De Here droeg Mozes op het volgende aan de Israëlieten door te geven: ‘Als u in het land Kanaän komt, het thuisland dat Ik u in bezit heb gegeven, 3zal het zuidelijk deel van het land de woestijn Sin zijn, langs de rand van Edom. De zuidgrens begint in het oosten bij de Dode Zee, buigt daar af naar het zuiden 4via de Schorpioenenpas naar de woestijn Sin. De oostgrens loopt van Chasar-Enan naar het zuidelijk gelegen Sefam en vandaar verder naar Haribla, dat ten oosten van Aïn ligt. En de Here zei tegen Mozes: ‘Dit zijn de namen van de mannen die Ik heb uitgekozen om de verdeling van het land te regelen: de priester Eleazar, Jozua, de zoon van Nun, en één leider van elke stam. When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
