1Жребий рода Иуды, по кланам, простирался до земель Эдома, до пустыни Цин на самом юге. 2Их южная граница начиналась от залива, что на южной оконечности Мёртвого моря ▼, 3проходила южнее Скорпионовой возвышенности ▼▼ Или: «возвышенности Акраббим».
, продолжалась к Цину и поднималась к югу от Кадеш-Барни. Затем она шла мимо Хецрона к Аддару и поворачивала к Карке. 4Далее она проходила Ацмон, выходила к речке на границе Египта и оканчивалась у моря. Вот их южная граница. 5 Восточная граница – это Мёртвое море до устья Иордана.
Северная граница начиналась от залива в море при устье Иордана,
6поднималась к Бет-Хогле и продолжалась севернее Бет-Аравы до камня Бохана, сына Рувима.
7Затем граница поднималась к Девиру из долины Ахор и поворачивала на север к Гилгалу, что напротив возвышенности Адуммим к югу от реки. Она тянулась к водам Ен-Шемеша и заканчивалась у Ен-Рогела.
8Затем она поднималась к долине Бен-Гинном по южному склону иевусейского города (то есть Иерусалима). Оттуда она восходила на вершину горы к западу от долины Гинном в северном конце долины Рефаим.
9С вершины горы граница тянулась к источнику Нефтоах, оттуда – к городам горы Эфрон, а затем поворачивала к Баале (то есть Кириат-Иеариму).
10Затем она поворачивала к западу от Баалы к горе Сеир, проходила по северному склону горы Иеарим (то есть Кесалон), спускалась к Бет-Шемешу и проходила через Тимну.
11Она шла к северному склону Экрона, поворачивала к Шиккерону, проходила к горе Баала, достигала Иавнеила и заканчивалась у моря.

.Таковы границы вокруг народа Иудеи по его кланам. 13По повелению Вечного Иешуа дал Халеву, сыну Иефоннии, земельный надел среди народа Иудеи – Кириат-Арбу, то есть Хеврон. (Арба был отцом Анака.) 14Из Хеврона Халев прогнал трёх анакитов – Шешая, Ахимана и Талмая, потомков Анака. 15Оттуда он пошёл на жителей Девира (который прежде назывался Кириат-Сефер). 16Халев сказал: – Я отдам свою дочь Ахсу в жёны тому, кто нападёт на Кириат-Сефер и возьмёт его. 17Отниил, сын Кеназа, брата Халева, взял город, и Халев отдал ему в жёны свою дочь Ахсу. 18Однажды, по дороге к отцу, она получила разрешение Отниила попросить у её отца поле. Когда она слезла со своего осла, Халев спросил её: – Чего ты хочешь? 19Она ответила: – Окажи мне особую милость. Ты дал мне землю в Негеве – так дай мне и источники воды. И Халев дал ей верхние и нижние источники. 20Вот надел рода Иуды по их кланам: 21Города рода Иуды на самом юге, в Негеве по направлению к границе Эдома: Кавцеил, Едер, Иагур,
22Кина, Димона, Адада,
23Кедеш, Хацор, Итнан,
24Зиф, Телем, Беалот,
25Хацор-Хадатта, Кериот-Хецрон (то есть Хацор),
26Амам, Шема, Молада,
27Хацар-Гадда, Хешмон, Бет-Пелет,
28Хацар-Шуал, Беэр-Шева, Бизиотия,
29Баала, Иим, Эцем,
30Элтолад, Кесил, Хорма,
31Циклаг, Мадманна, Сансанна,
32Леваот, Шилхим, Аин и Риммон – всего двадцать девять городов с окрестными поселениями ▼.
33В западных предгорьях: Эштаол, Цора, Ашна,
34Заноах, Ен-Ганним, Таппуах, Энам,
35Иармут, Адуллам, Сохо, Азека,
36Шаараим, Адитаим, Гедера (или Гедеротаим) – четырнадцать городов с окрестными поселениями.
37Ценан, Хадаша, Мигдал-Гад, 38Дилеан, Мицпа, Иоктеил, 39Лахиш, Боцкат, Эглон, 40Каббон, Лахмас, Китлиш, 41Гедерот, Бет-Дагон, Наама и Македда – шестнадцать городов с окрестными поселениями.
42Ливна, Этер, Ашан, 43Ифтах, Ашна, Нецив, 44Кейла, Ахзив и Мареша – девять городов с окрестными поселениями.
45Экрон с окрестными селениями и посёлками; 46к западу от Экрона – всё, что рядом с Ашдодом с окрестными поселениями;
47Ашдод с окрестными селениями и посёлками; Газа с окрестными селениями и посёлками до речки на границе Египта и побережья Средиземного моря.

49Данна, Кириат-Санна (то есть Девир),
50Анав, Эштемоа, Аним,
51Гошен, Холон и Гило – одиннадцать городов с окрестными поселениями.
52Арав, Дума, Эшан, 53Ианим, Бет-Таппуах, Афека, 54Хумта, Кириат-Арба (то есть Хеврон) и Циор – девять городов с окрестными поселениями.
55Маон, Кармил, Зиф, Ютта, 56Изреель, Иокдеам, Заноах, 57Каин, Гива и Тимна – десять городов с окрестными поселениями.

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
