Koo Nyingine Za Yuda
1 aWana wa Yuda walikuwa:Peresi, Hesroni, Karmi, Huri na Shobali.
2Reaya mwana wa Shobali akamzaa Yahathi, Yahathi akawazaa Ahumai na Lahadi. Hizi ndizo zilizokuwa koo za Wasorathi.
3Hawa ndio waliokuwa wana wa Etamu:
Yezreeli, Ishma na Idbashi. Dada yao aliitwa Haselelponi. 4 bPenueli akamzaa Gedori, naye Ezeri akamzaa Husha.
Hawa walikuwa wazao wa Huri, mzaliwa wa kwanza wa Efrathi, na baba yake Bethlehemu.
5 cAshuri baba yake Tekoa alikuwa na wake wawili, Hela na Naara.
6Hawa walikuwa wazao wa Naara: Ahuzamu, Heferi, Temeni na Haahashtari.
7Wana wa Hela walikuwa:
Serethi, Sohari, Ethnani, 8na Kosi ambaye aliwazaa Anubi, Sobeba na jamaa zote za Aharheli mwana wa Harumu.
9 dYabesi aliheshimiwa kuliko ndugu zake. Mama yake alimwita Yabesi, akisema, “Nilimzaa kwa huzuni.” 10 eYabesi akamlilia Mungu wa Israeli akisema, “Ee Mungu, laiti ungenibariki kweli kweli na kuipanua mipaka yangu! Mkono wako na uwe pamoja nami, uniepushe na uovu ili nisidhurike!” Naye Mungu akamjalia hayo aliyoyaomba.
11Kelubu, nduguye Shuha, akamzaa Mehiri, naye Mehiri akamzaa Eshtoni. 12Eshtoni akawazaa Beth-Rafa, Pasea na Tehina. Tehina alikuwa baba wa Iri-Nahashi. Hawa ndio waliokuwa wazao wa Reka.
13 fWana wa Kenazi walikuwa:
Othnieli na Seraya.
Wana wa Othnieli walikuwa:
Hathathi na Meonathai. 14 gMeonathai akamzaa Ofra.
Seraya akamzaa Yoabu,
baba wa Ge-Harashimu. ▼
▼Maana yake Bonde la Mafundi.
Liliitwa hivyo kwa sababu watu walioishi humo walikuwa mafundi.15Kalebu mwana wa Yefune alikuwa na wana watatu:
Iru, Ela na Naamu.
Naye mwana wa Ela alikuwa:
Kenazi.
16Wana wa Yahaleleli walikuwa:
Zifu, Zifa, Tiria na Asareli.
17 iWana wa Ezra walikuwa:
Yetheri, Meredi, Eferi na Yaloni. Mmojawapo wa wake zake Meredi aliwazaa: Miriamu, Shamai na Ishba aliyekuwa baba yake Eshtemoa. 18 jMeredi alikuwa na mke mwingine Myahudi ambaye aliwazaa: Yeredi baba wa Gedori, Heberi baba wa Soko na Yekuthieli baba wa Zanoa. Hawa walikuwa watoto wa Bithia binti Farao, ambaye Meredi alikuwa amemwoa.
19 kWana wa mke wa Hodia aliyekuwa dada yake Nahamu walikuwa:
baba yake Keila, Mgarmi na Eshtemoa, Mmaakathi.
20Wana wa Shimoni walikuwa:
Amnoni, Rina, Ben-Hanani na Tiloni.
Wazao wa Ishi walikuwa:
Zohethi na Ben-Zohethi.
21 lWana wa Shela, mwana wa Yuda, walikuwa:
Eri baba yake Leka, Laada baba yake Maresha na jamaa za wafumaji nguo za kitani safi waliokuwa wakiishi huko Beth-Ashbea, 22 mYokimu, watu walioishi Kozeba, Yoashi na Sarafi waliotawala huko Moabu na Yashubi-Lehemu. (Taarifa hizi ni za zamani sana.) 23Hawa walikuwa wafinyanzi walioishi Netaimu na Gedera; waliishi huko wakimtumikia mfalme.

24 nWazao wa Simeoni walikuwa:Nemueli, Yamini, Yaribu, Zera na Shauli.
25Mwana wa Shauli alikuwa Shalumu, Shalumu akamzaa Mibsamu, na Mibsamu akamzaa Mishma.
26Wazao wa Mishma walikuwa:
Hamueli aliyemzaa Zakuri, Zakuri akamzaa Shimei.
27Shimei alikuwa na wana kumi na sita, na binti sita, lakini ndugu zake hawakuwa na watoto wengi, hivyo ukoo wao wote haukuwa na watu wengi kama ukoo wa Yuda. 28Waliishi Beer-Sheba, Molada, Hasar-Shuali, 29 oBilha, Esemu, Toladi, 30Bethueli, Horma, Siklagi, 31 pBeth-Markabothi, Hasar-Susimu, Beth-Biri na Shaaraimu. Hii ilikuwa miji yao mpaka wakati wa utawala wa Daudi. 32 qVijiji vilivyoizunguka vilikuwa Etamu, Aini, Rimoni, Tokeni na Ashani; jumla miji mitano: 33pamoja na vijiji vyote kuizunguka hii miji hadi huko Baali. Haya yalikuwa makao yao, nao waliweka kumbukumbu ya ukoo wao.
34Meshobabu, Yamleki, Yosha mwana wa Amazia, 35Yoeli, Yehu mwana wa Yoshibia, mwana wa Seraya, mwana wa Asieli. 36Pia Elioenai, Yaakoba, Yeshohaya, Asaya, Adieli, Yesimieli, Benaya, 37Ziza mwana wa Shifi, mwana wa Aloni, mwana wa Yedaya, mwana wa Shimri, mwana wa Shemaya.
38Watu hawa walioorodheshwa hapa juu kwa majina walikuwa viongozi wa koo zao. Jamaa zao ziliongezeka sana, 39 rwakaenea mpaka kwenye viunga vya Gedori kuelekea mashariki mwa bonde wakitafuta malisho kwa ajili ya mifugo yao. 40 sHuko walipata malisho mengi mazuri, nayo nchi ilikuwa na nafasi kubwa, yenye amani na utulivu. Baadhi ya Wahamu waliishi huko zamani.
41 tWatu walioorodheshwa majina walikuja katika nchi hiyo wakati wa Hezekia mfalme wa Yuda. Akawashambulia Wahamu katika makao yao pamoja na Wameuni ambao walikuwako huko nao wakawaangamiza kabisa, kama ilivyo dhahiri hadi leo. Kisha wakafanya makazi yao huko kwa sababu kulikuwa na malisho mazuri kwa ajili ya mifugo yao. 42 uWatu wa kabila la wa Simeoni wapatao mia tano, wakiongozwa na Pelatia, Nearia, Refaya na Uzieli wana wa Ishi, wakavamia nchi ya vilima ya Seiri. 43 vWakawaua Waamaleki waliobaki, waliokuwa wamenusurika, nao wanaishi huko hadi leo.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
