Yesus hidup lagi
1 Pada hari Minggu subuh, ketika hari masih gelap, Maria Magdalena pergi ke kubur. Dilihatnya batu penutup sudah terguling dari pintu kubur.2Ia lari mendapatkan pengikut-Nya yang karib dan Simon Petrus serta berkata, “Mereka telah mengambil mayat Tuhan dari kubur dan saya tidak tahu di mana mereka telah meletakkan Dia.”
3– 4Kami berlari menuju ke kubur hendak melihat. Saya berlari lebih cepat daripada Petrus dan sampai di tempat itu lebih dahulu. 5Saya membungkuk dan menengok ke dalam dan melihat kain linen terletak di situ, tetapi saya tidak masuk. 6Lalu Simon Petrus datang dan terus masuk ke dalam. Ia juga melihat kain linen terletak di situ, 7sedangkan kain pembalut yang tadinya menutupi kepala Yesus tergulung dan tertumpuk di pinggir. 8Kemudian saya juga masuk serta melihat dan percaya (bahwa Ia telah bangkit)— 9karena sampai saat itu kami tidak sadar bahwa Alkitab mengatakan Ia akan hidup kembali.
10Kami pun pulanglah. 11Pada waktu itu Maria telah kembali ke kubur serta berdiri di luar sambil menangis. Sementara menangis, ia membungkuk dan menengok ke dalam. 12Ia melihat dua malaikat berjubah putih sedang duduk pada bagian kepala dan kaki tempat mayat Yesus pernah terbaring.
13Malaikat itu bertanya kepadanya, “Apa sebabnya engkau menangis?”
“Karena mereka telah mengambil Tuhan saya,” jawabnya, “dan saya tidak tahu di mana mereka telah meletakkan Dia.”
14Ia menoleh ke belakang dan melihat seseorang berdiri di belakangnya. Orang itu Yesus, tetapi Maria tidak mengenali-Nya.
15“Apa sebabnya engkau menangis?” tanya Yesus kepadanya. “Siapakah yang kaucari?”
Maria menyangka bahwa Dia tukang kebun. “Pak,” katanya, “jikalau Bapak mengambil Dia, katakanlah kepada saya di mana Bapak telah meletakkan Dia, dan saya akan pergi mengambil-Nya.”
16“Maria!” kata Yesus. Maria memandang kepada-Nya.
“Guru!” seru Maria.
17“Jangan menyentuh Aku,” kata-Nya, “sebab Aku belum naik kepada Bapa. Tetapi carilah saudara-saudara-Ku dan katakan kepada mereka bahwa Aku akan naik kepada Bapa-Ku dan Bapamu, Allah-Ku dan Allahmu.”
18Maria Magdalena menemui murid-murid dan berkata kepada mereka, “Saya telah melihat Tuhan!” Lalu ia menyampaikan pesan Yesus kepada murid-murid-Nya.
19Malam itu murid-murid berkumpul di sebuah ruangan terkunci, sebab takut kepada pemimpin-pemimpin orang Yahudi. Tiba-tiba Yesus berdiri di tengah-tengah mereka. Sesudah memberi salam, 20Ia memperlihatkan kepada mereka tangan dan lambung-Nya. Betapa girang hati mereka, ketika mereka melihat Tuhan mereka.
21Ia berkata kepada mereka, “Sebagaimana Bapa mengutus Aku, demikian pula Aku mengutus kalian.” 22Kemudian Ia mengembuskan mereka serta berkata, “Terimalah Roh Kudus! 23Jika kalian mengampunkan dosa orang, mereka akan diampuni. Jika kalian tidak mau mengampuni mereka, mereka tidak diampuni.”
24Salah seorang murid bernama Tomas, “Si Kembar”, tidak hadir pada waktu itu. 25Ketika mereka berulang-ulang berkata kepadanya, “Kami telah melihat Tuhan,” ia menjawab, “Aku tidak akan percaya, kecuali kalau aku melihat luka-luka bekas paku pada tangan-Nya serta menusukkan jari-jariku ke dalamnya dan memasukkan tanganku ke dalam lubang pada lambung-Nya.”
26Delapan hari kemudian murid-murid berkumpul lagi dan kali ini Tomas ada bersama dengan mereka. Pintu-pintu terkunci, tetapi tiba-tiba, seperti sebelumnya, Yesus berdiri di antara mereka dan memberi salam.
27Kemudian Ia berkata kepada Tomas, “Tusukkan jarimu ke dalam tangan-Ku! Masukkan tanganmu ke dalam lubang, pada lambung-Ku! Janganlah engkau tidak percaya lagi. Percayalah!”
28“Tuhanku dan Allahku!” kata Tomas.
29Kemudian Yesus berkata kepadanya, “Engkau percaya, sebab engkau telah melihat Aku. Tetapi berbahagialah mereka yang belum melihat Aku, namun percaya.”
30– 31Murid-murid Yesus telah melihat Dia melakukan banyak mukjizat lain di samping yang diceritakan dalam buku ini, tetapi mukjizat-mukjizat ini dicatat agar Saudara percaya bahwa Ia adalah Mesias, Anak Allah, dan bahwa dengan percaya kepada-Nya Saudara akan memperoleh hidup.

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
