2 bNinawasifu kwa kuwa mnanikumbuka katika kila jambo na kwa kushika mafundisho niliyowapa.3 cNapenda mfahamu kwamba kichwa cha kila mwanaume ni Kristo, na kichwa cha mwanamke ni mwanaume, nacho kichwa cha Kristo ni Mungu. 4 dKila mwanaume anayeomba au kutoa unabii akiwa amefunika kichwa chake, anakiaibisha kichwa chake. 5 eNaye kila mwanamke anayeomba au kutoa unabii pasipo kufunika kichwa chake, anakiaibisha kichwa chake, kwani ni sawa na yeye aliyenyoa nywele. 6 fKama mwanamke hatajifunika kichwa chake, basi inampasa kunyoa nywele zake. Lakini kama ni aibu kwa mwanamke kukata au kunyoa nywele zake, basi afunike kichwa chake. 7 gHaimpasi mwanaume kufunika kichwa chake kwa kuwa yeye ni mfano wa Mungu na utukufu wa Mungu, lakini mwanamke ni utukufu wa mwanaume. 8 hKwa maana mwanaume hakutoka kwa mwanamke, bali mwanamke alitoka kwa mwanaume. 9 iWala mwanaume hakuumbwa kwa ajili ya mwanamke, bali mwanamke kwa ajili ya mwanaume. 10 jKwa sababu hii na kwa sababu ya malaika, inampasa mwanamke awe na ishara ya mamlaka juu yake.
11Lakini katika Bwana, mwanamke hajitegemei pasipo mwanaume na mwanaume hajitegemei pasipo mwanamke. 12 kKama vile mwanamke alivyoumbwa kutoka kwa mwanaume, vivyo hivyo mwanaume huzaliwa na mwanamke. Lakini vitu vyote vyatoka kwa Mungu. 13Hukumuni ninyi wenyewe: Je, inafaa kwa mwanamke kumwomba Mungu bila kufunika kichwa chake? 14Je, maumbile ya asili hayatufundishi kuwa ni aibu kwa mwanaume kuwa na nywele ndefu? 15Lakini mwanamke akiwa na nywele ndefu ni utukufu kwake? Kwa maana mwanamke amepewa nywele ndefu ili kumfunika. 16 lKama mtu anataka kubishana juu ya jambo hili, sisi wala makanisa ya Mungu hatutambui desturi nyingine.

17 mBasi katika maagizo yafuatayo, siwezi kuwasifu, kwa sababu mkutanikapo si kwa ajili ya faida bali kwa hasara. 18 nKwanza, mnapokutana kama kanisa, nasikia kwamba kuna mgawanyiko miongoni mwenu, nami kwa kiasi fulani nasadiki kuwa ndivyo ilivyo. 19 oBila shaka lazima pawe na tofauti miongoni mwenu ili kuonyesha ni nani anayekubaliwa na Mungu. 20Mkutanikapo pamoja si chakula cha Bwana mnachokula, 21 pkwa kuwa mnapokula, kila mmoja wenu anakula bila kuwangoja wengine. Mmoja hukaa njaa na mwingine analewa. 22 qJe, hamna nyumbani kwenu ambako mnaweza kula na kunywa? Au mnalidharau kanisa la Mungu na kuwadhalilisha wale wasio na kitu? Niwaambie nini? 27 vKwa hiyo, mtu yeyote alaye mkate huo au kukinywea kikombe hicho cha Bwana isivyostahili, atakuwa na hatia ya dhambi juu ya mwili na damu ya Bwana. 28 wInampasa mtu ajichunguze mwenyewe, kabla ya kula mkate na kukinywea kikombe. 29Kwa maana mtu yeyote alaye na kunywa pasipo kuutambua mwili wa Bwana, hula na kunywa hukumu juu yake mwenyewe. 30 xHii ndiyo sababu wengi miongoni mwenu ni wagonjwa na dhaifu na wengine wenu hata wamekufa. 31 yLakini kama tungejichunguza wenyewe tusingehukumiwa. 32 zTunapohukumiwa na Bwana, tunaadibishwa ili tusije tukahukumiwa pamoja na ulimwengu.33Kwa hiyo, ndugu zangu, mkutanikapo pamoja ili kula, mngojane. 34 aaKama mtu akiwa na njaa, ale nyumbani kwake ili mkutanapo pamoja msije mkahukumiwa.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
