1Вечный сказал Мусе и Харуну: 2– Скажите исраильтянам: «Вот животные, живущие на земле, которых вы можете есть. 3Вы можете есть любых животных, у которых раздвоенное копыто имеет глубокий разрез и которые жуют жвачку. 4Есть животные, которые либо жуют жвачку, либо имеют раздвоенное копыто. Не ешьте из них: верблюда, потому что он жуёт жвачку, но у него копыто не раздвоено: он нечист для вас; 5дамана ▼▼ Даман – млекопитающее размером с кролика, внешне напоминающее грызунов. Обитает, преимущественно, в горных районах.
, который жуёт жвачку, но у него нет раздвоенного копыта: он нечист для вас; 6кролика, который жуёт жвачку, но у него нет раздвоенного копыта: он нечист для вас. 7А свинья, хотя у неё копыто и раздвоено и имеет глубокий разрез, не жуёт жвачку: она тоже нечиста для вас. 8Не ешьте их мясо и не прикасайтесь к их трупам: они нечисты для вас. 9Из существ, живущих в воде – в морях и реках, вы можете есть тех, у которых есть плавники и чешуя. 10Но теми существами из морей и рек, у которых нет плавников и чешуи, пресмыкающимися и другой водяной живностью гнушайтесь. 11Гнушаясь ими, не ешьте их мясо, не касайтесь их трупов. 12Вся водная живность, которая не имеет плавников и чешуи, пусть будет для вас мерзостью. 13Вот птицы, которыми вы должны гнушаться и которых не должны есть, потому что это мерзость: орёл, бородач, скопа, 14коршун, любой вид сокола, 15любой вид ворона, 16сова, козодой, чайка, любой вид ястреба, 17домовой сыч, большой баклан, филин, 18белая сова, пустынная сова, стервятник, 19аист, любой вид цапли, удод и летучая мышь ▼▼ В ряде случаев невозможно точно установить, какие именно животные имеются в виду под тем или иным названием. Также в ст. 22 и 29-30.
. 20Все насекомые, которые могут и летать, и ползать, пусть будут для вас мерзостью. 21Из всех летающих и ползающих насекомых вы можете есть только тех, у которых ноги приспособлены к прыжкам. 22Из них вы можете есть любой вид саранчи, акрид, цикад и кузнечиков. 23Но остальными насекомыми, которые могут и летать, и ползать, гнушайтесь. 24Вы осквернитесь ими. Любой, кто прикоснётся к их трупам, будет нечист до вечера. 25Всякий, кто подберёт такой труп, должен выстирать одежду и будет нечист до вечера. 26Любое животное, у которого копыто раздвоено, но не имеет глубокого разреза, или которое не жуёт жвачку, нечисто для вас. Всякий, кто прикоснётся к ним, станет нечист. 27Те четвероногие животные, которые ходят на лапах, нечисты для вас. Любой, кто прикоснётся к их трупам, будет нечист до вечера. 28Тот, кто подберёт их труп, должен выстирать одежду и будет нечист до вечера. Эти животные нечисты для вас. 29Из ползающих по земле для вас нечисты: ласка, мышь, любой вид шипохвоста, 30геккон, варан, стенная ящерица, веретеница и хамелеон. 31Из всех ползающих эти животные нечисты для вас. Любой, кто прикоснётся к их трупам, будет нечист до вечера. 32Если их труп упадёт на что-нибудь, то та вещь, будь она из дерева, ткани, шкуры или мешковины, независимо от её назначения, станет нечиста. Её нужно окунуть в воду. Она будет нечиста до вечера, а затем вновь станет чистой. 33Если труп упадёт в глиняный горшок, то всё в нём станет нечистым, и горшок нужно разбить. 34Пища, на которую попала вода из такого горшка, нечиста, и любое питьё станет в нём нечистым. 35Всё, на что упадёт труп, станет нечистым. Любой, кто подберёт труп, должен выстирать одежду и будет нечист до вечера. 41Любое пресмыкающееся – это мерзость. Его нельзя есть. 42Не ешьте пресмыкающихся, всё равно ползают ли они на брюхе, передвигаются ли на четырёх ногах или имеют много ног – это мерзость. 43Не оскверняйтесь ими, не делайтесь через них нечистыми. 44Я – Вечный, ваш Бог; освящайтесь и будьте святы, потому что Я свят. Не оскверняйтесь никакой живностью, которая пресмыкается по земле. 45Я – Вечный, Который вывел вас из Египта, чтобы быть вашим Богом. Будьте святы, потому что Я свят. 46Таков закон о зверях, птицах и всякой живности, которая кишит в воде и пресмыкается по земле. 47Отличайте нечистое от чистого, живность, которую можно есть, от той, которую есть нельзя».

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
