Salam dan pesan Paulus
1– 2Febe, seorang wanita Kristen dari Kota Kengkrea, segera akan menemui Saudara sekalian. Ia telah bekerja keras melayani jemaat di sana. Terimalah dia sebagai seorang saudara dalam Tuhan dan sambutlah dia dengan hangat. Tolonglah dia sedapat-dapatnya, sebab ia juga sudah menolong banyak orang yang dalam kesukaran, termasuk saya sendiri. 3Sampaikan salam kepada Priskila dan Akwila. Mereka teman sekerja saya dalam pekerjaan Kristus Yesus. 4Sesungguhnya mereka mempertaruhkan nyawa bagi saya, dan bukan hanya saya sendiri yang merasa bersyukur kepada mereka: semua jemaat yang bukan Yahudi juga merasa bersyukur.5Sampaikan juga salam saya kepada semua orang yang berkumpul untuk berbakti di rumah mereka. Salam saya kepada sahabat baik saya Epenetus; di Asia dialah yang pertama-tama menjadi orang Kristen. 6Sampaikan juga salam kepada Maria, yang telah bekerja keras untuk kita. 7Kemudian juga kepada kerabat saya Andronikus dan Yunias, yang pernah dipenjarakan bersama-sama dengan saya. Mereka disegani di antara para rasul dan sudah menjadi orang Kristen sebelum saya. 8Salam kepada Ampliatus yang saya kasihi sebagai seorang anak Allah, 9dan kepada Urbanus, teman sekerja kami, dan kepada Stakhis yang saya kasihi.
10Kemudian sampaikan salam saya juga kepada Apeles, seorang saleh yang diperkenan Tuhan. Salam hangat saya kepada mereka yang bekerja di rumah Aristobulus. 11Salam kepada kerabat saya Herodion. Juga kepada hamba-hamba yang beriman di rumah Narkisus. 12Sampaikan salam saya kepada Trifena dan Trifosa, pekerja-pekerja Tuhan, dan kepada Persis yang saya kasihi, yang sangat giat dalam pekerjaannya bagi Tuhan. 13Salam kepada Rufus, yang dipilih Allah, juga kepada ibunya yang saya anggap sebagai ibu saya sendiri. 14Salam juga kepada Asinkritus, Flegon, Hermes, Patrobas, Hermas, dan saudara-saudara lain yang bersama dengan mereka. 15Salam kepada Filologus, Yulia, Nereus dan saudara perempuannya, kepada Olimpas dan semua orang Kristen yang bersama-sama dengan mereka. 16Sapa satu sama lain dengan ciuman sebagai ungkapan penuh kasih yang menyatukan kalian sebagai milik Allah. Semua jemaat di sini mengirimkan salam mereka.
17Sekarang masih ada satu hal lagi yang hendak saya katakan sebelum mengakhiri surat ini. Jauhilah orang-orang yang menimbulkan perpecahan dan yang menggoyahkan iman serta yang pengajarannya tentang Kristus bertentangan dengan yang telah Saudara terima. 18Guru-guru seperti itu bukanlah bekerja untuk Tuhan Yesus, melainkan untuk keuntungan diri sendiri. Mereka pandai berkhotbah dan orang-orang yang berhati tulus mudah tertipu oleh kata-kata mereka. 19Tetapi setiap orang tahu, bahwa Saudara tetap setia dan berpihak pada kebenaran. Hal ini sungguh-sungguh menyenangkan hati saya. Saya ingin agar Saudara memegang teguh kebenaran dan menjauhkan diri dari kejahatan. 20Allah, sumber damai sejahtera, segera akan menghancurkan Iblis di bawah kaki Saudara. Semoga karunia Tuhan kita, Yesus Kristus, menyertai Saudara.
21Timotius, teman sekerja saya, dan Lukius, Yason serta Sosipater, kerabat saya, mengirimkan salam mereka. 22Sebagai seorang saudara seiman, saya, Tertius, yang menulis surat ini untuk Paulus, juga menyampaikan salam. 23Gayus juga minta supaya salamnya disampaikan kepada Saudara. Saya bertamu di rumahnya, tempat jemaat berkumpul. Erastus, bendahara kota, mengirimkan salamnya: demikian juga Kwartus, seorang saudara dalam Kristus. 24Semoga kasih karunia Tuhan kita, Yesus Kristus, menyertai Saudara sekalian.

Saya menyerahkan Saudara sekalian kepada Allah, yang dapat menguatkan serta meneguhkan Saudara dalam Tuhan, seperti yang dikatakan Injil dan seperti yang saya katakan kepada Saudara. Inilah rencana keselamatan Allah bagi Saudara yang bukan Yahudi, suatu rencana yang sejak semula dirahasiakan. Tetapi sekarang, sebagaimana dinubuatkan oleh para nabi dan diperintahkan oleh Allah, berita ini dikabarkan ke mana-mana, supaya semua orang di seluruh dunia akan beriman kepada Kristus serta taat kepada-Nya. Bagi Allahlah kemuliaan oleh Yesus Kristus, Tuhan kita, untuk selama-lamanya. Dialah satu-satunya Allah Yang Mahaarif. Amin.

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
