Schimbarea la față
(Mc. 9:2-13; Lc. 9:28-36)
1După șase zile, Isus i-a luat cu Sine pe Petru, pe Iacov și pe Ioan, fratele acestuia, și i-a dus deoparte, pe un munte înalt. 2Acolo I s-a schimbat înfățișarea înaintea lor. Fața Lui a strălucit ca soarele, iar hainele Lui au devenit strălucitoare ca lumina. 3Și iată că li s-au arătat Moise și Ilie, stând de vorbă cu El.4Petru I-a zis lui Isus:
‒ Doamne, este bine să fim aici! Dacă vrei, voi face aici trei corturi: unul pentru Tine, unul pentru Moise și unul pentru Ilie.
5În timp ce vorbea el, iată că un nor strălucitor i-a acoperit. Și iată că un glas din nor a zis: „Acesta este Fiul Meu preaiubit, în Care-Mi găsesc plăcerea! De El să ascultați!“.
6Când au auzit glasul, ucenicii s-au aruncat cu fața la pământ și s-au înspăimântat foarte tare.
7Dar Isus S-a apropiat și i-a atins, zicând:
‒ Ridicați-vă și nu vă temeți!
8Când și-au ridicat privirea, n-au mai văzut pe nimeni în afară de Isus singur.
9În timp ce coborau de pe munte, Isus le-a poruncit, zicând:
‒ Să nu spuneți nimănui despre această vedenie, până când va fi înviat Fiul Omului dintre cei morți.
10Ucenicii L-au întrebat, zicând:
‒ Atunci de ce spun cărturarii că trebuie să vină mai întâi Ilie?
11 Isus, răspunzând, a zis:
‒ Într-adevăr, Ilie vine și va reașeza toate lucrurile. 12Dar Eu vă spun că Ilie a venit deja, însă ei nu l-au recunoscut, ci au făcut cu el tot ce-au vrut. Tot așa urmează să sufere și Fiul Omului din cauza lor.
13Atunci ucenicii au înțeles că le vorbise despre Ioan Botezătorul.
Vindecarea unui băiat demonizat
(Mc. 9:14-29; Lc. 9:37-43)
14Când au ajuns la mulțime, un om s-a apropiat de El, a îngenuncheat înaintea Lui 15și I-a zis:‒ Doamne, ai milă de fiul meu, căci este epileptic și suferă cumplit! Cade adesea în foc și adesea în apă! 16L-am adus la ucenicii Tăi, dar n-au putut să-l vindece.
17Isus, răspunzând, a zis:
‒ O, generație necredincioasă și pervertită! Până când voi mai fi cu voi? Până când vă voi mai îngădui? Aduceți-l aici la Mine!
18Isus a mustrat demonul, iar acesta a ieșit din el. Și băiatul a fost vindecat chiar în ceasul acela.
19Atunci ucenicii s-au dus deoparte la Isus și au zis:
‒ Noi de ce n-am putut să-l alungăm?
20El le-a răspuns:
‒ Din cauza puținei voastre credințe. Adevărat vă spun că, dacă ați avea credință cât ▼
▼Gr.: ca. Sămânța de muștar este folosită ca metaforă a micimii și a lucrului neînsemnat atât în Evanghelii (Matei, Marcu și Luca), cât și în scrierile rabinice. Unii teologi sunt de părere că, în cazul de față, accentul nu cade pe mărimea credinței, ci pe prezența ei și pe capacitatea ei de a lucra.

24Când au ajuns în Capernaum, au venit la Petru cei ce încasau cele două drahme ▼▼Gr.: didrachma, echivalentul a jumătate de șechel sau a 2 denari, echivalentul plății pentru 2 zile de muncă; taxa anuală, cerută fiecărui bărbat de peste 20 ani (vezi Ex. 30:13; 2 Cron. 24:9; Neem. 10:32). În regiune, în perioada NT, circulau trei tipuri de monede: cele imperiale (după standard roman), cele provinciale (după standard grecesc) și cele locale (șechelul).

Când Petru a intrat în casă, Isus i-a luat-o înainte, zicând:
‒ Ce crezi, Simone? De la cine strâng regii pământului tributuri sau taxe? De la fiii lor sau de la străini?
26Petru I-a răspuns:
‒ De la străini.
Isus i-a zis:
‒ Așadar, fiii sunt scutiți. 27Totuși, ca să nu-i facem să se împiedice, du-te la mare, aruncă undița și trage afară primul pește care va veni. Când îi vei deschide gura, vei găsi un stater. ▼

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
