Shaharajim lod sig skille fra sine koner, Hushim og Ba’ara, og flyttede til Moabs land, hvor han giftede sig med Hodesh, og fra ham nedstammer slægtsoverhovederne Jobab, Zibja, Mesha, Malkam, Jeutz, Sakeja og Mirma. 11Med Hushim havde Shaharajim tidligere fået sønnerne Abitub og Elpa’al. 12Elpa’al fik sønnerne Eber, Misham og Shemed. Sidstnævnte grundlagde byerne Ono og Lod med tilhørende landsbyer. 13Desuden fik han sønnerne Beria og Shema, der var overhoveder for den del af slægten, som slog sig ned i Ajjalon og fordrev Gats indbyggere. 14Elpa’al fik også sønnerne Shashak og Jeremot. ▼▼ Teksten usikker.

Alle de her nævnte personer tilhørte Benjamins stamme.

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
