‏ Psalms 42

መዝሙር ፡ ዘዳዊት ።
1ፍታሕ ፡ ሊተ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ወተበቀል ፡ በቀልየ ፡
እምሕዝብ ፡ ውፁኣን ፡ እምጽድቅ ፤
እምብእሲ ፡ ዐማፂ ፡ ወጽልሕው ፡ ባልሐኒ ፡
 2እስመ ፡ አንተ ፡ አምላኪየ ፡ ወኀይልየ ፡ ለምንት ፡ ተኀድገኒ ፤
ወለምንት ፡ ትኩዝየ ፡ ኣንሶሱ ፡ ሶበ ፡ ያመነድቡኒ ፡ ፀርየ ።
 3ፈኑ ፡ ብርሃነከ ፡ ወጽድቀከ ፡
እማንቱ ፡ ይምርሓኒ ፤ ወይስዳኒ ፡ ደብረ ፡ መቅደስከ ፡
ወውስተ ፡ አብያቲከ ፡ እግዚኦ ።
 4ወእበውእ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ምሥዋዒሁ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡
ኀበ ፡ አምላኪየ ፡ ዘአስተፈሥሓ ፡ ለውርዙትየ ፤
 5እገኒ ፡ ለከ ፡ አምላኪየ ፡ በመሰንቆ ።
ለምንት ፡ ትቴክዚ ፡ ነፍስየ ፡ ወለምንት ፡ ተሀውክኒ ፤
 6እመኒ ፡ በእግዚአብሔር ፡ ከመ ፡ እገኒ ፡ ሎቱ ፡
ወድኀኔ ፡ ገጽየ ፡ አምላኪየ ።
