da bi prišel k vam in bi govoril v jeziku, ki ga nihče ne razume. Od tega gotovo ne bi imeli prav nobene koristi. Če pa vam v razumljivem jeziku povem to, kar mi je Bog razodel, kar me je naučil, ali navdihnil, ali pa vam govorim preroštva, ali vas poučujem, boste od tega vsekakor imeli korist. ▼

7S tem je prav tako kot z glasbili. Če na flavti ali harfi ni različnih tonov, ne bomo mogli prepoznati melodije. 8Noben vojak se tudi ne bo pripravil za boj, če zvok trobente ne bo jasen. 9Prav tako je tudi z vami. Če govorite nerazumljive besede, vas nihče ne bo razumel. To je tako, kot bi govorili v veter. 10Na svetu so brezštevilni jeziki in vsak jezik ima pomen za tistega, ki ga razume. ▼▼V izvirniku: nobeden ni brez pomena.
11Če pa ne znam jezika, v katerem mi nekdo govori, se s tem človekom ne morem sporazumeti, on je zame tujec, jaz pa sem tujec zanj. 12Tako je tudi z vami: če si že tako marljivo prizadevate, da bi dobili darove Svetega Duha, prosite za tiste najboljše darove, od katerih bo imela vsa cerkev korist. 13Kdor moli v nepoznanem jeziku, naj prosi Gospoda, da bi mogel tudi razložiti to, kar je molil, da bi ga vsi razumeli. 14Pri taki molitvi moli namreč Sveti Duh v meni in pri tem ne sodeluje moj razum. ▼

15Kako naj torej storim? V duhu bom molil v nepoznanem jeziku, molil pa bom tudi z razumom. Pel bom v duhu, toda tudi z razumom bom pel. 16Če namreč hvališ Boga v duhu, kako naj tisti, ki tega ne razume, potrdi tvojo molitev z “amen”? Saj sploh ne ve, kaj si govoril. 17Tvoja hvalnica je lahko še tako lepa in dobra, drugemu vendarle prav nič ne koristi. 18Hvaležen sem Bogu, da molim v nepoznanih jezikih in to bolj, kot kdorkoli izmed vas. 19Kljub temu pa v cerkvi raje povem pet besed, ki jih vsi razumejo in vsem koristijo, kot da bi povedal deset tisoč besed v nepoznanem jeziku, ki jih nihče ne razume. 20Dragi bratje, ne bodite kot otroci, ki ne razumejo, kaj jim govorimo. Bodite kot otroci kadar gre za hudobnost. Glede razumnosti pa bodite kot odrasli. 21V zakonu piše:
“Ljudi, ki govorijo tuje jezike
in ustnice tujcev bom uporabil,
da spregovorim temu ljudstvu:
pa tudi tedaj me ne bodo poslušali,”
pravi Gospod. ▼

22Dar govora v nepoznanih jezikih je dokaz nevernim, ne pa vernim, dar govora od Boga navdihnjenih besed je dokaz za verne, ne pa za neverne. ▼

23Takole si zamislite: Cerkev se zbere in vsak posameznik moli v nekem nepoznanem jeziku. Tedaj pride nekdo, ki tega ne razume, ali pa človek, ki sploh ni kristjan. Gotovo bo rekel: “Vi niste normalni!” 24Če pa namesto tega v razumljivem jeziku posredujete besede, ki vam jih je navdihnil Bog, pa pride človek, ki ne veruje, ali pa neki tujec, ali ne bo vse to, kar govorite, prebudilo njegove vesti in ga prepričalo o njegovi krivdi? 25Vse to, česar doslej ni hotel priznati celo samemu sebi, je zdaj naenkrat odkrito. Padel bo na kolena, molil bo Boga in priznal: “Zares je med vami Bog!” Pravila za bogoslužje
26Kaj zdaj to pomeni za vas v praksi, dragi bratje? Ko se zberete, naj ima vsak nekaj, s čemer lahko sodeluje. Nekdo naj zapoje neko pesem Bogu na slavo, drugi naj razlagajo Božjo besedo. Nekateri naj posredujejo od Boga navdihnjene resnice, nekateri pa naj molijo v nepoznanem jeziku in potem razložijo, da bi vsi razumeli. ▼▼V izvirniku: Kaj torej bratje? Kadar se shajate, ima vsak od vas ali psalm, ali nauk, ali razodetje, ali jezik ali razlago.
Pomembno je, da to koristi vsem in pospešuje rast njihove vere v Gospoda. 27Na bogoslužju naj največ dva ali trije molijo v nepoznanih jezikih in to drug za drugim. Te molitve naj takoj nekdo razloži vsem ostalim. 28Če pa ni nikogar, ki bi mogel razlagati, naj tudi nihče ne moli glasno v tujem jeziku. Namesto tega naj moli sam zase in Bog ga bo slišal. 29Tudi izmed tistih, ki jih je Bog navdihnil, naj dva ali trije to posredujejo ostalim. Drugi pa naj to razlagajo in razsojajo. 30Če se nekomu, ki sedi, razodene neka resnica, naj prvi govornik utihne. 31Vsi po vrsti lahko govorite o tem, kar vam je Bog razodel, da bi se vsi učili ter tudi vsi ohrabrili. 32Vsak, kdor ima dar, da posreduje od Boga navdihnjene resnice, ima povsem kontrolo nad samim seboj in lahko čaka, da pride na vrsto in tudi utihne, da bi drugi govorili. ▼▼V izvirniku: Duhovi preroški so pokorni prerokom.
33Bog namreč ne mara nereda, ampak želi, da vlada mir in soglasje.Kot v vseh drugih cerkvah, 34naj tudi pri vas žene na bogoslužjih molčijo in naj ne vpadajo v besedo. Namesto tega naj se podredijo, kakor predpisuje zakon. 35Če nečesa ne razumejo, lahko vprašajo doma svoje može. Ne spodobi se namreč, da imajo žene v cerkvi glavno besedo.
36Ali morda vi mislite drugače? Ne domišljajte si, da ste edini in prvi, ki ste slišali Božjo besedo. 37Če kdo meni, da Bog govori po njem in da je posebno napolnjen s Svetim Duhom, bo gotovo tudi soglašal s tem, da je vse, kar sem tu navedel, v soglasju z Božjo voljo. 38Vsakega pa, ki bo ta navodila zavrgel, ga bo zavrgel tudi Bog.
39Prizadevajte si, dragi bratje, da bi posredovali drugim tisto, kar vam Bog govori in nikomur ne prepovedujte, da bi molil v tujih jezikih. 40Skrbite pa za to, da vse poteka spodobno in v miru.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
