1Bet attiecībā uz to, ko jūs man rakstījāt: Ir labi cilvēkam sievieti neaizskart. 2Bet netiklības novēršanai lai katram ir sava sieva un katrai savs vīrs! 3Vīram jāizpilda pienākums pret sievu, tāpat arī sievai pret vīru. 4Sievai nav varas pār savu miesu, bet vīram; tāpat arī vīram nav varas pār savu miesu, bet sievai. 5Neizvairieties viens no otra, kā vien uz kādu laiku, pašiem vienojoties, lai nodotos lūgšanai; bet tad atkal atgriezieties viens pie otra, lai sātans jūs nekārdinātu jūsu nesavaldības dēļ. 6Bet to es saku: atļaudams, ne pavēlēdams. 7Jo es vēlos, ka visi būtu tā kā es; bet katram ir sava dāvana no Dieva: vienam tā, otram cita. 8Bet es saku neprecētajiem un atraitņiem: labi viņiem būtu, ja viņi paliktu tā kā es. 9Bet ja viņi nav atturīgi, lai precas; jo labāk doties laulībā, nekā degt kaislībā. 10Bet laulātajiem pavēlu ne es, bet Kungs: sieva lai nešķiras no vīra! 11Un ja tā šķīrusies, tad tai jāpaliek neprecētai vai jāizlīgst ar savu vīru. Arī vīrs lai sievu neatstāj! 12Pārējim ne Kungs, bet es saku: ja kādam brālim ir nekristīta sieva un tā piekrīt ar viņu kopā dzīvot, tad lai viņš to neatstāj! 13Un ja kādai ticīgai sievai ir nekristīts vīrs, un tas piekrīt ar viņu kopā dzīvot, tad lai neatstāj vīru! 14Jo ticīgā sieva svētī neticīgo vīru, un ticīgais vīrs svētī neticīgo sievu; citādi jūsu bērni būtu nešķīsti, bet tagad tie ir svēti. 15Bet ja nekristītais šķiras, tad lai iet, jo brālis vai māsa tādā gadījumā nav saistīti; Dievs mūs ir aicinājis mieram. 16Jo no kurienes tu, sieva, zini, ka izglābsi savu vīru? Vai no kurienes tu, vīrs, zini, ka izglābsi savu sievu? 17Lai katrs dzīvo tā, kā katram Kungs piešķīris un kā Dievs katru aicinājis, un kā es visās draudzēs mācu. 18Ja kāds apgraizītais ir aicināts, tad lai viņš nemeklē neapgraizīšanas; ja kāds neapgraizītais ir aicināts, tas lai paliek neapgraizīts! 19Apgraizīšana nekas nav un neapgraizīšana nekas nav, bet Dieva baušļu pildīšana. 20Katrs lai paliek tanī aicinājumā, kurā tas aicināts! 21Ja esi aicināts vergs, nezūdies par to, bet, ja vari kļūt brīvs, tad izmanto to! 22Jo kas, vergs būdams, ir Kunga aicināts, tas ir Kunga brīvlaistais; līdzīgi tas, kas brīvs būdams, aicināts, ir Kristus kalps. 23Jūs esat dārgi atpirkti, nekļūstiet cilvēku vergi! 24Brāļi, katrs lai paliek Dieva priekšā, kā viņš ir aicināts! 25Attiecībā uz jaunavību man Kunga pavēles nav, bet es dodu padomu kā tāds, kas no Kunga ieguvis žēlsirdību, lai būtu uzticīgs. 26Tāpēc pašreizējo spaidu dēļ es atzīstu par labāku, ka cilvēkam labāk palikt tāpat. 27Ja esi saistīts ar sievu, nemeklē šķiršanos; ja esi neprecēts, nemeklē sievu! 28Bet ja esi devies laulībā, tad neesi grēkojis; un ja jaunava apprecas, tā negrēko, bet miesas grūtības viņiem būs. Es tomēr gribu jūs saudzēt. 29Brāļi, tāpēc es to saku: laiks ir īss. Turpmāk, lai tie, kam ir sievas, būtu tādi, it kā viņiem tās nebūtu; 30Un tie, kas raud, kā tādi, kas neraud; un kas priecājas, kā tādi, kas nepriecājas; un kas pērk, kā tādi, kam nekā nav; 31Un kas šo pasauli izmanto, būtu kā tādi, kas to neizmanto, jo šīs pasaules veids iznīkst. 32Bet es vēlos, lai jūs būtu bez rūpēm. Kam nav sievas, tas rūpējas par to, kas ir Kunga, kā patikt Dievam. 33Bet precētais rūpējas par pasaules lietām, kā patikt sievai, un viņš ir dalīts. 34Arī neprecētā sieviete un jaunava domā par to, kas ir Kunga, lai būtu svēta miesā un garā; bet precētā domā par pasaules lietām, kā patikt vīram. 35Es to saku jūsu labā, ne cilpu jums apmezdams, bet tājā nolūkā, lai dotu jums iespēju godīgā dzīvē un bez traucējuma pielūgt Kungu. 36Bet ja kādam šķiet, ka izrādīsies necienīgi, ja viņa jaunava būs pāri gadiem, un tam tā jānotiek, tad lai dara, kā grib! Ja viņa dodas laulībā, grēka nav. 37Bet kas, nebūdams padots nekādai nepieciešamībai, noteikti nospriedis savā sirdī un, rīkojoties saskaņā ar savu brīvo gribu, ir nolēmis savā sirdī paturēt savu meitu jaunavībā, tas labi dara. 38Tātad, kas savu meitu atdod pie vīra, tas labi dara, bet kas nedod pie vīra, tas dara labāk. 39Sieva ir padota likumam, kamēr viņas vīrs dzīvs. Ja tās vīrs ir miris, viņa ir brīva un var doties laulībā, ar ko vēlas, bet tikai Kungā. 40Bet svētīgāka viņa būs, ja saskaņā ar manu padomu paliks tāpat. Es esmu pārliecināts, ka arī man ir Dieva Gars.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
