1Und Er sprach zu mir: Menschensohn, iß, was du findest, iß diese Rolle und gehe, rede zu dem Hause Israels. 2Und ich öffnete meinen Mund, und Er ließ mich essen diese Rolle, 3Und Er sprach zu mir: Menschensohn, laß essen deinen Bauch und fülle deine Eingeweide mit dieser Rolle, die Ich dir gebe. Und ich aß, und sie war in meinem Mund wie Honig an Süße. 4Und Er sprach zu mir: Menschensohn, gehe hin, komme zu dem Hause Israels und rede zu ihm mit Meinen Worten. 5Denn nicht zu einem Volk von tiefer Lippe und von schwerer Zunge bist du gesandt; zum Hause Israels, 6Nicht zu vielen Völkern von tiefer Lippe und von schwerer Zunge, deren Worte du nicht hörst. Würden sie nicht, wenn Ich zu ihnen dich sendete, auf dich hören? 7Aber das Haus Israels ist nicht willens, auf dich zu hören, denn sie sind nicht willens auf Mich zu hören, weil das ganze Haus Israels von bestärkter Stirne und von hartem Herzen ist. 8Siehe, Ich mache ▼▼gebe
dein Angesicht stark ihrem Angesicht entgegen, und deine Stirne stark entgegen ihrer Stirne. 9Wie den Diamant, stärker denn der Fels, mache ▼▼gebe
Ich deine Stirne. Fürchte dich nicht und entsetze dich nicht vor ihnen, daß sie ein widerspenstig Haus sind. 10Und Er sprach zu mir: Menschensohn, alle Meine Worte, die Ich zu dir rede, nimm zu deinem Herzen und höre sie mit deinen Ohren. 11Und gehe hin, komme zu den Weggeführten, zu den Söhnen deines Volkes und rede zu ihnen und sprich zu ihnen: Also spricht der Herr Jehovah; ob sie es hören, oder ob sie es unterlassen. 12Und der Geist erhob mich, und ich hörte hinter mir die Stimme eines großen Erdbebens: Gesegnet sei die Herrlichkeit Jehovahs von Seinem Orte aus; 13Und die Stimme der Flügel, der Tiere, die einander ▼▼das Weib ihre Schwester
küß-ten, und die Stimme der Räder samt ihnen und eines großen Erdbebens Stimme. 14Und der Geist erhob mich und nahm mich, und bitter im Grimm meines Geistes ging ich; und die Hand Jehovahs war stark über mir. 15Und ich kam zu den Weggeführten gen Tel Abib, zu denen, die sitzen am Flusse Chebar, und betrachtete sie allda sitzen, und saß da sieben Tage erstaunt in ihrer Mitte. 16Und es geschah am Ende der sieben Tage, daß Jehovahs Wort an mich geschah, und Er sprach: 17Menschensohn, zum Wächter habe Ich dich gegeben für das Haus Israel, und hören sollst du aus Meinem Mund ein Wort, und sie von Mir warnen. 18Wenn Ich zu den Ungerechten spreche: Du sollst des Todes sterben, und du warnst ihn nicht und redest nicht, den Ungerechten zu warnen vor seinem ungerechten Weg, um ihn am Leben zu erhalten, so stirbt er, der Ungerechte, in seiner Missetat, aber Ich fordere ▼▼suche
sein Blut von deiner Hand. 19Und so du den Ungerechten gewarnt hast, und er nicht zurückkehrt von seiner Ungerechtigkeit und von seinem ungerechten Wege, so wird er sterben in seiner Missetat, und du hast deine Seele errettet. 20Und wenn sich ein Gerechter zurückwendet von seiner Gerechtigkeit und Verkehrtes tut, und Ich einen Anstoß vor ihn tue ▼▼gebe
, daß er stirbt; so du ihn nicht verwarnt hast ob seiner Sünde, so stirbt er, und nicht gedacht wird seiner Gerechtigkeit, die er getan, aber Ich fordere ▼▼suche
sein Blut von deiner Hand. 21Und so du den Gerechten hast gewarnt, daß der Gerechte nicht sündige, und er nicht sündigt, soll er leben ▼▼lebend leben
, weil er sich hat warnen lassen; und du hast deine Seele errettet. 22Und allda war die Hand Jehovahs über mir, und Er sprach zu mir: Stehe auf und gehe in den Talgrund hinaus, und dort werde Ich zu dir reden. 23Und ich stand auf und ging hinaus in den Talgrund, und siehe, allda stand die Herrlichkeit Jehovahs, wie die Herrlichkeit, die ich am Flusse Chebar sah, und ich fiel auf mein Angesicht. 24Und in mich kam der Geist und ließ mich auf meine Füße stehen, und Er redete mit mir und sprach zu mir: Gehe hinein und schließe dich ein in deines Hauses Mitte. 25Und du, Menschensohn, siehe, man legt ▼▼gibt
dir Stricke ▼▼Seile
an und bindet dich damit, daß du nicht mitten unter sie ausgehst. 26Und deine Zunge will Ich an deinem Gaumen kleben lassen, daß du verstummen sollst und nicht mehr für sie ein Mann der Rüge sein mögest; denn ein widerspenstig Haus sind sie. 27Und wenn Ich mit dir rede, will Ich deinen Mund öffnen, daß du zu ihnen sprechest: Also spricht der Herr Jehovah: Der, so es höret, höre es, und der es unterläßt, unterlasse es, weil sie sind ein widerspenstig Haus.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
