1 “When ^ayou allot the land as an inheritance, ^byou shall set apart for the Lord a portion of the land as a holy district, 25,000 cubits ^{▼▼A cubit was about 18 inches or 45 centimeters; a long cubit (see 40:5) was about 21 inches or 53 centimeters} long and 20,000 ^{▼▼Septuagint; Hebrew ten} cubits broad. It shall be holy throughout its whole extent.
