‏ Psalms 127

1主が建てたものでなければ、家を建ててもむだです。
主に町を守っていただかないのなら、
見張りが立つ意味もありません。
 2暮らしを支えるために朝早くから夜遅くまで
身を粉にして働いたとしても、
それが何になるでしょう。
主は、愛する者には必要な休息を
与えようとなさるお方です。
 3子どもたちは主からの贈り物であり、報いです。
4若いうちに生まれた子どもは、
身を守る鋭い矢のようです。
 5矢筒が矢で満ちている人は幸せです。
敵と論争するときにも、
助けを得ることができるからです。
