Broeders en zusters, als iemand op iets verkeerds wordt betrapt, moet u, als mensen die door de Geest geleid worden, hem vriendelijk terechtwijzen. Vergeet niet dat u zelf ook in de verleiding kunt komen iets verkeerds te doen. 1U moet elkaars moeilijkheden en problemen dragen, dan voldoet u aan de wet van Christus. 2Wie zich te belangrijk vindt om dat te doen, misleidt zichzelf. 3Ieder moet zijn eigen werk nuchter beoordelen. Als het goed is, mag hij er voldoening van hebben, maar hij hoeft zich er niet op te laten voorstaan. 4Ieder is zelf verantwoordelijk voor wat hij doet. 5Wie onderwezen wordt in het woord van God, moet zijn leraar laten delen in al het goede dat hij zelf heeft. 6Maak uzelf niets wijs: God laat niet met Zich spotten. Wat iemand zaait, zal hij ook oogsten. 7Wie naar de oude menselijke natuur leeft, kan alleen maar dood en verderf verwachten. Maar wie door de Heilige Geest leeft, zal ervaren dat de Geest eeuwig leven geeft. 8Laten wij nooit ophouden met goed doen, want na verloop van tijd zullen wij de zegen ervan oogsten, als wij het tenminste niet opgeven. 9Daarom moeten wij altijd als we daarvoor de gelegenheid hebben, voor iedereen het goede doen, in het bijzonder voor onze medechristenen. 10U ziet aan de grote letters dat ik dit zelf schrijf. 11De mensen die u dwingen zich te laten besnijden, proberen daarmee op de Joden een goede indruk te maken. Zij willen voorkomen dat ze worden vervolgd voor het geloof dat men alleen gered kan worden door Christus, die aan het kruis gestorven is. 12Maar die voorvechters van de besnijdenis doen zelf niet eens wat de Joodse wet zegt! De reden dat zij u willen besnijden, is om daarover te kunnen opscheppen. 13Wat mijzelf betreft, ik zal alleen maar hoog opgeven van onze Here Jezus Christus, die aan het kruis gestorven is. Samen met Hem is de wereld voor mij dood en ben ik voor de wereld gestorven. 14Het maakt geen enkel verschil of u besneden bent of niet. Waar het om gaat, is of God een nieuwe mens van u heeft gemaakt. 15Gods vrede en goedheid zijn voor allen die volgens deze regel leven, zij zijn Gods eigen volk. 16Voortaan wil ik niet meer met dit soort zaken lastiggevallen worden, want ik draag de littekens van Christus op mijn lichaam. 17Ik bid onze Here Jezus Christus dat zijn genade met uw geest zal zijn! Why do only some Bibles have clickable words?
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
What does “~20x” or “Frequency” mean?
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
Why do some words have dropdown next to the frequency number?
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
