‏ Isaiah 40:6-8

6「大声で叫べ」という声が聞こえます。
「何と叫んだらよいのですか」と私は尋ねました。
「こう叫びなさい。
人は、しおれてしまう草のようなものだ。
人の美しさは、しぼんでいく花のように色あせる。
 7神の息がかかると、草はしおれ、花はしぼむ。
弱くもろい人間もそれと同じだ。
 8草はしおれ、花はしぼむ。
しかし神のおことばは、
いつまでもすたれることがない。」
