1Í sjöunda mánuðinum, á fyrsta degi mánaðarins, skuluð þér halda helga samkomu. Eigi skuluð þér þá vinna neina stritvinnu. Þann dag skal blásið í básúnur hjá yður. 2Í brennifórn til þægilegs ilms fyrir Drottin skuluð þér þá fórna einu ungneyti, einum hrút og sjö veturgömlum sauðkindum gallalausum. 3Og í matfórn með þeim fínt mjöl blandað við olíu, þrjá tíundu parta með nautinu, tvo tíundu parta með hrútnum, 4og einn tíunda part með hverri þeirra sjö sauðkinda. 5Enn fremur einn geithafur í syndafórn til þess að friðþægja fyrir yður, _ 6auk tunglkomu-brennifórnarinnar og matfórnarinnar, er henni fylgir, og hinnar stöðugu brennifórnar og matfórnarinnar, er henni fylgir, og dreypifórnanna, er þeim fylgja, að réttum sið _ til þægilegs ilms, sem eldfórn Drottni til handa. 7Tíunda daginn í þessum sama sjöunda mánuði skuluð þér halda helga samkomu og fasta. Þá skuluð þér ekkert verk vinna. 8En í brennifórn skuluð þér færa Drottni til þægilegs ilms eitt ungneyti, einn hrút og sjö sauðkindur veturgamlar. Skuluð þér hafa þær gallalausar. 9Og í matfórn með þeim fínt mjöl blandað við olíu, þrjá tíundu parta með nautinu, tvo tíundu parta með hrútnum, 10einn tíunda part með hverri þeirra sjö sauðkinda. 11Enn fremur einn geithafur í syndafórn, auk syndafórnar til friðþægingar, og stöðugu brennifórnarinnar og matfórnarinnar, er henni fylgir, og dreypifórnanna, er þeim fylgja. 12Á fimmtánda degi hins sjöunda mánaðar skuluð þér halda helga samkomu. Eigi skuluð þér þá vinna neina stritvinnu, heldur halda Drottni hátíð í sjö daga. 13Þér skuluð færa í brennifórn, í eldfórn þægilegs ilms Drottni til handa, þrettán ungneyti, tvo hrúta og fjórtán sauðkindur veturgamlar. Skulu þær vera gallalausar. 14Og í matfórn með þeim fínt mjöl olíublandað, þrjá tíundu parta með hverju þeirra þrettán nauta, tvo tíundu parta með hvorum þeirra tveggja hrúta 15og einn tíunda part með hverri þeirra fjórtán sauðkinda. 16Enn fremur einn geithafur í syndafórn, auk stöðugu brennifórnarinnar og matfórnarinnar og dreypifórnarinnar, er henni fylgja. 17Annan daginn tólf ungneyti, tvo hrúta og fjórtán veturgamlar sauðkindur gallalausar, 18og matfórn og dreypifórnir með nautunum, hrútunum og sauðkindunum, eftir tölu þeirra, að réttum sið. 19Enn fremur einn geithafur í syndafórn, auk stöðugu brennifórnarinnar og matfórnarinnar, er henni fylgir, og dreypifórnanna, er þeim fylgja. 20Þriðja daginn ellefu naut, tvo hrúta og fjórtán veturgamlar sauðkindur gallalausar, 21og matfórn og dreypifórnir með nautunum, hrútunum og sauðkindunum, eftir tölu þeirra, að réttum sið. 22Enn fremur einn hafur í syndafórn, auk stöðugu brennifórnarinnar og matfórnarinnar og dreypifórnarinnar, er henni fylgja. 23Fjórða daginn tíu naut, tvo hrúta og fjórtán veturgamlar sauðkindur gallalausar, 24matfórn og dreypifórnir með nautunum, hrútunum og sauðkindunum, eftir tölu þeirra, að réttum sið. 25Enn fremur einn geithafur í syndafórn, auk stöðugu brennifórnarinnar og matfórnarinnar og dreypifórnarinnar, er henni fylgja. 26Fimmta daginn níu naut, tvo hrúta og fjórtán veturgamlar sauðkindur gallalausar, 27og matfórn og dreypifórnir með nautunum, hrútunum og sauðkindunum, eftir tölu þeirra, að réttum sið. 28Enn fremur einn hafur í syndafórn, auk stöðugu brennifórnarinnar og matfórnarinnar og dreypifórnarinnar, er henni fylgja. 29Sjötta daginn átta naut, tvo hrúta og fjórtán veturgamlar sauðkindur gallalausar, 30og matfórn og dreypifórnir með nautunum, hrútunum og sauðkindunum, eftir tölu þeirra, að réttum sið. 31Enn fremur einn hafur í syndafórn, auk stöðugu brennifórnarinnar og matfórnarinnar og dreypifórnanna, er henni fylgja. 32Sjöunda daginn sjö naut, tvo hrúta og fjórtán veturgamlar sauðkindur gallalausar, 33og matfórn og dreypifórnir með nautunum, hrútunum og sauðkindunum, eftir tölu þeirra, að réttum sið. 34Enn fremur einn hafur í syndafórn, auk stöðugu brennifórnarinnar og matfórnarinnar og dreypifórnarinnar, er henni fylgja. 35Áttunda daginn skuluð þér halda hátíðastefnu. Eigi skuluð þér vinna neina stritvinnu. 36Og þér skuluð færa í brennifórn, í eldfórn þægilegs ilms Drottni til handa, eitt naut, einn hrút og sjö veturgamlar sauðkindur gallalausar, 37matfórn og dreypifórnir með nautinu, hrútnum og sauðkindunum, eftir tölu þeirra, að réttum sið. 38Enn fremur einn hafur í syndafórn, auk stöðugu brennifórnarinnar og matfórnarinnar og dreypifórnarinnar, er henni fylgja. 39Þessu skuluð þér fórna Drottni á löghátíðum yðar, auk heitfórna yðar og sjálfviljafórna, hvort heldur eru brennifórnir, matfórnir, dreypifórnir eða heillafórnir.`` 40Og Móse lagði að öllu leyti svo fyrir Ísraelsmenn sem Drottinn hafði boðið honum.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
