Isaiah 63
Siku Ya Mungu Ya Kisasi Na Ukombozi
1 aNi nani huyu anayekuja kutoka Edomu,kutoka Bosra, mwenye mavazi yaliyotiwa madoa mekundu?
Ni nani huyu, aliyevikwa joho la kifahari,
anayetembea kwa ukuu wa nguvu zake?
“Mimi ndimi, nisemaye katika haki,
mwenye nguvu wa kuokoa.”
2 bKwa nini mavazi yako ni mekundu,
kama ya yule akanyagaye shinikizo la zabibu?
3 c“Nimekanyaga shinikizo la zabibu peke yangu;
kutoka mataifa hakuna mtu aliyekuwa pamoja nami.
Nimewaponda kwa miguu katika hasira yangu
na kuwakanyaga chini katika ghadhabu yangu;
damu yao ilitia matone kwenye mavazi yangu,
na kutia madoa nguo zangu zote.
4 dKwa kuwa siku ya kisasi ilikuwa moyoni mwangu,
mwaka wa ukombozi wangu umefika.
5 eNilitazama, lakini hakuwepo yeyote wa kunisaidia,
nilishangaa kwa kuwa hakuwepo yeyote aliyetoa msaada;
hivyo mkono wangu wenyewe ndio ulionifanyia wokovu,
na ghadhabu yangu mwenyewe ndiyo iliyonitegemeza.
6 fNilikanyaga mataifa kwa miguu katika hasira yangu,
katika ghadhabu yangu niliwalewesha,
na kumwaga damu yao juu ya ardhi.”
Kusifu Na Kuomba
7 gNitasimulia juu ya wema wa Bwana,kwa matendo ambayo apaswa kusifiwa,
sawasawa na yote ambayo Bwana
ametenda kwa ajili yetu:
naam, mambo mengi mema aliyoyatenda
kwa ajili ya nyumba ya Israeli,
sawasawa na huruma zake
na wema wake mwingi.
8 hAlisema, “Hakika wao ni watu wangu,
wana ambao hawatanidanganya”;
hivyo akawa Mwokozi wao.
9 iKatika taabu zao zote naye alitaabika,
na malaika wa uso wake akawaokoa.
Katika upendo wake na rehema zake aliwakomboa,
akawainua na kuwachukua siku zote zilizopita.
10 jLakini waliasi,
na kumhuzunisha Roho Mtakatifu wake.
Hivyo aligeuka na kuwa adui yao,
na yeye mwenyewe akapigana dhidi yao.
11 kNdipo watu wake wakazikumbuka siku zilizopita,
siku za Mose na watu wake:
yuko wapi yeye aliyewaleta kupitia katikati ya bahari,
pamoja na wachungaji wa kundi lake?
Yuko wapi yule aliyeweka
Roho wake Mtakatifu katikati yao,
12 laliyetuma mkono wake uliotukuka wenye nguvu
kuwa katika mkono wa kuume wa Mose,
aliyegawa maji ya bahari mbele yao,
ili kujipatia jina milele,
13 maliyewaongoza kupitia kwenye vilindi?
Kama farasi katika nchi iliyo wazi,
wao hawakujikwaa,
14 nkama ngʼombe washukao bondeni kwenye malisho,
walipewa pumziko na Roho wa Bwana.
Hivi ndivyo ulivyowaongoza watu wako
ili kujipatia mwenyewe jina tukufu.
15 oTazama chini kutoka mbinguni ukaone
kutoka kiti chako cha enzi
kilichoinuliwa juu, kitakatifu na kitukufu.
Uko wapi wivu wako na uweza wako?
Umetuzuilia wema wako na huruma zako.
16 pLakini wewe ni Baba yetu,
ingawa Abrahamu hatufahamu sisi
wala Israeli hatutambui;
wewe, Ee Bwana, ndiwe Baba yetu,
Mkombozi wetu tangu zamani za kale ndilo jina lako.
17 qEe Bwana, kwa nini unatuacha twende mbali na njia zako,
na kuifanya mioyo yetu migumu hata hatukukuheshimu?
Rudi kwa ajili ya watumishi wako,
yale makabila ambayo ni urithi wako.
18 rKwa maana kwa muda mfupi watu wako walimiliki mahali pako patakatifu,
lakini sasa adui zetu wamepakanyaga mahali patakatifu pako.
19 sSisi tumekuwa kama wale ambao hujawatawala kamwe,
kama wale ambao hawajaitwa kwa jina lako.
