Ježíš ve farizeově domě
1A stalo se, když v sobotu vešel do domu jednoho z vůdců farizeů pojíst chleba a oni ho pozorně sledovali, 2hle, byl před ním nějaký ▼▼hapax legomenon, jediný výskyt v StS (často nejistý význam) [není uvedeno u všech]
vodnatelný člověk. 3Ježíš na to zákoníkům a farizeům řekl: „Je dovoleno v sobotu ▼▼13,14n
uzdravit, nebo ne?“ 4Oni však mlčeli. I vzal ho, uzdravil jej a propustil. 5A jim řekl: „Spadne–li někomu z vás syn ▼▼Některé rkpp: osel; srv. Dt 5,14, kde kategorie lidí začíná synem a kat. zvířat volem. Ježíšova akce byla nezákonná pouze podle rabínského výkladu, nikoliv podle Zákona samotného.

12Říkal také tomu, který ho pozval: „Když pořádáš oběd nebo večeři, nevolej své přátele ani své bratry ani své příbuzné ani bohaté sousedy, aby tě snad také nepozvali, a tak by se ti dostalo odplaty. ▼▼6,33

chudé, zmrzačené, chromé a slepé, ▼▼v. 21; 7,22
14a budeš blahoslavený, protože nemají, čím ti odplatit; bude ti odplaceno ▼▼Mt 25,35—37

15Podobenství o veliké večeři
Když to uslyšel jeden ze spolustolujících, řekl mu: „Blahoslavený, ▼▼Zj 19,9

v Božím království.“ 16Ježíš mu řekl: „Jeden ▼▼//Mt 22,2—14
člověk pořádal velikou večeři a pozval mnohé. ▼▼[Pozvaní na počátku potvrdili svou účast, ale když posel doručil oznámení o začátku večeře, odmítli.]
17A v hodinu večeře poslal svého otroka říci pozvaným: 'Pojďte, protože [vše] už je připraveno.' 18I začali se všichni stejně vymlouvat. První mu řekl: 'Koupil jsem pole a musím se na ně jít podívat. Prosím tě, přijmi mou omluvu.' ▼▼[odmítnout po předchozím přijetí pozvání bylo urážkou]
19A druhý řekl: 'Koupil jsem pět párů volů a jdu je vyzkoušet. Prosím tě, přijmi mou omluvu.' 20A další řekl: 'Oženil ▼▼1K 7,33
jsem se, a proto nemohu přijít.' 21Když otrok přišel, oznámil to svému pánu. Tu se hospodář rozhněval a svému otroku řekl: 'Vyjdi rychle na náměstí a do ulic města a přiveď sem chudé, zmrzačené, slepé a chromé.' ▼▼v. 13
22A otrok řekl: 'Pane, stalo se, co jsi přikázal, a ještě je místo.' 23A pán řekl otroku: 'Vyjdi na cesty a k ohradám a přinuť je vejít, aby se můj dům naplnil. 24Neboť vám pravím, že nikdo z těch mužů, kteří jsou pozváni, neokusí mé večeře.'“ ▼▼Mt 21,43; J 3,36; Sk 13,46; He 12,25

nemůže být mým učedníkem. 28Neboť když někdo z vás chce postavit věž, což si napřed nesedne a nepočítá náklad, má–li na dokončení stavby? 29Jinak by se mu všichni, kteří to vidí, začali posmívat, když by položil základ a nemohl by stavbu dokončit, 30a říkali by: 'Tento člověk začal stavět, ale nemohl dokončit.' 31Nebo táhne–li nějaký král, aby se s jiným králem střetl ve válce, což si napřed nesedne a nerozváží, ▼▼Př 20,18
je–li schopen s deseti tisíci utkat se s tím, kdo proti němu přichází s dvaceti tisíci? 32Jestliže ne, pošle poselstvo, dokud je ten druhý král ještě daleko, a ptá se na podmínky míru. 33Tak tedy žádný z vás, kdo neopouští všechno, co mu náleží, ▼▼Fp 3,7n

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
