Kong Hizkijas sygdom og helbredelse
1Senere blev Hizkija alvorligt syg og lå for døden. Da kom profeten Esajas til ham og sagde: „Gør dig klar til at dø, for Herren siger, du ikke bliver rask igen.” 2Esajas gik derefter sin vej, og Hizkija vendte ansigtet mod væggen. 3„Åh, Herre,” tryglede han, „husk dog på, hvordan jeg altid har bestræbt mig på at adlyde dig og behage dig i alt, hvad jeg har foretaget mig.” Og han græd højt. 4 ▼▼ This verse is empty because in this translation its contents have been moved to form part of verse Es. 38:5.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
