1Kisha Ayubu akajibu:2 a“Naam, najua hili ni kweli.
Lakini mwanadamu awezaje kuwa mwadilifu mbele za Mungu?
3 bIngawa mtu angetaka kushindana naye,
asingaliweza kumjibu Mungu hata mara moja miongoni mwa elfu moja.
4 cHekima yake ni kubwa sana na ana uwezo mwingi mno.
Ni nani aliyempinga naye akawa salama?
5 dAiondoa milima bila yenyewe kujua
na kuipindua kwa hasira yake.
6 eAitikisa dunia kutoka mahali pake
na kuzifanya nguzo zake zitetemeke.
7 fHusema na jua, nalo likaacha kuangaza;
naye huizima mianga ya nyota.
8 gYeye peke yake huzitandaza mbingu
na kuyakanyaga mawimbi ya bahari.

Kama ni suala la haki, ni nani awezaye kumwita mahakamani?
20 wHata kama sikuwa na hatia, kinywa changu kingenihukumu;
kama sikuwa na kosa, kingenitangaza kuwa mwenye hatia.

haileti tofauti katika nafsi yangu;
nauchukia uhai wangu.
22 yHayo yote ni sawa; ndiyo sababu nasema,
‘Yeye huwaangamiza wasio na makosa pamoja na waovu.’
23 zWakati pigo liletapo kifo cha ghafula,
yeye hudhihaki kule kukata tamaa kwa yule asiye na kosa.
24 aaWakati nchi inapoangukia mikononi mwa waovu,
yeye huwafunga macho mahakimu wake.

kwa kuwa ninajua hutanihesabu kuwa sina hatia.

kwa nini basi nitaabishwe bure?
30 agHata kama ningejiosha kwa sabuni
na kutakasa mikono yangu kwa magadi,
31 ahwewe ungenitupa kwenye shimo la utelezi
kiasi kwamba hata nguo zangu zingenichukia sana.
32 ai“Yeye si mwanadamu kama mimi ili niweze kumjibu,
ili kwamba tuweze kushindana naye mahakamani.
33 ajLaiti angelikuwepo mtu wa kutupatanisha kati yetu,
aweke mkono wake juu yetu sote wawili,
34 akmtu angeliiondoa fimbo ya Mungu juu yangu,
ili utisho wake usiendelee kunitia hofu.
35 alNdipo ningenena naye, bila kumwogopa,
lakini kama ilivyo kwangu sasa, sitaweza.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
