1Da kamen die Schriftgelehrten und Pharisäer aus Jerusalem herbei zu Jesus und sprachen: 2Warum übertreten Deine Jünger die Überlieferung der Ältesten? Denn sie waschen ihre Hände nicht, wenn sie Brot essen. 3Er aber antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Warum übertretet auch ihr das Gebot Gottes, um eurer Überlieferung willen? 4Denn Gott hat geboten und gesagt: Ehre Vater und Mutter; und wer Vater oder Mutter flucht ▼▼übel spricht
, der soll des Todes sterben ▼▼enden
. 5Ihr aber sagt: Wer zum Vater oder zur Mutter sagt: Es ist eine Gabe ▼▼näml. für den Tempel
, was du von mir zum Nutzen gehabt hättest; der wird sicherlich nicht seinen Vater oder seine Mutter ehren. 6Und ihr habt so das Gebot Gottes um eurer Überlieferung willen ungültig gemacht. 7Ihr Heuchler, schön hat von euch Jesajas geweissagt und gesprochen: 8Es nahet Mir dieses Volk mit dem Munde und ehret Mich mit den Lippen; aber ihr Herz ist weit weg von Mir. 9Aber vergeblich verehren sie Mich, weil sie solche Lehre lehren, die Gebote der Menschen sind. 10Und Er rief das Volk ▼▼Gedränge
zu Sich und sprach zu ihnen: Höret und verstehet es! 11Nicht was zum Munde eingeht, macht den Menschen gemein, sondern was vom Munde ausgeht, das macht den Menschen gemein. 12Da kamen Seine Jünger herbei und sagten zu Ihm: Weißt Du, daß die Pharisäer, da sie das Wort hörten, sich ärgerten? 13Er aber antwortete und sprach: Jegliche Pflanze, die Mein himmlischer Vater nicht gepflanzt hat, wird ausgereutet werden. 14Lasset sie. Sie sind blinde Wegweiser der Blinden. Wenn aber ein Blinder einem Blinden den Weg weiset, werden beide in die Grube fallen. 15Petrus aber antwortete und sprach zu Ihm: Deute uns dieses Gleichnis. 16Er aber sprach: Dann seid auch ihr unverständig? 17Begreifet ihr noch nicht, daß alles, was zum Munde eingeht, das geht in den Bauch, und wird in den Abzug geworfen? 18Was aber vom Munde ausgeht, das kommt aus dem Herzen, und das macht den Menschen gemein. 19Denn aus dem Herzen kommen hervor schlechte Gedanken, Morde, Ehebrüche, Buhlereien, Diebereien, falsche Zeugnisse, Lästerungen. 20Das ist es, was den Menschen gemein macht; das Essen mit ungewaschenen Händen aber macht den Menschen nicht gemein. 21Und Jesus ging aus von dannen und entwich in die Gegend ▼▼Teile
von Tyrus und Sidon. 22Und siehe, ein kanaanitisches Weib kam von jenen Grenzen heraus, schrie Ihm laut zu und sprach: Erbarme Dich meiner, Herr, Du Sohn Davids, meine Tochter ist übel ▼▼böse
besessen. 23Er aber antwortete ihr kein Wort. Und Seine Jünger kamen zu Ihm, baten ▼▼fragten
Ihn und sagten: Entlasse sie; denn sie schreit uns nach. 24Er aber antwortete und sprach: Ich bin nur abgesandt zu den verlorenen Schafen des Hauses Israel. 25Sie aber kam, fiel vor Ihm nieder und sprach: Herr, hilf mir. 26Er aber antwortete und sprach: Es ist nicht schön, daß man der Kinder Brot nehme, und werfe es vor die Hündchen. 27Sie aber sprach: Ja, Herr, und doch essen die Hündchen von den Brosamen, die von ihrer Herren Tische fallen. 28Da antwortete Jesus und sprach zu ihr: O Weib, dein Glaube ist groß. Dir geschehe, wie du willst. Und ihre Tochter ward gesund zur selbigen Stunde. 29Und Jesus ging weiter von dannen und kam an das Meer von Galiläa und stieg auf den Berg hinauf und setzte Sich allda. 30Und es kam zu Ihm viel Volks ▼▼Gedränge
, und sie hatten mit sich Lahme, Blinde, Stumme, Krüppel und viele andere und warfen sie dahin zu Seinen Füßen, und Er heilte sie. 31So daß sich das Volk ▼▼Gedränge
verwunderte, da sie sahen Stumme reden, Krüppel gesund werden, Lahme wandeln und Blinde sehen; und sie verherrlichten den Gott Israels. 32Jesus aber rief Seine Jünger herbei und sprach: Mich jammert des Volkes ▼▼Gedränge
, daß sie nun schon drei Tage bei Mir verharren und nichts zu essen haben; und ungegessen will Ich sie nicht von Mir lassen, auf daß sie nicht auf dem Wege verschmachten. 33Und Seine Jünger sprechen zu Ihm: Woher soll uns in der Wüste so viel Brot werden, um so viel Volk ▼▼Gedränge
zu sättigen? 34Und Jesus spricht zu ihnen: Wie viele Brote habt ihr? Sie aber sagten: Sieben und einige Fischlein. 35Und Er befahl dem Volk ▼▼Gedränge
, sich auf die Erde niederzulassen. 36Und Er nahm die sieben Brote und die Fische, dankte, brach sie und gab sie Seinen Jüngern, die Jünger aber dem Volke ▼▼Gedrän- ge
. 37Und sie aßen alle und wurden satt; und hoben auf das übrige der Brocken, sieben volle Weidenkörbe. 38Die aber gegessen hatten, waren viertausend Männer ohne die Weiber und Kinder. 39Und da Er das Volk ▼▼Gedränge
entlassen hatte, stieg Er ein in das Fahrzeug und kam in die Grenzen von Magdala.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
