1Und es sang Deborah und Barak, der Sohn Abinoams, am selben Tag und sprach: 2Weil sie mit Hingebung sich hingaben in Israel, weil das Volk willig war, segnet Jehovah. 3Höret ihr Könige, nehmet zu Ohren, ihr Beherrscher! Ich, ich will Jehovah singen, ich will Psalmen singen Jehovah, dem Gott Israels. 4Da du, Jehovah, ausgingst aus Seir, da Du aus dem Felde Edoms schrittest einher, erbebte die Erde, auch die Himmel troffen, auch die dichten Wolken troffen Wasser. 5Berge zerflossen ▼▼rieselten

sie die Gerechtigkeiten Jehovahs, die Gerechtigkeiten Seiner Landstädte in Israel. Dann lasset sie, Jehovahs Volk, hinabgehen zu den Toren. 12Wach auf, wach auf, du Deborah! Wach auf, wach auf! Sprich den Gesang! Mache auf dich, Barak, nimm deine Gefangenschaft gefangen, Sohn Abinoams. 13Nun wird der Rest beherrschen die Stattlichen, o Volk; Jehovah wird für mich beherrschen die Mächtigen. 14Von Ephraim, was auf dem Amalek wurzelt, hinter dir her Benjamin mit deinen Völkern. Von Machir kommen die Gesetzgeber herab, und von Sebulun, die des Schreibers Rute führen ▼▼herausziehen

Verfluchet seine Einwohner; denn sie kamen nicht Jehovah beizustehen, beizustehen Jehovah wider die Mächtigen. 24Gesegnet sei vor den Weibern Jael, das Weib des Cheber, des Keniten; vor den Weibern im Zelte sei sie gesegnet! 25Er erbat sich Wasser, sie gab Milch. In der Schale des Stattlichen brachte sie Rahm dar. 26Sie reckte ihre Hand aus nach dem Pflocke und ihre Rechte nach der Arbeiter Hammer. Und sie zerhämmerte Sisera, zerschlug sein Haupt; und sie zerschmetterte und durchbohrte seine Schläfe. 27Zwischen ihren Füßen krümmt er sich, er fällt, er liegt. Warum verzieht sein Streitwagen, daß er komme? How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
