1Und es geschah an einem jener Tage, als Er das Volk im Heiligtum lehrte und das Evangelium verkündigte, da traten ▼▼standen bei Ihm
die Hohenpriester und die Schriftgelehrten samt den Ältesten zu Ihm, 2Und sprachen zu Ihm und sagten: Sage uns, aus was für Gewalt tust Du das? Oder wer ist es, der Dir diese Gewalt gegeben hat? 3Er aber antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Ich will euch auch ein Wort fragen, und sagt Mir: 4Die Taufe des Johannes, war sie vom Himmel oder von Menschen? 5Sie aber überlegten es sich bei sich und sagten: Sprechen wir: Vom Himmel, so wird Er sagen: Warum glaubtet ihr ihm dann nicht? 6Sprechen wir aber: Von Menschen, so wird alles Volk uns steinigen ▼▼niedersteinigen
; denn es ist überzeugt, daß Johannes ein Prophet ist. 7Und sie antworteten, sie wüßten es nicht, woher. 8Und Jesus sprach zu ihnen: So sage Ich euch auch nicht, aus was für Gewalt Ich das tue. 9Er fing aber an, dieses Gleichnis zum Volk zu sagen: Ein Mensch pflanzte einen Weinberg und gab ihn an Weingärtner aus und zog für geraume ▼▼genugsame
Zeit über Land. 10Und zur bestimmten Zeit sandte er einen Knecht an die Weingärtner, auf daß sie ihm von der Frucht des Weinberges gäben. Die Weingärtner aber stäupten ihn und sandten ihn leer hinweg. 11Und er schickte noch ▼▼tat hinzu zu schicken
einen anderen Knecht; auch den stäupten und beschimpften sie und sandten in leer hinweg. 12Und er schickte noch ▼▼tat hinzu zu schicken
eine dritten; aber auch diesen verwundeten sie und warfen ihn hinaus. 13Der Herr des Weinberges aber sprach: Was soll ich tun? Ich will meinen geliebten Sohn schicken; vielleicht, wenn sie den sehen, scheuen sie sich. 14Da die Weingärtner ihn aber sahen, bedachten sie bei sich und sprachen: Dies ist der Erbe. Kommt, lasset uns ihn töten, auf daß das Erbe unser werde. 15Und sie warfen ihn hinaus aus dem Weinberg und töteten ihn. Was wird ihnen nun der Herr des Weinberges tun? 16Er wird kommen und diese Weingärtner umbringen und den Weinberg andern geben. Da sie aber das hörten, sprachen sie: Das werde doch nicht! 17Er aber blickte sie an und sprach: Was ist denn das, das geschrieben ist: Der Stein, den die Bauleute verworfen haben, der ist zum Eckstein ▼▼Haupt der Ecke
geworden? 18Jeder, der auf diesen Stein fällt, der wird zerschellen; auf den er aber fällt, den wird er zerschmettern. 19Und die Hohenpriester und die Schriftgelehrten trachteten danach, daß sie zur selben Stunde Hand an Ihn legten, und sie fürchteten das Volk; denn sie erkannten, daß Er auf sie dieses Gleichnis gesagt hatte. 20Und sie hielten auf Ihn und sandten Laurer aus, die sich stellen sollten, als ob sie gerecht wären, auf daß sie Ihn in einem Worte fingen und sie Ihn der Obrigkeit und der Gewalt des Landpflegers überantworten könnten. 21Und sie fragten Ihn und sprachen: Lehrer, wir wissen, daß Du recht sprichst und lehrst, und nicht auf das Angesicht siehst ▼▼nimmst
, sondern nach der Wahrheit den Weg Gottes lehrst. 22Ist es uns erlaubt, dem Kaiser den Schoß zu geben, oder nicht? 23Er aber gewahrte ihre Arglist und sprach zu ihnen: Was versuchet ihr Mich? 24Zeigt Mir einen Denar! Wessen Bildnis und Überschrift hat er? Sie aber antworteten und sagten: Des Kaisers. 25Er aber sprach zu ihnen: So gebet denn dem Kaiser, was des Kaisers ist, und Gott, was Gottes ist. 26Und sie vermochten nicht, Ihn in der Rede zu fangen vor dem Volk, und verwunderten sich über Seine Antwort und schwiegen. 27Da kamen aber etliche der Sadduzäer herzu, die da widersprechen, daß eine Auferstehung sei, fragten Ihn, 28Und sprachen: Lehrer, Moses hat uns geschrieben: So jemandes Bruder stirbt, der ein Weib hat, und dieser kinderlos stirbt, soll sein Bruder dessen Weib nehmen und seinem Bruder Samen erwecken ▼▼auferstehen lassen
. 29Nun waren sieben Brüder. Und der erste nahm ein Weib und starb kinderlos. 30Und der zweite nahm das Weib, und dieser starb kinderlos. 31Und der dritte nahm sie, desgleichen aber auch die sieben, und hinterließen keine Kinder und starben. 32Zuletzt von allen starb auch das Weib. 33In der Auferstehung nun, wessen Weib wird sie sein von diesen? Denn die sieben haben sie zum Weibe gehabt. 34Und Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Die Söhne dieses Zeitlaufs freien und lassen sich freien. 35Die aber gewürdigt werden, jenen Zeitlauf und die Auferstehung von den Toten zu erlangen, die werden weder freien, noch sich freien lassen. 36Noch können sie mehr sterben; denn sie sind den Engeln gleich, und sind Söhne Gottes, da sie Söhne der Auferstehung sind. 37Daß aber die Toten auferweckt werden, hat auch Moses angezeigt bei dem Dornbusch, wenn er den Herrn nennt den Gott Abrahams und den Gott Isaaks und den Gott Jakobs. 38Gott aber ist nicht der Toten, sondern der Lebendigen; denn sie leben Ihm alle. 39Da antworteten aber etliche der Schriftgelehrten und sagten: Lehrer, Du hast wohl ▼▼schön
gesprochen. 40Sie wagten es aber nicht mehr, Ihn irgend etwas zu fragen. 41Er sprach aber zu ihnen: Wie sagen sie denn, Christus sei Davids Sohn? 42Und David selbst sagt in dem Buch der Psalmen: Der Herr sprach zu meinem Herrn: Setze Dich zu Meiner Rechten, 43Bis daß Ich lege Deine Feinde zum Schemel Deiner Füße. 44David nennt Ihn also Herr. Und wie ist er denn Sein Sohn? 45Da aber alles Volk zuhörte, sprach Er zu Seinen Jüngern: 46Nehmt euch in Acht vor den Schriftgelehrten, die da wollen in Gewändern wandeln und gern haben die Begrüßungen auf den Märkten und die ersten Sitze in den Synagogen und die ersten Plätze ▼▼Bänke

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
