16The Lord said:aBecause bthe daughters of Zion are haughty
and walk with outstretched necks,
glancing wantonly with their eyes,
mincing along as they go,
ctinkling with their feet,
17therefore the Lord dwill strike with a scab
the heads of ethe daughters of Zion,
and the Lord will lay bare their secret parts.
18In that day the Lord will take away fthe finery of the anklets, the gheadbands, and the hcrescents; 19the pendants, the bracelets, and the scarves; 20the iheaddresses, the armlets, the sashes, the perfume boxes, and the amulets; 21the signet rings and jnose rings; 22the kfestal robes, the mantles, the cloaks, and the handbags; 23the mirrors, the linen garments, the turbans, and the veils. 24Instead of lperfume there will be rottenness;
and instead of a mbelt, a rope;
and instead of nwell-set hair, obaldness;
and instead of a rich robe, a pskirt of sackcloth;
and qbranding instead of beauty.
25Your men shall fall by the sword

26And rher gates shall lament and mourn;
